1:1 以色列王大衛兒子所羅門的箴言: The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
1:2 要使人曉得智慧和訓誨,分辨通達的言語, for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; 1:3 使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨, for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; 1:4 使愚人靈明,使少年人有知識和謀略, for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-- 1:5 使智慧人聽見,增長學問,使聰明人得著智謀, let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance-- 1:6 使人明白箴言和譬喻,懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. 1:7 敬畏耶和華是知識的開端;愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools 1:7 The Hebrew words rendered ((fool)) in Proverbs, and often elsewhere in the Old Testament, denote one who is morally deficient. despise wisdom and discipline. 1:8 我兒,要聽你父親的訓誨,不可離棄你母親的法則〔或譯:指教〕; Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. 1:9 因為這要作你頭上的華冠,你項上的金鍊。 They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. 1:10 我兒,惡人若引誘你,你不可隨從。 My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them. 1:11 他們若說:你與我們同去,我們要埋伏流人之血,要蹲伏害無罪之人; If they say, <<Come along with us; let's lie in wait for someone's blood, let's waylay some harmless soul; 1:12 我們好像陰間,把他們活活吞下;他們如同下坑的人,被我們囫圇吞了; let's swallow them alive, like the grave, 1:12 Hebrew ((Sheol)) and whole, like those who go down to the pit; 1:13 我們必得各樣寶物,將所擄來的,裝滿房屋; we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; 1:14 你與我們大家同分,我們共用一個囊袋; throw in your lot with us, and we will share a common purse>>-- 1:15 我兒,不要與他們同行一道,禁止你腳走他們的路。 my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths; 1:16 因為,他們的腳奔跑行惡;他們急速流人的血, for their feet rush into sin, they are swift to shed blood. 1:17 好像飛鳥,網羅設在眼前仍不躲避。 How useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds! 1:18 這些人埋伏,是為自流己血;蹲伏,是為自害己命。 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they waylay only themselves! 1:19 凡貪戀財利的,所行之路都是如此;這貪戀之心乃奪去得財者之命。 Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it. 1:20 智慧在街市上呼喊,在寬闊處發聲, Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; 1:21 在熱鬧街頭喊叫,在城門口,在城中發出言語, at the head of the noisy streets 1:21 Hebrew; Septuagint ((/ on the tops of the walls)) she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech: 1:22 說:你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧,褻慢人喜歡褻慢,愚頑人恨惡知識,要到幾時呢? <<How long will you simple ones 1:22 The Hebrew word rendered ((simple)) in Proverbs generally denotes one without moral direction and inclined to evil. love your simple ways? 三月三日 「那鬼喊叫,使孩子大大的抽了一陣瘋,就出來了。」馬可福音九章26節 惡者從來不肯放棄他的地盤,除非先有一陣激烈的戰爭。我們得到屬靈的產業,並不是在宴樂中得到的,乃是在戰場上得到的。這是屬靈的祕密。我們身體的各部亦是如此,要恢復屬靈的自由,必須要有寶血的代價。亞玻倫(啟九11)不是能用情誼、禮貌、要求,請出來的;他在裏面高視闊步;所以我們必須用屬靈的武力,寶血和眼淚驅逐他,他纔會出去。這一點我們必須記得,否則我們生活中會有許多誤解。我們重生,並不是重生在王宮中,乃是重生在曠野;那裏我們喫的奶,就是四周的風波和戰爭。「我們進入神的國,必須經歷許多艱難。」(徒十四22) ─喬懷德 我們祖先的信心, 雖歷經火與劍, 甚之牢獄的迫害, 但仍然不變, 我們聽到了這許多光榮的史蹟, 我們的心啊! 何等的跳躍歡騰。 我們祖先的信心, 神聖的信心, 我們亦願矢忠矢誠, 至死不易! 我們的祖先, 被關在黑牢之中, 可是他們心中自由的良知, 誰能索縛? 倘若後代子孫也能為神殉道, 那是何等美妙何等幸福!

