1:1 亞伯拉罕的後裔,大衛的子孫〔後裔,子孫:原文是兒子;下同〕耶穌基督的家譜: A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:
1:2 亞伯拉罕生以撒;以撒生雅各;雅各生猶大和他的弟兄; Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
1:3 猶大從她瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉;法勒斯生希斯崙;希斯崙生亞蘭; Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram,
1:4 亞蘭生亞米拿達;亞米拿達生拿順;拿順生撒門; Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon,
1:5 撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯;波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得;俄備得生耶西; Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,
1:6 耶西生大衛王。大衛從烏利亞的妻子生所羅門; and Jesse the father of King David.David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah's wife,
1:7 所羅門生羅波安;羅波安生亞比雅;亞比雅生亞撒; Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,
1:8 亞撒生約沙法;約沙法生約蘭;約蘭生烏西雅; Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram, Jehoram the father of Uzziah,
1:9 烏西雅生約坦;約坦生亞哈斯;亞哈斯生希西家; Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,
1:10 希西家生瑪拿西;瑪拿西生亞們;亞們生約西亞; Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah,
1:11 百姓被遷到巴比倫的時候,約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄。 and Josiah the father of Jeconiah (\f1 1:11 That is, Jehoiachin; also in verse 12) and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.
1:12 遷到巴比倫以後,耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵;撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯; After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,
1:13 所羅巴伯生亞比玉;亞比玉生以利亞敬;以利亞敬生亞所; Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
1:14 亞所生撒督;撒督生亞金;亞金生以律; Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Eliud,
1:15 以律生以利亞撒;以利亞撒生馬但;馬但生雅各; Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,
1:16 雅各生約瑟,就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
1:17 這樣,從亞伯拉罕到大衛共有十四代;從大衛到遷至巴比倫的時候也有十四代;從遷至巴比倫的時候到基督又有十四代。 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ. (\f2 1:17 Or|i Messiah|d. <<The Christ>> (Greek) and <<the Messiah>>(Hebrew) both mean <<the Anointed One.>>)
1:18 耶穌基督降生的事記在下面:他母親馬利亞巳經許配了約瑟,還沒有迎娶,馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
1:19 她丈夫約瑟是個義人,不願意明明地羞辱她,想要暗暗地把她休了。 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
1:20 正思念這事的時候,有主的使者向他夢中顯現,說:「大衛的子孫約瑟,不要怕!只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來,因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, <<Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
1:21 她將要生一個兒子,你要給他起名叫耶穌,因他要將自己的百姓從罪惡裏救出來。」 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, (\f3 1:21 |iJesus|d is the Greek form of|i Joshua|d, which means|i the Lord saves|d.) because he will save his people from their sins.>>
1:22 這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話, All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
1:23 說:「必有童女懷孕生子;人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」(以馬內利翻出來就是「 神與我們同在」。) <<The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel>>(\f4 1:23 Isaiah 7:14)--which means, <<God with us.>>
1:24 約瑟醒了,起來,就遵著主使者的吩咐把妻子娶過來; When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
1:25 只是沒有和她同房,等她生了兒子〔有古卷:等她生了頭胎的兒子〕,就給他起名叫耶穌。 But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉(03月15日)
三月十五日 「你這蟲雅各……不要害怕……我要使你成為有快齒打糧的新器具。」以賽亞書四一章14、15節(直譯) 蟲與快齒的器具怎樣可以相比呢?蟲是多麼軟弱,給我們石頭或車輪一壓,就會壓得稀爛;快齒的器具是多麼堅強;甚至能「把山嶺打得粉碎,使岡陵如同糠秕。」(賽四一15)但是全能的神能使蟲成為有快齒的器具。神能使個人或民族,藉著祂的靈,從蟲的軟弱到快齒器具的剛強,在歷史上留著很深的痕跡。 所以我們這些蟲不要喪膽。全能的神能使我們在四圍患難的環境中變成剛強。靠著祂的力量,我們能叫我們的環境向我們屈服,向我們進貢。我們甚至能隨便抓住一個黑色的失望,把牠劈開來,從其中抽出恩典的寶石來。神也能給我們像鐵那般的意志,所有的難處都能迎刃而解,猶如堅土遇到鐵犁那樣鬆散。神既說:「我要使你……」祂豈會不如此行呢?           ─喬懷德 基督建造祂的國度,都是用地上破碎的東西建造的。人們所要的是強健的、成功的、勝利的、不碎的;但是神所要的乃是在地上不成功的、失敗的、傷心的、軟弱的。天上充滿著地上破碎的生命,沒有一根壓傷的蘆葦是基督所不能恢復的。祂能使一個被痛苦、憂愁所壓傷的生命,變成一架彈出讚美的音樂來的古琴。祂能把地上的失敗變成天上的榮耀。           ─密勒 跟從我,我要範鑄你們, 有力地傳佈我的福音, 成為流出慈恩的溝洫, 使你們成為有用之人。 跟從我, 我要範鑄你們, 脫胎換骨, 重新做人, 有信, 有愛, 忠實虔誠, 不愧為神的子民。
