箴言, 1章

^1:1 以色列王大衛兒子所羅門的箴言： The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
^1:2 要使人曉得智慧和訓誨，分辨通達的言語， for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;
^1:3 使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨， for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair;
^1:4 使愚人靈明，使少年人有知識和謀略， for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young--
^1:5 使智慧人聽見，增長學問，使聰明人得著智謀， let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance--
^1:6 使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
^1:7 敬畏耶和華是知識的開端；愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools 1:7 The Hebrew words rendered ((fool)) in Proverbs, and often elsewhere in the Old Testament, denote one who is morally deficient. despise wisdom and discipline.
^1:8 我兒，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則〔或譯：指教〕； Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
^1:9 因為這要作你頭上的華冠，你項上的金鍊。 They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
^1:10 我兒，惡人若引誘你，你不可隨從。 My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.
^1:11 他們若說：你與我們同去，我們要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害無罪之人； If they say, <<Come along with us; let's lie in wait for someone's blood, let's waylay some harmless soul;
^1:12 我們好像陰間，把他們活活吞下；他們如同下坑的人，被我們囫圇吞了； let's swallow them alive, like the grave, 1:12 Hebrew ((Sheol)) and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
^1:13 我們必得各樣寶物，將所擄來的，裝滿房屋； we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder;
^1:14 你與我們大家同分，我們共用一個囊袋； throw in your lot with us, and we will share a common purse>>--
^1:15 我兒，不要與他們同行一道，禁止你腳走他們的路。 my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths;
^1:16 因為，他們的腳奔跑行惡；他們急速流人的血， for their feet rush into sin, they are swift to shed blood.
^1:17 好像飛鳥，網羅設在眼前仍不躲避。 How useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds!
^1:18 這些人埋伏，是為自流己血；蹲伏，是為自害己命。 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they waylay only themselves!
^1:19 凡貪戀財利的，所行之路都是如此；這貪戀之心乃奪去得財者之命。 Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it.
^1:20 智慧在街市上呼喊，在寬闊處發聲， Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares;
^1:21 在熱鬧街頭喊叫，在城門口，在城中發出言語， at the head of the noisy streets 1:21 Hebrew; Septuagint ((/ on the tops of the walls)) she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:
^1:22 說：你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧，褻慢人喜歡褻慢，愚頑人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？ <<How long will you simple ones 1:22 The Hebrew word rendered ((simple)) in Proverbs generally denotes one without moral direction and inclined to evil. love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
^1:23 你們當因我的責備回轉；我要將我的靈澆灌你們，將我的話指示你們。 If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you.
^1:24 我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會； But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,
^1:25 反輕棄我一切的勸戒，不肯受我的責備。 since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke,
^1:26 你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。 I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you--
^1:27 驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
^1:28 那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。 <<Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me.
^1:29 因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華， Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD,
^1:30 不聽我的勸戒，藐視我一切的責備， since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,
^1:31 所以必吃自結的果子，充滿自設的計謀。 they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
^1:32 愚昧人背道，必殺己身；愚頑人安逸，必害己命。 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
^1:33 惟有聽從我的，必安然居住，得享安靜，不怕災禍。 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.>>

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（03月23日）

三月廿三日「他們將爭戰時所奪的財物分別為聖，以備修造耶和華的殿。」歷代志上廿六章27節物質的力量是含蓄在地裏煤中的，煤是古代的植物受壓、受燒而成的；照樣，屬靈的力量是含蓄在我們裏面靈中的，靈越經過試煉和戰爭，越加增力量。但是這種試煉和戰爭的痛苦，是我們現在所不能明白的。有一天我們要看見：我們在試煉和戰爭時所奪的財物，能叫我們幫助帶領別的信徒，鼓勵他們經過試煉和戰爭而進入天城。可是，我們絕不能忘記：幫助別人的條件，乃是自己先在苦難中得勝。在苦難中怨天尤人，絕不能給別人甚麼益處。保羅帶到各處的，並不是他的墳墓，乃是他得勝的讚美；他的試煉越難，他的信靠和歡呼也越多。他說：「我若被澆奠在你們信心的祭物上，也是喜樂，並且與你們眾人一同喜樂。」（腓二17，直譯）主，求您幫助我們從一切臨到我們的事上得到力量！在試煉和戰爭中發出讚美來叫您得著快樂！叫同走天路者得著鼓勵！　　　　　　　　　　─譯自屬天的日子祂把我放進籠中，　離開了園中的樹木青蔥；但我仍要唱出最美的歌頌，　因為是祂把我放進籠中。這是造物主的旨意，　我絕不掙扎卻安定從容，還要引聲高歌，　使歌聲直達天城。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（03月23日）

March 23 　"Out of the spoils won in battle did they dedicate to maintain the house of the lord."(1 Chron. 26:27.) 　ＰHYSICAL force is stored in the bowels of the earth, in the coal mines, which came from the fiery heat that burned up great forests in ancient ages; and so spiritual force is stored in the depths of our being, through the very pain which we cannot understand. 　Some day we shall find that the spoils we have won from our trials were just preparing us to become true "Great hearts" in the Pilgrim's progress, and to lead our fellow pilgrims triumphantly through trial to the city of the King. 　But let us never forget that the source of helping other people must be victorious suffering. The whining, murmuring pang never does anybody any good. 　Paul did not carry a cemetery with him, but a chorus of victorious praise; and the harder the trial, the more he trusted and rejoiced, shouting from the very altar of sacrifice. he said, "Yea, and If I be offered upon the service and sacrifice of your faith, I joy and rejoice with you all." Lord, help me this day to draw strength from all that comes to me! 　　　　　　　　　　─Days of Heaven upon Earth. "He placed me in a little cage, 　Away from gardens fair; But I must sing the sweetest songs 　Because He placed me there. Not beat my wings against the cage 　If it's my Maker's will, But raise my voice to heaven's gate 　Amd sing the louder still!"

