箴言, 1章

^1:1 以色列王大衛兒子所羅門的箴言： The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
^1:2 要使人曉得智慧和訓誨，分辨通達的言語， for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;
^1:3 使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨， for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair;
^1:4 使愚人靈明，使少年人有知識和謀略， for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young--
^1:5 使智慧人聽見，增長學問，使聰明人得著智謀， let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance--
^1:6 使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
^1:7 敬畏耶和華是知識的開端；愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools 1:7 The Hebrew words rendered ((fool)) in Proverbs, and often elsewhere in the Old Testament, denote one who is morally deficient. despise wisdom and discipline.
^1:8 我兒，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則〔或譯：指教〕； Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
^1:9 因為這要作你頭上的華冠，你項上的金鍊。 They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
^1:10 我兒，惡人若引誘你，你不可隨從。 My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.
^1:11 他們若說：你與我們同去，我們要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害無罪之人； If they say, <<Come along with us; let's lie in wait for someone's blood, let's waylay some harmless soul;
^1:12 我們好像陰間，把他們活活吞下；他們如同下坑的人，被我們囫圇吞了； let's swallow them alive, like the grave, 1:12 Hebrew ((Sheol)) and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
^1:13 我們必得各樣寶物，將所擄來的，裝滿房屋； we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder;
^1:14 你與我們大家同分，我們共用一個囊袋； throw in your lot with us, and we will share a common purse>>--
^1:15 我兒，不要與他們同行一道，禁止你腳走他們的路。 my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths;
^1:16 因為，他們的腳奔跑行惡；他們急速流人的血， for their feet rush into sin, they are swift to shed blood.
^1:17 好像飛鳥，網羅設在眼前仍不躲避。 How useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds!
^1:18 這些人埋伏，是為自流己血；蹲伏，是為自害己命。 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they waylay only themselves!
^1:19 凡貪戀財利的，所行之路都是如此；這貪戀之心乃奪去得財者之命。 Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it.
^1:20 智慧在街市上呼喊，在寬闊處發聲， Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares;
^1:21 在熱鬧街頭喊叫，在城門口，在城中發出言語， at the head of the noisy streets 1:21 Hebrew; Septuagint ((/ on the tops of the walls)) she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:
^1:22 說：你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧，褻慢人喜歡褻慢，愚頑人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？ <<How long will you simple ones 1:22 The Hebrew word rendered ((simple)) in Proverbs generally denotes one without moral direction and inclined to evil. love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
^1:23 你們當因我的責備回轉；我要將我的靈澆灌你們，將我的話指示你們。 If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you.
^1:24 我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會； But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,
^1:25 反輕棄我一切的勸戒，不肯受我的責備。 since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke,
^1:26 你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。 I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you--
^1:27 驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
^1:28 那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。 <<Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me.
^1:29 因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華， Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD,
^1:30 不聽我的勸戒，藐視我一切的責備， since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,
^1:31 所以必吃自結的果子，充滿自設的計謀。 they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
^1:32 愚昧人背道，必殺己身；愚頑人安逸，必害己命。 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
^1:33 惟有聽從我的，必安然居住，得享安靜，不怕災禍。 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.>>

十月七日「你們中間誰是敬畏耶和華聽從祂僕人之話的。這人行在暗中，沒有亮光，當倚靠耶和華的名，仗賴自己的神。」以賽亞書五十章10節一個信徒在黑暗苦悶中應該怎樣呢？在疑難困惱中應該怎樣呢？一個忠心順服神旨的信徒常會遭到黑暗苦悶的經歷，有時竟會叫他不知道該怎樣行——天上滿佈著黑雲，路上也看不見亮光；真好像在暗中摸索一般。親愛的，這在暗中摸索的是不是正是你呢？一個信徒在這種黑暗苦悶的時候該怎樣行呢？聽神的話！「當倚靠耶和華的名，仗賴自己的神。」第一件當作的事就是不作甚麼。這是可憐的人性很難作到的一件事。在西方有一句格言說：「困惱的時候不要急衝；」這意思就是說：「你不知當作甚麼的時候，就當不作。」要是前面有霧，就不該再向前航行。在必需的時候，還該拋下錨去。照樣，在黑暗苦悶的時候，我們不該再作甚麼。我們所要作的祗是信靠仰賴神。惟有在我們信靠的時候，神纔能替我們工作。如果我們的心仍自憂急痛苦，如果覆蔽我們的黑暗仍能叫我們恐怖，如果我們仍然東奔西走地去逃避神給我們的試煉，我告訴你：神一點都不能替我們作甚麼。我們應當靜下我們的心來安息在神的平安裡。我們應當像小孩子一般把我們的手放在神的手中，讓祂引領我們進入祂愛的光明中去。樹林裡的路徑只有祂最熟悉，所以讓我們爬上祂的雙臂去；祂必懷抱我們從最簡捷、最穩妥的路徑出去。　　　　　　　　　　─巴亭登我們不知道該怎樣駕駛的時候，旁邊決不會沒有嚮導的。我的心啊，要堅持你的信仰，　唯有固守不移者才會得勝；在海上遇到了狂風暴浪，　若離開鐵錨，你的命運勢必蹭蹬；凡是始終握住耶穌的人，　即使天崩地塌，也能站立穩定。你要堅守，悲痛終有完結之時，　塵土之中將興起戰勝的光芒，暴風雨預示憂日的來臨；　十字架指向著天上的王，父神在統治一切，停止你種種疑慮，　我的心，你要握住，堅持不放。

