1:1 以色列王大衛兒子所羅門的箴言： The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
1:2 要使人曉得智慧和訓誨，分辨通達的言語， for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; 1:3 使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨， for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; 1:4 使愚人靈明，使少年人有知識和謀略， for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-- 1:5 使智慧人聽見，增長學問，使聰明人得著智謀， let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance-- 1:6 使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. 1:7 敬畏耶和華是知識的開端；愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools 1:7 The Hebrew words rendered ((fool)) in Proverbs, and often elsewhere in the Old Testament, denote one who is morally deficient. despise wisdom and discipline. 1:8 我兒，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則〔或譯：指教〕； Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. 1:9 因為這要作你頭上的華冠，你項上的金鍊。 They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. 1:10 我兒，惡人若引誘你，你不可隨從。 My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them. 1:11 他們若說：你與我們同去，我們要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害無罪之人； If they say, <<Come along with us; let's lie in wait for someone's blood, let's waylay some harmless soul; 1:12 我們好像陰間，把他們活活吞下；他們如同下坑的人，被我們囫圇吞了； let's swallow them alive, like the grave, 1:12 Hebrew ((Sheol)) and whole, like those who go down to the pit; 1:13 我們必得各樣寶物，將所擄來的，裝滿房屋； we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; 1:14 你與我們大家同分，我們共用一個囊袋； throw in your lot with us, and we will share a common purse>>-- 1:15 我兒，不要與他們同行一道，禁止你腳走他們的路。 my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths; 1:16 因為，他們的腳奔跑行惡；他們急速流人的血， for their feet rush into sin, they are swift to shed blood. 1:17 好像飛鳥，網羅設在眼前仍不躲避。 How useless to spread a net in full view of all the birds! 1:18 這些人埋伏，是為自流己血；蹲伏，是為自害己命。 These men lie in wait for their own blood; they waylay only themselves! 1:19 凡貪戀財利的，所行之路都是如此；這貪戀之心乃奪去得財者之命。 Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it. 1:20 智慧在街市上呼喊，在寬闊處發聲， Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; 1:21 在熱鬧街頭喊叫，在城門口，在城中發出言語， at the head of the noisy streets 1:21 Hebrew; Septuagint ((/ on the tops of the walls)) she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech: 1:22 說：你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧，褻慢人喜歡褻慢，愚頑人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？ <<How long will you simple ones 1:22 The Hebrew word rendered ((simple)) in Proverbs generally denotes one without moral direction and inclined to evil. love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? 1:23 你們當因我的責備回轉；我要將我的靈澆灌你們，將我的話指示你們。 If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you. 1:24 我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會； But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, 1:25 反輕棄我一切的勸戒，不肯受我的責備。 since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, 1:26 你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。 I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you-- 1:27 驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. 1:28 那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。 <<Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me. 1:29 因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華， Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD, 1:30 不聽我的勸戒，藐視我一切的責備， since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, 1:31 所以必吃自結的果子，充滿自設的計謀。 they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. 1:32 愚昧人背道，必殺己身；愚頑人安逸，必害己命。 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; 1:33 惟有聽從我的，必安然居住，得享安靜，不怕災禍。 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.>> 本模組中文化由長島基督福音教會的Jack起始。多次經本人修改，2025年11月由AI協助更改加入朗讀功能，2026年加入搜尋「中、英」字皆可，顯示「黃底紅字」歡迎大家使用！！ 荒漠甘泉五合一■ 中文荒漠甘泉（01月11日）
一月十一日 「你們的神說，你們要安慰，安慰我的百姓。」以賽亞書四十章1節 安慰，供給安慰，這是那位先知所負的使命。世上充滿了需要安慰的人，可是如果你要作一個安慰使者，你自己必須受過訓練，否則不足勝任。這種訓練的代價極大；因為，你必須親身嚐過那種使人流淚流血的苦楚。這樣，你自己的生活就會變成一間病房，在那裡你可以學習安慰的藝術。你自己必須先受傷，當那位大醫替你洗滌、消毒、抹膏、包紮創傷的時候，你就可學習初步的救護。你是不是正在希奇為甚麼你目前會經過一陣特別的憂愁？等到十年以後，你纔會明白。那時候你會遇見許多人受你從前所嚐過的痛苦。你可以見證你從前怎樣和他們同病、怎樣得著醫治；把病情說明了，照著神從前包紮你的方法敷上一點止痛油。那時候，你會明白為甚麼你從前受這許多的苦楚，你也會感謝神所給你的訓練和替你預先儲蓄在你生命中的經歷。 神安慰我們，不是要我們享受安慰，乃是要我們作安慰使者。 ─兆威持 據說搗爛了玫瑰花瓣， 才能提取它的芳馨。 據說雲雀在傷心的時候， 歌聲更加婉轉動聽。 據說在流血和灑涕之時， 顯出友誼與愛情的貞堅。 難道一切珍愛的事物， 都要受此殘酷苦刑？ 一如受傷的小鳥， 可憐地垂下翅膀。 是的！苦難，困辱和坎坷， 為福祉降臨必有的過程。

