俄巴底亞書, 1章

^1:1 俄巴底亞得了耶和華的默示。論以東說：我從耶和華那裏聽見信息，並有使者被差往列國去，說：起來吧，一同起來與以東爭戰！ The vision of Obadiah.This is what the Sovereign LORD says about Edom-- We have heard a message from the LORD: An envoy was sent to the nations to say, <<Rise, and let us go against her for battle>>--
^1:2 我使你─以東在列國中為最小的，被人大大藐視。 <<See, I will make you small among the nations; you will be utterly despised.
^1:3 住在山穴中、居所在高處的啊，你因狂傲自欺，心裏說：誰能將我拉下地去呢？ The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks :3 Or ((of Sela)) and make your home on the heights, you who say to yourself, <Who can bring me down to the ground?>
^1:4 你雖如大鷹高飛，在星宿之間搭窩，我必從那裏拉下你來。這是耶和華說的。 Though you soar like the eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down,>> r declares the LORD.
^1:5 盜賊若來在你那裏，或強盜夜間而來─你何竟被剪除─豈不偷竊直到夠了呢？摘葡萄的若來到你那裏，豈不剩下些葡萄呢？ <<If thieves came to you, if robbers in the night-- Oh, what a disaster awaits you-- would they not steal only as much as they wanted? If grape pickers came to you, would they not leave a few grapes?
^1:6 以掃的隱密處何竟被搜尋？他隱藏的寶物何竟被查出？ But how Esau will be ransacked, his hidden treasures pillaged!
^1:7 與你結盟的都送你上路，直到交界；與你和好的欺騙你，且勝過你；與你一同吃飯的設下網羅陷害你；在你心裏毫無聰明。 All your allies will force you to the border; your friends will deceive and overpower you; those who eat your bread will set a trap for you, :7 The meaning of the Hebrew for this clause is uncertain. but you will not detect it.
^1:8 耶和華說：到那日，我豈不從以東除滅智慧人？從以掃山除滅聰明人？ <<In that day,>> declares the LORD, <<will I not destroy the wise men of Edom, men of understanding in the mountains of Esau?
^1:9 提幔哪，你的勇士必驚惶，甚至以掃山的人都被殺戮剪除。 Your warriors, O Teman, will be terrified, and everyone in Esau's mountains will be cut down in the slaughter.
^1:10 因你向兄弟雅各行強暴，羞愧必遮蓋你，你也必永遠斷絕。 Because of the violence against your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame; you will be destroyed forever.
^1:11 當外人擄掠雅各的財物，外邦人進入他的城門，為耶路撒冷拈鬮的日子，你竟站在一旁，像與他們同夥。 On the day you stood aloof while strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.
^1:12 你兄弟遭難的日子，你不當瞪眼看著；猶大人被滅的日子，你不當因此歡樂；他們遭難的日子，你不當說狂傲的話。 You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.
^1:13 我民遭災的日子，你不當進他們的城門；他們遭災的日子，你不當瞪眼看著他們受苦；他們遭災的日子，你不當伸手搶他們的財物； You should not march through the gates of my people in the day of their disaster, nor look down on them in their calamity in the day of their disaster, nor seize their wealth in the day of their disaster.
^1:14 你不當站在岔路口剪除他們中間逃脫的；他們遭難的日子，你不當將他們剩下的人交付仇敵。 You should not wait at the crossroads to cut down their fugitives, nor hand over their survivors in the day of their trouble.
^1:15 耶和華降罰的日子臨近萬國。你怎樣行，他也必照樣向你行；你的報應必歸到你頭上。 <<The day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.
^1:16 你們猶大人在我聖山怎樣喝了苦杯，萬國也必照樣常常地喝；且喝且咽，他們就歸於無有。 Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been.
^1:17 在錫安山必有逃脫的人，那山也必成聖；雅各家必得原有的產業。 But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will possess its inheritance.
^1:18 雅各家必成為大火；約瑟家必為火焰；以掃家必如碎秸；火必將他燒著吞滅。以掃家必無餘剩的。這是耶和華說的。 The house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame; the house of Esau will be stubble, and they will set it on fire and consume it. There will be no survivors from the house of Esau.>> r The LORD has spoken.
^1:19 南地的人必得以掃山；高原的人必得非利士地，也得以法蓮地和撒馬利亞地；便雅憫人必得基列。 People from the Negev will occupy the mountains of Esau, and people from the foothills will possess the land of the Philistines. They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, and Benjamin will possess Gilead.
^1:20 在迦南人中被擄的以色列眾人必得地直到撒勒法；在西法拉中被擄的耶路撒冷人必得南地的城邑。 This company of Israelite exiles who are in Canaan will possess (((the land))) as far as Zarephath; the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the towns of the Negev.
^1:21 必有拯救者上到錫安山，審判以掃山；國度就歸耶和華了。 Deliverers will go up on :21 Or ((from)) Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the LORD's.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