■ 永活之泉（03月23日）

三月廿三日　不住的代禱「……不住的禱告。」帖撒羅尼迦前書五章17節一般的基督徒對事奉神的標準與聖經所告訴我們的，是何等的不同。他們只重於個人的平安——赦罪的恩使我們能進天堂。但聖經的標準遠超過種想法——一個真正的基督徒乃是將一切力量、時間、意念並愛，完全獻給那位救贖我們的榮耀的神，並且樂意事奉祂。天堂乃是開始於人與神的交通。對於前者而言，「不住的禱告」不過是不必要也是不可能達到完全的生活。有誰能做得到？不這樣做也一樣可以進天堂。但對一個真實的基督徒而言則恰相反，這句話乃說出神應許於人者乃最高的喜樂，一種充滿著一切福氣的生活，藉著代禱而臨到人。因著人恆切的禱告，禱告就愈來愈成為人在地上最高的目標、最大的喜樂，也是與神之間交通的最寶貴經歷。「不住的禱告。」但願我們以最大的信心，把這句話當做是神的聖靈在我們心內做工的一個應許。神也應許我們得以與主耶穌有密切的連合，使我們能像祂，這一切都因著祂在神的右邊，永遠為我們代禱。願禱告成為我們蒙召的主要因素之一，使我們知道，我們乃是在神恩典中做忠實的僕人與管家。當我們想起主耶穌曾說：「我在他們裡面，你在我裡面」時，我們能相信父如何做工在祂裡面，基督為大祭司，也照樣為我們禱告並做工在我們裡面。當從上面的呼召之信心充滿在我們內心的時候，我們就開始覺得，在地上沒有任何一刻、任何事物能與做神大祭司的特權相比；亳無間隔地行走在祂神聖的同在裡，把我們四周靈魂的重擔卸在祂的寶座前，從祂得著能力與祝福分賜他人。這的確應驗古時的話說：「人是照著神的形像及樣式造的。」

■ 中文屬天日子（03月23日）

三月廿三日　我是屬肉體的嗎？「因為在你們中間，有嫉妒紛爭，這豈不是屬乎肉體麼？」哥林多前書三章3節自然人並不感覺甚麼肉慾不肉慾。抵抗重生之靈的慾望與抵抗肉體的慾望，兩不相容。才產生這種感覺。保羅說：「你們當順著聖靈而行，就不放縱肉體的情慾了。」（加五16）肉慾便消滅不見了。你喜歡意氣之爭麼？稍小之事也易擾亂你的心麼？「凡是這樣的人，便不是基督徒。」保羅偏說他們是基督徒，因為他把這些事情關連到肉慾的方面去了。聖經裡面有沒有一種真理，容易觸動你的怒氣？倘若如此，那便憑證你還是屬肉體的。假使成聖之工業已作成，決無如此痕跡的外露。如果神的靈察出你裡面有甚麼不對，祂不要你糾正；祂要你接受光明，祂要來糾正。光明之子常坦白無隱，認罪於神之前；一個黑暗之子，反作種種彎曲的解釋。光明來到，錯失自覺。作光明之子而認罪，神自會對付那種錯失；如果你替自己辯護，那便證明你自己仍是黑暗之子。離去肉慾的憑證是甚麼呢？不要自欺，當肉慾之離我而去，那是最真實不過的事。你也有許多機會，向自己證明神恩典的奇妙。實際的測驗，是唯一的證據。你說：「如果這從前發生過，我真是要生氣的！」你會稀奇神在你裡面所作的工。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（03月23日）

三月廿三日「若有人在基督裡，他就是新造的人……。」哥林多後書五章17節一個人在主裡重生和個人地位的昇高，可說是有很大的差別。哲學的教導是我們正在提高人類的地位；但這不是福音的教導。相反的，十字架的教導是人必須與主同死，完全失去自我，然後在主裡重生。重生並不是一種改進，也不是一種地位的提高；重生乃是一種新的屬靈生命，使我們從一個無價值的人進到神的裡面，並且擁有祂的性格。我們不僅成為新造的人，同時不斷地在主裡進升到更高的境界。所以讓我們拒絕接受比重生次一等的生命。我已與耶穌同釘十字架，十字架已完全釋放了我；我已與耶穌一起復活了，現在祂住在我心裡且作我的王。這是主基督的故事：祂藉著死在十架上得到榮耀的寶座。就像祂一樣，我們通往榮耀的路，心必須先經過死亡。
