1:1 亞伯拉罕的後裔,大衛的子孫〔後裔,子孫:原文是兒子;下同〕耶穌基督的家譜: A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:
1:2 亞伯拉罕生以撒;以撒生雅各;雅各生猶大和他的弟兄; Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
1:3 猶大從她瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉;法勒斯生希斯崙;希斯崙生亞蘭; Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram,
1:4 亞蘭生亞米拿達;亞米拿達生拿順;拿順生撒門; Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon,
1:5 撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯;波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得;俄備得生耶西; Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,
1:6 耶西生大衛王。大衛從烏利亞的妻子生所羅門; and Jesse the father of King David.David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah's wife,
1:7 所羅門生羅波安;羅波安生亞比雅;亞比雅生亞撒; Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,
1:8 亞撒生約沙法;約沙法生約蘭;約蘭生烏西雅; Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram, Jehoram the father of Uzziah,
1:9 烏西雅生約坦;約坦生亞哈斯;亞哈斯生希西家; Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,
1:10 希西家生瑪拿西;瑪拿西生亞們;亞們生約西亞; Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah,
1:11 百姓被遷到巴比倫的時候,約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄。 and Josiah the father of Jeconiah (\f1 1:11 That is, Jehoiachin; also in verse 12) and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.
1:12 遷到巴比倫以後,耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵;撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯; After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,
1:13 所羅巴伯生亞比玉;亞比玉生以利亞敬;以利亞敬生亞所; Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
1:14 亞所生撒督;撒督生亞金;亞金生以律; Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Eliud,
1:15 以律生以利亞撒;以利亞撒生馬但;馬但生雅各; Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,
1:16 雅各生約瑟,就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
1:17 這樣,從亞伯拉罕到大衛共有十四代;從大衛到遷至巴比倫的時候也有十四代;從遷至巴比倫的時候到基督又有十四代。 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ. (\f2 1:17 Or|i Messiah|d. <<The Christ>> (Greek) and <<the Messiah>>(Hebrew) both mean <<the Anointed One.>>)
1:18 耶穌基督降生的事記在下面:他母親馬利亞巳經許配了約瑟,還沒有迎娶,馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
1:19 她丈夫約瑟是個義人,不願意明明地羞辱她,想要暗暗地把她休了。 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
1:20 正思念這事的時候,有主的使者向他夢中顯現,說:「大衛的子孫約瑟,不要怕!只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來,因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, <<Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
1:21 她將要生一個兒子,你要給他起名叫耶穌,因他要將自己的百姓從罪惡裏救出來。」 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, (\f3 1:21 |iJesus|d is the Greek form of|i Joshua|d, which means|i the Lord saves|d.) because he will save his people from their sins.>>
1:22 這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話, All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
1:23 說:「必有童女懷孕生子;人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」(以馬內利翻出來就是「 神與我們同在」。) <<The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel>>(\f4 1:23 Isaiah 7:14)--which means, <<God with us.>>
1:24 約瑟醒了,起來,就遵著主使者的吩咐把妻子娶過來; When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
1:25 只是沒有和她同房,等她生了兒子〔有古卷:等她生了頭胎的兒子〕,就給他起名叫耶穌。 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

六月一日 「你們要使疲乏人得安息,這樣的安息,纔得舒暢。」以賽亞書廿八章12節(直譯) 為甚麼你要罣慮呢?你的罣慮有甚麼用處呢?你現在好似一艘大船上的乘客,你不會駕駛;就是船主—─主耶穌—─把你放在舵邊,你也不會把它;你連將帆捲起來也不會;為甚麼你要擔心好像你是船主、舵工一般呢?哦,安息罷,主耶穌是船主! 你看見波浪翻騰,船身顛簸,就以為船主不在船上麼?不,祂始終在你的左右,波浪就是祂的馬車,馬正飛奔,可是它們都有羈勒,祂握著韁繩,照祂的意志駕駛著。耶和華是你的船長,祗要信,不要怕,願你平安。           ─司布真 靈魂哪, 今夜要安心睡覺, 神的海上正沸騰著大風暴, 神自會安排, 你只管安心睡覺。 靈魂哪, 今夜要安心睡覺, 神的手會把惡魔的誘惑除掉, 神自會安排, 你只管安心睡覺。 靈魂哪, 今夜要安心睡覺, 神的愛護在夜間特別週到, 神自會安排, 你只管安心睡覺。 靈魂哪, 今夜要安心睡覺, 神的天堂, 會給哭泣者帶來歡笑, 神自會安排, 你只管安心睡覺。 我懇求你,不要為沮喪留地步。這是一個很危險的引誘一個精巧的引誘。沮喪使你的心收縮、枯萎,以致不能接受恩典。它把事情擴大,又描上凶險的顏色,使你覺得擔子太重太難。請記得,神在你身上的計劃,和實現這些計劃的方法,都是絕頂智慧的。           ─蓋恩夫人