January 11 "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God." (Isa. 40:1.) ＳTORE up comfort. This was the prophet's mission. The world is full of comfortless hearts, and ere thou art sufficient for this lofty ministry, thou must be trained. And thy training is costly in the extreme; for, to render it perfect, thou too must pass through the same afflictions as are wringing countless hearts of tears and blood. Thus thy own life becomes the hospital ward where thou art taught the Divine art of comfort. Thou art wounded, that in the binding up of thy wounds by the Great Physician, thou mayest learn how to render first aid to the wounded everywhere. Dost thou wonder why thou art passing through some special sorrow? Wait till ten years are passed, and thou wilt find many others afflicted as thou art. Thou wilt tell them how thou hast suffered and hast been comforted; then as the tale is unfolded, and the anodynes applied which once thy God wrapped around thee, in the eager look and the gleam of hope that shall chase the shadow of despair across the soul, thou shalt know why thou wast afflicted, and bless God for the discipline that stored thy life with such a fund of experience and helpfulness. ─Selected. 一月十一日 起初的愛 「然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你把起初的愛心離棄了。」啟示錄二章4節 在啟示錄二章2、3節裡，曾提起了八種情形，來證明以弗所的教會是如何的熱心和慇勤。但有一種情形卻是壞的！主說：「你若不悔改，我就臨到你那裡，把你的燈檯從原處挪去。」這一個壞的情形是甚麼呢？就是「你把起初的愛心離棄了。」 在今日的教會中，我們也發現同樣的缺點。教會能為著真理熱心，也能有持續恆忍的勞苦工作；然而主所最寶貴的，就是對於祂自己那柔細熱切的愛，卻是沒有了。這是一個極其嚴肅的問題，就是一個教會、一個團體，或者一個基督徒，可能在每一件善良的事工上，都有好的榜樣，然而在內室中向著主耶穌那柔細的愛卻失去了。 如果沒有與基督單獨逐日的交通，人所有的繁忙活動，不管他們自己認為多麼滿意，在主自己的眼中看來，乃是毫無價值。 親愛的弟兄姊妹！這個月就是說到在內室裡與基督有愛的交通。所有的一切都是仰仗於這一件事。基督從天降臨乃是以父愛祂的大愛來愛我們，祂因著這個愛，既受苦又受死，為的是要贏得我們的心。除了當我們也回應祂一個深切的個人之愛時，就再沒有甚麼能使祂的愛得著滿足了。 基督認為這個是最首要的，但願我們也以此為首要。許多牧師、傳道和基督的工人，都要羞慚的承認說，不管他們對於主的工作是如何的熱心，他們的禱告生活仍是有缺欠的，這是因為他們離棄了他們起初的愛心，我請求你把這一句話用紙記下來，並且一直記住它：就是不論在內室裡，在所有的工作中，或是在逐日的生活裡，切記「主耶穌的愛必須是一切。」

一月十一日 我們順服神即所以累及他人 「他們就抓住祂，把十字架擱在祂身上。」路加福音廿三章26節 如果我們順服神，累及別人的多，累及自己的少，這種場合自然免不了痛苦。如果我們愛主，順服主必然覺得快樂，是不覺困難的。但是對於那些不愛祂的人們，卻是大大的困難。如果我們順服神，就免不了推翻別人的計劃，而他們用這來嘲弄我們說：「這是基督教嗎？」我們能防止他們這種嘲笑的痛苦；但是，如果我們要順服神，我們絕不可防止，而要付出代價來。 我們因為本性的自尊，就在這一點上有些不願意接受，我們說：「一介不以取諸人。」不過，我們還是一介不取諸人，或是違逆神；我們不能不踏我們的主親身所蹈過的足跡（參路八2─3）。 每當我們說到：自作自受的時候，我們靈性的生命便枯萎了。我們不能如此，因為我們包括在神的大計劃之中了。我們一服從神，別人感受了影響。我們是要在順服神方面有忠心，獨立不依而自謙呢？抑或擇取其他的方向而說我不願意使別人受苦呢？我們可以不服從神而免暫時的痛苦。可是要使我們的主憂傷起來。如果我們順服神，神將要看顧那些因我們順服而感受負擔的人們，我們只要順服而把一切的結果交付神！ 如果你順服神，就得留心，免得有要挾或強迫神照你的意思應付你的情形。

一月十一日 「總要持守，直等到我來。」啟示錄二章25節 有人問一個猶太人，為什麼猶太民族總懂得致富之道？這猶太人說：「唉！我們不見得比別人賺得多，但是我們持守的比別人多。」親愛的朋友，讓我們在這個世代慎防偷竊屬靈財富的扒手，及避免屬靈的產物流失。讓我們不失去已經賺到的，而且確定我們能得著滿足的賞賜(約貳8)。在每個日子裡，讓我們在永恆的儲蓄銀行裡存下屬天的恩惠及勝利，而且知道真實、永恆的至寶不時地增多我們永恆的財富。 這些財富也許很少，但若是我們把神所賜的都存在祂的裡面，並在祂看顧下持守；當萬物的結局到時，當我們看到所善用一生生命中謹慎累積下來的財寶時，我們會非常驚訝。神對那些把財富存在祂裡面的人，總是會投資更多的在這些人身上並多加給他們。 時光的飛逝，因著這些燦爛的歲月而顯得格外珍貴。願神真是幫助我們能將每件事做到最好。