十月十八日「你要的確知道，你的後裔必寄居別人的地……那地的人要苦待他們四百年……後來他們必帶著許多財物，從那裡出來。」創世記十五章13、14節神給我們的祝福中間，有兩個是我們所最不歡迎的：一個是遲延，一個是苦難。神給亞伯蘭本身的一個誓約尚未實現，現在又給他的後裔一個同樣彷彿不可忍耐的誓約。但是無論如何，這些誓約雖然遲延，至終都得到了實現：以色列人出埃及的時候，果然「把埃及人的財物奪去了。」（出十二36）神常用遲延和苦難來試驗我們；但是在這一切中間卻站著神的誓約─—祂在基督裡與我們所立的新約。所以讓我們為著遲延和苦難來讚美祂罷，因為這是祂給我們的祝福。　　　　　　　　　　─崔倫保多年來你從苦痛中發生的禱告，　是不是至今還沒有得到回音？信心在消沈，希望在幻滅嗎？　你可是灰心得淚下沿襟？莫說天父未曾聽到你的祈禱，　總有一天，你期望的音信必然降臨。還沒有回音？莫說未蒙接受；　也許你的事還沒有全部完工。在你首次祈禱時就動手，　神作諸事向來有始有終。只要你繼續虔誠崇拜，　某時某地你必見祂榮光。還沒有回音？信心決不會徒勞，　它堅定安穩，如在磐石植根；在最響的霹靂之下不喪膽，　在狂風暴雨裏顯出堅貞，它知道萬能的神已聽見它祈禱，　高喊道：某時某地，這事必成。　　　　　　　　　　─布朗妮

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

October 18 "Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs;...they shall afflict them four hundred years;... and afterward they shall come out with great substance."(Gen. 15:13-14) 　ＡN assured part of God's pledged blessing to us in delay and suffering. A delay in Abram's own lifetime that seemed to put God's pledge beyond fulfillment was followed by seemingly unendurable delay of Abram's descendants. But it was only a delay: they "came out with great substance." The pledge was redeemed. 　God is going to test me with delays; and with the delays will come suffering, but through it all stands God's pledge: His new covenant with me in Christ, and His inviolable promise of every lesser blessing that I need. The delay and the suffering are part of the promised blessing; let me praise Him for them today; and let me wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen my Heart. 　　　　　　　　　　－G. G. The work began when first your prayer was uttered, And God will finish what He has begun. If you will keep the incense burning there, His glory you shall see sometime, somewhere. Unanswered yet? ■ 永活之泉（10月18日）

十月十八日　神的羔羊「神的羔羊是以父神所賜永遠的慈愛和溫柔為其心志，而自己以復活將溫柔和慈愛賜給已墮落的人類；當我們思想到這位升到高天的羔羊，仍離我們如此的近，從天降在我們中間卻仍舊在天，是有何等的安慰。」哦！我能與神和好是何等的美！一旦治死老我是何其喜樂！聖化的生活，又是何其有福！唯有您能使我除掉罪惡，無論往何處去都帶領管理我；您能除去老我，領我歸向神，您有天地最大的權柄能力，除有您的啟示我無法放任我的思想，及其語文的能力，或其他為自己安排的事，而這種生活的記號就是心靈得安息。污穢而勞苦的老我得自由，自然的活出溫柔、謙卑、忍耐與神的靈和好，喜樂的等待新郎，除了參與羔羊娶妻的婚宴別無所盼。這個婚宴象徵神人有永遠的合一，換句話說就是愛的靈在我們心靈中產生，我們可得到神所賜的平安和喜樂，而吹滅未得平安喜樂前有的東西。使你持守具有溫柔、謙卑、忍耐和與神和好的方法，就是你必須讓自己的老我實在地治死，而得到更大的榮光，在每件事上都使自己完全的死，並降服在羔羊溫柔的靈之下。「神的羔羊有能力使我們脫離墮落的光，具有祂溫柔而謙卑的德性。」讓我們傾聽羔羊的呼喚：「你們要學我的樣式，我心柔和謙卑。」神是何等高舉祂的謙卑，讓我們脫去老舊的生活，傚法祂謙卑柔和的心，我們的心自然可得享安息。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月18日）

十月十八日　宣教師靈修的鎖鑰「因他們是為主的名出外。」約翰三書7節我們的主告訴我們對於祂的愛，將如何表現出來。「你愛我麼？」「你能餧養我的羊。」──把你自己與我在別人裡面的興趣同化起來，不是把我與你在別人裡面的興趣同化起來。哥林多前書十三章4—8節道出了這種愛的性質，這就是神的愛自身的表現。我愛耶穌的測驗，是實際的，其餘的都是情感的胡言。忠於耶穌基督，是聖靈在我裡面所作成的救贖工作。這聖靈將神的愛，散開在我心裡，而那愛藉著我與別人接贖時發生有效的工作。從理性方面看，雖然可以否認祂，說祂像朝霧一樣無力，然而我依舊忠於祂的名。宣教師靈修的鎖鑰，是除了我們的主以外，不與任何人發生連結。我們的主在外表上，雖是沒有離開事物，在平常事物中往往來來；祂的內心卻是朝向神。我們表面所離避的事，反而內部有很重要連的結。宣教師的忠誠，是保持他的心靈朝向主耶穌基督的本性。我們的主所差出從事祂的事業的男女，是平常的資材，不過加上從聖靈所得來的，對於祂的忠心。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月18日）

十月十八日「並且被造的，沒有一樣在祂面前不顯然的；原來萬物在那與我們有關係的主眼前，都是赤露敞開的。」希伯來書四章13節「赤露敞開」這幾個字，使我們很容易聯想到在競技場上的運動員。雖然他竭力爭戰，但最後卻敗在對手的腳下。他不僅手上失去了武器，更是處於完全無助的狀態下。他躺在地上，既不能再攻擊，甚至手都提不起來。他的情況真可謂赤露敞開，既無武器，又無能力。那時他只有在對手的腳下求情了。神要我們來到祂面前也是赤露敞開的，因為那時我們會停止自己的掙扎、奮鬥、改進，而完全無助地向神求恩典。這其實也是罪人惟一的希望，因為惟有在我們來到祂腳前求恩典時，耶穌才能舉起我們，賜給我們所期待的完備救恩。願意有更深更高屬靈生命的基督徒，必須得先承認自己是無價值、無助的。並且願意在耶穌腳前赤露敞開地躺下。