June 1 "This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing." (Isa. 28:12.)  WHY dost thou worry thyself? What use can thy fretting serve? Thou art on board a vessel which thou couldst not steer even if the great Captain put thee at the helm, of which thou couldst not so much as reef a sail, yet thou worriest as if thou wert captain and helmsman. Oh, be quiet; God is Master!  Dost thou think that all this din and hurly-burly that is abroad betokens that God has left his throne?  No, man, His coursers rush furiously on, and His chariot is the storm; but there is a bit between their jaws, and he holds the reins, and guides them as He wills! Jehovah is Master yet; believe it; peace be unto thee! be not afraid.            ─C. H. Spurgeon. "Tonight, my soul, be still and sleep; The storms are raging on God's deep─ God's deep, not thine; be still and sleep. ■ 永活之泉(06月01日)
六月一日 施恩寶座 「我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下、滄海裏和天地間一切所有被造之物都說:『但願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、權勢都歸給坐寶座的和羔羊,直到永永遠遠。』」啟示錄五章13節 在啟示錄四、五兩章裏,我們可以看到造物主的寶座和施恩寶座之間的不同。在第四章,約翰告訴我們他所看的是「有一個寶座安置在天上,又有一位坐在寶座上,看那坐著的好像碧玉和紅寶石。」(2─3)除了用閃爍發光的寶石外,並無別的可以形容這位坐寶座的;寶座周圍有四個活物「他們晝夜不住的說:聖哉、聖哉、聖哉,主神是昔在、今在,以後永在的全能者。」(8)坐在寶座廿四個座位的長老們此時也在祂面前俯伏敬拜說:「我們的主,我們的神,是配得榮耀、尊貴、權柄的,因為您創造了萬物,並且萬物是因您的旨意被創造而有的。」(11),這兒我們看到那全能造物主的寶座! 第五章我們看到「寶座與四活物並長老之中有羔羊站立,像是被殺過的……四活物和廿四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前……他們唱新歌,說:您配拿書卷,配揭開七印,因為您曾被殺,用自己的血從各族、各方、各民、各國中買了人來,叫他們歸於神。」(6─9)然後成千成萬的天使大聲喊道:「曾被殺的羔羊是配得權柄、豐富、智慧、能力、尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的。……所有被造之物都說:但願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、權勢,都歸坐寶座的和羔羊,直到永永遠遠!」(11─13) 今天我們看到施恩寶座以及神和羔羊的寶座,也聽到由天堂詩班唱出施恩寶座以及神和羔羊的頌歌。我的靈魂啊!當你靠近施恩寶座時,你曾想過耶穌為了設此寶座,付出了何等大的代價;當你需要的時候,你也確知可從寶座支取恩典和幫助。故你當俯伏敬拜!親愛的讀者,請你今天抽點時間來到主面前,用最敬虔的心靈,向在施恩寶座上的主耶穌基督敬拜。

六月一日 難答覆的問題 「人子啊,這些骸骨能復活麼?」以西結書卅七章3節 那個罪人能變成一個聖徒麼?那種彎曲的生命能改成正直的麼?這只有一種答覆:「主啊,您知道,我不知道」。切不要用宗教式的口氣來說:「啊,是的,多唸聖經,多多祈禱,就能辦到」。 做事情比依靠神容易得多;我們錯把驚心動魄的感覺作了靈感,這就是替神作工的人多,與祂同工的人少的緣故。我們寧願替神作工,不願承其旨意。我真的相信神要做我所不能做的事麼?神不曾行在我身上的事,我不信祂行在別人身上。我真的經驗到神能力之奇特,使我對於所見的人從不感覺我望麼?我的靈性工作在我裡面成功了麼?驚心動魄之感的深度,就是自身靈性經驗缺乏的深度。 「我的民哪,我必開你的墳墓」。當神指示你的人性是怎樣與祂不同,祂只有藉著你自己來指示。如果神的靈,叫你覺悟你脫離了神的恩典,你的壞比犯了法的人更壞,我的「墳墓」曾被神揭開,使我知道在我裡面(在我肉身裡)沒有好的東西。神的靈繼續的啟示我們那未曾受過祂恩惠的人性是怎樣的。

六月一日 「使律法的義,成就在我們這不隨從肉體,只隨從聖靈的人身上」羅馬書八章4節 當你說:「我不可能會變好,反正沒有人是完美的,我就算試著變好也徒勞無益」時,你知道你犯了什麼錯嗎?不錯,沒有人是完美的,但我不同意我們應該停止嘗試改變。因為神的義是為每個人預備的。 雖然我相信神的義能赦免我們的罪,但這並非我惟一的意思,我相信神的義能整個改變你。因為當祂的義進入到你的靈魂中,祂能與你的全人合而為一。那時,基督不僅成為你的生命、聖潔,並且使你感覺祂所感覺的、思想祂所思想的、愛祂所愛的、恨祂所恨的,並擁有祂聖潔的性格。總之,神的義是使律法的義成就在我們這不隨從肉體,只隨從聖靈的人身上。我們無法靠自己稱義,只能靠祂的義進入我們的生命中。 當我們接受神時,不僅是我們的手腳會與祂的步驟和諧。我們的直覺、心願和性格都會與祂的一致。你接受了祂嗎?如果今天你打開你的心門,祂會來到你的心中,並且將祂的義完全實現在你的生命中。
