^1:1 亞伯拉罕的後裔，大衛的子孫〔後裔，子孫：原文是兒子；下同〕耶穌基督的家譜： A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:
^1:2 亞伯拉罕生以撒；以撒生雅各；雅各生猶大和他的弟兄； Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

^1:11 百姓被遷到巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄。 and Josiah the father of Jeconiah (\f1 1:11 That is, Jehoiachin; also in verse 12) and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.
^1:12 遷到巴比倫以後，耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵；撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯； After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,
^1:13 所羅巴伯生亞比玉；亞比玉生以利亞敬；以利亞敬生亞所； Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
^1:14 亞所生撒督；撒督生亞金；亞金生以律； Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Eliud,
^1:15 以律生以利亞撒；以利亞撒生馬但；馬但生雅各； Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,
^1:16 雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
^1:17 這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衛共有十四代；從大衛到遷至巴比倫的時候也有十四代；從遷至巴比倫的時候到基督又有十四代。 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ. ^1:18 耶穌基督降生的事記在下面：他母親馬利亞巳經許配了約瑟，還沒有迎娶，馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
^1:19 她丈夫約瑟是個義人，不願意明明地羞辱她，想要暗暗地把她休了。 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
^1:20 正思念這事的時候，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕！只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, <<Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
^1:21 她將要生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫耶穌，因他要將自己的百姓從罪惡裏救出來。」 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, (\f3 1:21 |iJesus|d is the Greek form of|i Joshua|d, which means|i the Lord saves|d.) because he will save his people from their sins.>>
^1:22 這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話， All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
^1:23 說：「必有童女懷孕生子；人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利翻出來就是「　神與我們同在」。） <<The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel>>(\f4 1:23 Isaiah 7:14)--which means, <<God with us.>>
^1:24 約瑟醒了，起來，就遵著主使者的吩咐把妻子娶過來； When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
^1:25 只是沒有和她同房，等她生了兒子〔有古卷：等她生了頭胎的兒子〕，就給他起名叫耶穌。 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

十月十八日「你要的確知道，你的後裔必寄居別人的地……那地的人要苦待他們四百年……後來他們必帶著許多財物，從那裡出來。」創世記十五章13、14節神給我們的祝福中間，有兩個是我們所最不歡迎的：一個是遲延，一個是苦難。神給亞伯蘭本身的一個誓約尚未實現，現在又給他的後裔一個同樣彷彿不可忍耐的誓約。但是無論如何，這些誓約雖然遲延，至終都得到了實現：以色列人出埃及的時候，果然「把埃及人的財物奪去了。」（出十二36）神常用遲延和苦難來試驗我們；但是在這一切中間卻站著神的誓約─—祂在基督裡與我們所立的新約。所以讓我們為著遲延和苦難來讚美祂罷，因為這是祂給我們的祝福。　　　　　　　　　　─崔倫保多年來你從苦痛中發生的禱告，　是不是至今還沒有得到回音？信心在消沈，希望在幻滅嗎？　你可是灰心得淚下沿襟？莫說天父未曾聽到你的祈禱，　總有一天，你期望的音信必然降臨。還沒有回音？莫說未蒙接受；　也許你的事還沒有全部完工。在你首次祈禱時就動手，　神作諸事向來有始有終。只要你繼續虔誠崇拜，　某時某地你必見祂榮光。還沒有回音？信心決不會徒勞，　它堅定安穩，如在磐石植根；在最響的霹靂之下不喪膽，　在狂風暴雨裏顯出堅貞，它知道萬能的神已聽見它祈禱，　高喊道：某時某地，這事必成。　　　　　　　　　　─布朗妮

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

October 18 "Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs;...they shall afflict them four hundred years;... and afterward they shall come out with great substance."(Gen. 15:13-14) 　ＡN assured part of God's pledged blessing to us in delay and suffering. A delay in Abram's own lifetime that seemed to put God's pledge beyond fulfillment was followed by seemingly unendurable delay of Abram's descendants. But it was only a delay: they "came out with great substance." The pledge was redeemed. 　God is going to test me with delays; and with the delays will come suffering, but through it all stands God's pledge: His new covenant with me in Christ, and His inviolable promise of every lesser blessing that I need. The delay and the suffering are part of the promised blessing; let me praise Him for them today; and let me wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen my Heart. 　　　　　　　　　　－G. G. ■ 永活之泉（10月18日）