October 7 "Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? He that walketh in darkness and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rely upon his God."(Isa, 50:10, R.V.) 　ＷHAT shall the believer do in times of darkness-the darkness of perplexity and confusion, not of heart but of mind? Times of darkness come to the faithful and believing disciple who is walking obediently in the will of God; seasons when he does not know what to do, nor which way to turn. The sky is overcast with clouds. The clear light of Heaven does not shine upon his pathway. One feels as if he were groping his way in darkness. 　Beloved, is this you? What shall the believer do in times of darkness? Listen! "Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and rely upon his God." 　The first thing to do is do nothing. This is hard for poor human nature to do. In the West there is a saying that runs thus, "When you're rattled, don't rush"; in other words, "When you don't know what to do, don't do it." 　When you run into a spiritual fog ban, don't tear ahead; slow down the machinery of your life. If necessary, anchor your bark or let it swing at its moorings. We are to simply trust God. While we trust, God can work. worry prevents Him from doing anything for us. If our minds are distracted and our hearts distressed; if the darkness that overshadows us strikes terror to us; if we run hither and you in a vain effort to find some way of escape out of a dark place of trial, where Diving providence has put us, the Lord can do nothing for us. 　The peace of God must quiet our minds and rest our hearts. We must put our hand in the hand of God like a little child, and let Him lead us out into the bright sunshine of His love. 　He knows the way out of the woods. Let us climb up into His arms, and trust Him to take us out by the shortest and surest road. 　　　　　　　　　　－Dr. Pardington. 　Remember we are never without a pilot when we know not how to steer. ■ 永活之泉（10月07日）

十月七日　最大的問題「你們信我能做成這事麼？」他們對祂說：「主啊！我們信。」馬太福音九章28節「你若能信，在信的人凡事都能。」孩子的父親立時喊著說：「我信！但我信不足，求主幫助！」（可九23、24）「信我的人雖然死了也必復活，……你信這話嗎？」她回答說：「主阿！我信。」（約十一25─27）當我們看見或聽到耶穌，我們就要學習馬大說：「主啊！我信您是基督，是神的兒子。」但當要我們相信基督有復活生命的大能，要每天整個時候內住在我們裏面，我們就不會說：「無所不能，無所不在而且永不改變的基督，救贖我們的神，真的要整天與我們同行，永不止息的內住在我們裏面。」這真是無比的恩典，但這只要憑著信就可接受，期待祂在我們裏面運行。我們清楚瞭解基督的捨己是我們體驗祂內住的訣要，神無法勉強賜福給我們，這得要我們渴慕去追求，神才能幫助我們體驗這個應許。耶穌從死裏復活，證明祂完全的得勝，神既能使基督從死裏復活，無疑也能使我們從罪的綑綁中得到釋放。祂既然戰勝死亡，有復活的生命，就能親自在我們心中成全祂的應許，親自整天內住在我們心中。然而最大的問題是，我們必須把基督當作我們的神、救贖主，深信不疑地支取祂的話。因祂應許：「我整天與你同在。」又問我們：「你信嗎？」讓我們都回答：「是的，主啊！我深信。」

十月七日　和好「神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在祂裡面成為神的義。」哥林多後書五章21節罪是一種基要的關係；不是錯行，是錯行的本身，是故意脫離罪而獨立。基督教的基礎，是建在罪性之解除的上面。別的宗教對付眾多的罪，聖經只對付罪的總因。耶穌基督所要解決人心裡的第一件事，是罪的遺傳，就是因為宣傳福音時忽略了這事，所以福音的使命喪失了它的鋒芒和它的爆炸力。聖經的啟示，不是說耶穌基督擔負了我們肉體的罪，卻是說祂擔負了人不能觸著的罪性。神使祂的兒子成為罪人，為的是叫罪人成為聖者。全部聖經沒有那一處不是啟示我們的主是用同化的方法，擔負世人的罪，不用同情的方法。祂自願擔起全人類的罪──「神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪。」祂是像這樣，把全人類放在救贖的基礎。耶穌基督恢復人類原有的地位；恢復到神原來計畫的地方，無論甚麼人，都能因我們的主在十字架上所行的，而達到與神聯合為一的地步。人不能救贖自己；救贖是神的事，這是絕對成功了完全實現了。它對於個人，是個人行動的問題。全人類救贖的事工，與個人接受救贖的恩典，二者之間的區別，是要分清的。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月07日）

十月七日「祂被欺壓，在受苦的時候卻不開口……」以賽亞書五十三章7節我們需要多少的恩典，才能泰然地忍受一個誤解，或是以聖潔甜美的態度接受一個不仁慈的責難。沒有任何事比說我們壞話，更能考驗出基督徒的性格。這件事可以察驗出我們是真金，還是鍍金的假貨。假使我們知道隱藏在我們生命中的祝福有多少，那麼我們就能像大衛容忍示每那樣地有度量，並且在被咒罵時仍然能說：「……由他咒罵罷，因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。或者耶和華見我遭難，為我今日被這人咒罵，就施恩與我。」(撒下十六11-12) 有些人很容易在為自己伸冤或是報仇時，失去了他們的高貴及莊嚴。很快地，這些人生命中的小糾紛就會成為一個旋風。這情形就像一窩大黃蜂，我們或許能把牠們驅散，但可能被刺得遍體鱗傷，而且一無所獲，因為牠們的蜜根本不值一取。願神給我們更多耶穌的靈，使我們能像「耶穌被罵不還口，受害不說威嚇的話，只將自己交託那按公義審判人的主。」(彼前二23)並且以希伯來書十二章3節自勉：「那忍受罪人這樣頂撞的，你們要思想，免得疲倦灰心。」