March 3 "And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him." (Mark 9:26.) EVIL never surrenders its hold without a sore fight. We never pass into any spiritual inheritance through the delightful exercises of a picnic, but always through the grim contentions of the battle field. It is so in the secret realm of the soul. Every faculty which wins its spiritual freedom does so at the price of blood. Apollyon is not put to flight by a courteous request; he straddles across the full breadth of the way, and our progress has to be registered in blood and tears. This we must remember or we shall add to all the other burdens of life the gall of misinterpretation. We are not "born again" into soft and protected nurseries, but in the open country where we suck strength from the very terror of the tempest. 三月三日 神計劃中人的地位 「天是耶和華的天、地,祂卻給了世人。」詩篇廿五篇16節 神創造天作為祂自己的居所——完美的、榮耀的、至聖的。祂把地給了人作為人的居所——一切都很美好,只不過在起初的光景,需要人看守、栽培。神的工作已作成而有待人繼續並完成。認想土中所藏的煤礦以及水中之蒸氣,都有待人去發現、使用,正如今日遍地的鐵路網及水面上的船隻。神創造萬有就是如此被人所用,藉著人的智慧與勤勞去發現、使用。今天地上能有那麼多都市、居所、農田、果園等,都當歸功於人。創造之工是由神開始的,神創造、預備了,而是由人實行並達成神的目的。因此大自然就給我們看見這個奇妙的神人合作經營,為達到此目的的神,呼召人與祂同工,使神創造的工作能得以實行並達到神所預定之結果。 這個原則在神恩典的國度中也是一樣。在神偉大的救贖中,神已經把天上的生命及一切屬靈的福氣都向人顯明出來。但神卻把宣揚救恩福氣的工作託給人,使人能得著這些福氣。 世人為了尋求神所隱藏在地裡的財寶,而顯出何等的慇勤!離道神的兒女不該同樣地忠心尋求神所藏在天上的福氣,而將這些祝福帶到地上來嗎?乃是藉著神子民晝夜的呼求不能使祂的國度降臨,使祂的旨意行在地上如同行在天上。 禱告: 永遠可稱頌的主啊,您所賜予人的地位是何等奇妙,祂竟能將您所動的善工託付人繼續下去。我們求您開啟我們的心,使我們知道有藉著傳揚福音及代禱的工作,您的子民才能實行出您的旨意。主啊,開我們的眼睛——奉主耶穌之名。阿們。

三月三日 愛的真表現 「你餧養我的羊。」約翰福音廿一章17節 這是愛的成就。神的愛不是造的,愛是神的本性。在我們領受聖靈的時候,聖靈使我們與神聯絡,使祂的愛在我們裡面彰顯出來。當我們的靈藉著內在的聖靈而與神結合的時候,那並不是就此了事;是要我們與父合而為一,正如耶穌與父合而為一一樣。耶穌基督與父的合一性如何呢?因為祂與父合一,所以父差祂下來替我們作完全的犧牲,祂也照樣的說:「您怎樣差遣我到世上,我也照樣差他們到世上。」 彼得因主刺激問語的啟示而認知他愛耶穌;然後耶穌就叫他分愛於人。不必表證你怎樣的愛我,不必宣揚你所有的奇妙的啟示,但要「餧養我的羊。」耶穌有些怪異而調皮的羊,有些污濁的羊,有些粗野好鬥的羊,有些走入迷途的羊!神的愛沒有疲竭的可能,如果我們愛是由那個中心的源頭流出,我裡面的愛也沒有疲竭的可能。神的愛不因個性的分別而有差異。如果我愛主,我就不可讓我的性情來指導;只要餧養祂的羊就得了。這是責無旁貸的職務。當心不要以人性的同情來代替神的愛,因為那種愛終結是要褻瀆神之愛的。

三月三日 「凡管教的事,當時不覺得快樂,反覺得愁苦;後來卻為那經練過的人,結出平安的果子,就是義。」希伯來書十二章11節 神似乎喜歡用似非而是或似矛盾的方法來成就事情。例如甜頭之前必有酸苦,黎明之前總是黑夜,死亡卻是生命的大門;這彷彿是祂賜恩典的法則。 有許多人想得到權力,但是權力從何而來呢?有一天我經過一個發電場,看到電如何使電車的引擎轉動。我聽到無數輪子的嗡嗡之聲,於是就問我的朋友:「電力是如何產生的?」他說:「是靠那些輪子轉動時所產生的電磁摩擦而生,摩擦產生電流。」 同樣道理,當神要使我們更有能力時,祂也使我們受更多壓力。祂藉著摩擦使我們能有屬靈的力量。有些人不喜歡這個方法,有些人不明白。往往我們會逃避壓力,而不藉這樣的機會得到能力,或是突破痛苦的經歷。 煩惱憂傷的人,你雖在管教之中, 天父正在說:「休息、休息。」 讓我們學習在主前默默無聲。 使神能照著祂的旨意來塑造我們。