十月十八日　神的羔羊「神的羔羊是以父神所賜永遠的慈愛和溫柔為其心志，而自己以復活將溫柔和慈愛賜給已墮落的人類；當我們思想到這位升到高天的羔羊，仍離我們如此的近，從天降在我們中間卻仍舊在天，是有何等的安慰。」哦！我能與神和好是何等的美！一旦治死老我是何其喜樂！聖化的生活，又是何其有福！唯有您能使我除掉罪惡，無論往何處去都帶領管理我；您能除去老我，領我歸向神，您有天地最大的權柄能力，除有您的啟示我無法放任我的思想，及其語文的能力，或其他為自己安排的事，而這種生活的記號就是心靈得安息。污穢而勞苦的老我得自由，自然的活出溫柔、謙卑、忍耐與神的靈和好，喜樂的等待新郎，除了參與羔羊娶妻的婚宴別無所盼。這個婚宴象徵神人有永遠的合一，換句話說就是愛的靈在我們心靈中產生，我們可得到神所賜的平安和喜樂，而吹滅未得平安喜樂前有的東西。使你持守具有溫柔、謙卑、忍耐和與神和好的方法，就是你必須讓自己的老我實在地治死，而得到更大的榮光，在每件事上都使自己完全的死，並降服在羔羊溫柔的靈之下。「神的羔羊有能力使我們脫離墮落的光，具有祂溫柔而謙卑的德性。」讓我們傾聽羔羊的呼喚：「你們要學我的樣式，我心柔和謙卑。」神是何等高舉祂的謙卑，讓我們脫去老舊的生活，傚法祂謙卑柔和的心，我們的心自然可得享安息。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月18日）

十月十八日　宣教師靈修的鎖鑰「因他們是為主的名出外。」約翰三書7節我們的主告訴我們對於祂的愛，將如何表現出來。「你愛我麼？」「你能餧養我的羊。」──把你自己與我在別人裡面的興趣同化起來，不是把我與你在別人裡面的興趣同化起來。哥林多前書十三章4—8節道出了這種愛的性質，這就是神的愛自身的表現。我愛耶穌的測驗，是實際的，其餘的都是情感的胡言。忠於耶穌基督，是聖靈在我裡面所作成的救贖工作。這聖靈將神的愛，散開在我心裡，而那愛藉著我與別人接贖時發生有效的工作。從理性方面看，雖然可以否認祂，說祂像朝霧一樣無力，然而我依舊忠於祂的名。宣教師靈修的鎖鑰，是除了我們的主以外，不與任何人發生連結。我們的主在外表上，雖是沒有離開事物，在平常事物中往往來來；祂的內心卻是朝向神。我們表面所離避的事，反而內部有很重要連的結。宣教師的忠誠，是保持他的心靈朝向主耶穌基督的本性。我們的主所差出從事祂的事業的男女，是平常的資材，不過加上從聖靈所得來的，對於祂的忠心。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月18日）

十月十八日「並且被造的，沒有一樣在祂面前不顯然的；原來萬物在那與我們有關係的主眼前，都是赤露敞開的。」希伯來書四章13節「赤露敞開」這幾個字，使我們很容易聯想到在競技場上的運動員。雖然他竭力爭戰，但最後卻敗在對手的腳下。他不僅手上失去了武器，更是處於完全無助的狀態下。他躺在地上，既不能再攻擊，甚至手都提不起來。他的情況真可謂赤露敞開，既無武器，又無能力。那時他只有在對手的腳下求情了。神要我們來到祂面前也是赤露敞開的，因為那時我們會停止自己的掙扎、奮鬥、改進，而完全無助地向神求恩典。這其實也是罪人惟一的希望，因為惟有在我們來到祂腳前求恩典時，耶穌才能舉起我們，賜給我們所期待的完備救恩。願意有更深更高屬靈生命的基督徒，必須得先承認自己是無價值、無助的。並且願意在耶穌腳前赤露敞開地躺下。