■ 英文荒漠甘泉(03月15日)
March 15  "Fear not, thou worm Jacob....I will make thee a threshing instrument with teeth." (Isa. 41:14, 15.)  COULD any two things be in greater contrast than a worm and an instrument with teeth? The worm is delicate, bruised by a stone, crushed beneath the passing wheel; an instrument with teeth can break and not be broken; it can grave its mark upon the rock. And the mighty God can convert the one into the other. He can take a man or a nation, who has all the impotence of the worm, and by the invigoration of His own Spirit, He can endow with strength by which a noble mark is left upon the history of the time.  And so the "worm" may take heart. The mighty God can make us stronger than our circumstances. He can bend them all to our good. In God's strengthwe can make them all pay tribute to our souls. We can even take hold of a black disappointment, break it open, and extract some jewel of grace. When God gives us wills like iron, we can drive through difficulties as the iron share cuts through the toughest soil. "I will make thee," and shall He not do it?            ─Dr. Jowett.  Christ is building His kingdom with earth's broken things. Men want only the strong, the successful, the victorious, the unbroken, in building their kingdoms; but God is the God of the unsuccessful, of those who have failed. Heaven is filling with earth's broken lives, and there is no bruised reed that Christ cannot take and restore to glorious blessedness and beauty. He can take the life crushed by pain or sorrow and make it into a harp whose music shall be all praise. he can lift earth's saddest failure up to heaven's glory.            ─J. R. Miller. ■ 永活之泉(03月15日)
三月十五日 保羅為代禱者 「我在父面前屈膝,……藉著祂的靈,叫你們心裡的力量剛強起來。」以弗所書三章14—16節 我們每逢想到保羅,就說他是偉大的傳道人、佈道家、大作家,及「格外勞苦」的大使徒;然而,我們卻不夠認識他是一位代禱者。他藉著祈求、尋求,並得著生活的能力,且能為他所服事的教會代求,帶下祝福。 我們看他上面寫給以弗所人的話,再想想他寫給帖撒羅尼迦人的話:「我們晝夜切切地祈求,以……補滿你們信心的不足;好使你們……心裡堅固,成為聖潔,無可責備。」(帖三10—13)在他寫給羅馬人書中說:「我怎樣不住的題到你們,在禱告之間。」(羅一9)寫給腓立比人書中說:「每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候,常是歡歡喜喜的祈求。」還有他寫給歌羅西人說:「我們為你們不住的禱告、祈求……」「我願意你們曉得,我為你們是何等盡心竭力。」(西一9;二1)保羅晝夜在神面前為他們呼籲,求聖靈的光與能力進入他們心內。他深信他的代求是大有功效的,照樣地,他也相信他們的代求會帶給他祝福。「我勸你們與我一同竭力,為我祈求神。」(羅十五30)「神現在仍要救我們……你們以祈禱幫助我們。」(林後一10—11)「也為我祈求,使我能放膽開口……」(弗六18—19;西四3;帖後三1)「藉著你們的禱告,終必叫我得救。」(腓一19) 神的僕人與百姓間的關係,完全基於同心合意恆切地禱告。他們之間的關係完全是屬天的、屬靈的、神聖的,只有靠恆切的禱告來維持。唯有當神的僕人與百姓能醒悟過來,知道聖靈的權能與祝福有賴於他們同心合意恆切的禱告時,教會才能真實地明白,甚麼是五旬節使徒時期的教會。 禱告: 永遠可稱頌的父啊,我們俯伏懇求您施恩,恢復教會懇求與代禱的靈——奉主的名。阿們。
■ 中文屬天日子(03月15日)
三月十五日 膽怯的訓練 「跟從的人也害怕。」馬可福音十章32節 先時,我們雖然知道一些關於耶穌基督的事,樂於變賣一切所有,出於愛的去撇棄自己;但是現在卻有些恍惚。耶穌在前面,看來有些異樣。「耶穌在前頭走,門徒就希奇。」 耶穌的態度使門徒心冷,使全部靈性生活喘息不寧。祂的面容帶著鐵石的表情;而祂勇往直前的決心,尤令我感覺恐怖。祂不是導師,也不是同志;祂別有見解,我絕然不知道,徒增我的感慨與驚訝。先時我自信瞭解了祂,但是現在卻有不少的疑慮。我開始感覺耶穌基督和我之間有了阻隔,不像先前那麼熟識。祂在我前頭走,也不回頭;不知道往那裡去,祂奔赴的目標更是遙遠難知。 耶穌要探知人類所能經驗的一切罪惡與憂愁,那就是祂奇特的所在。當我們看見祂在這種情形中,不認知祂,也未瞭解祂生命的特點,更不知怎樣的追隨祂。祂在前面,像是一位奇特的領袖,與我們沒有同志的關係。 膽怯的訓練,在作門徒的訓練中,有根本的必要。最危險的是轉身依靠我們自己的小火(參賽五十10─11)。當喪膽的黑暗臨到時,耐心等待其過去,因為經過以後,我們就會覺 得追隨耶穌,有說不出的快樂。
■ 中文上海嗎哪(03月15日)
三月十五日 「……你們要常在我的愛裡。」約翰福音十五章9節 我們能生活在很多不同的氣氛之下,有些人終日若有所思,他們的臉像個哲學家,他們也很有智慧。這些人生活在自己的感覺當中;他們對真理有主見、更有欣賞能力和審美觀念。有些人則活得像禽獸,他們生活在肉慾、眼睛的情慾之中;他們處在粗俗、下流、感官享受的氣氛之下。還有些人則生活在盡責任的壓力下,終日受良心斥責,使他們總是在恐懼的陰影之下,剝奪他們生命中的自由和生活裡的樂趣。不可否認的,這最後一種人的目的仍是誠實、正直、嚴謹的,他們的行為既不可忽視更不容置疑。 然而主基督要我們生活在愛的氣氛中。祂曾說:我愛你們,正如父愛我一樣,你們也要常在我的愛裡。在原文的版本中,祂的意思是要我們住或是生活在祂的愛裡。換言之,祂要我們永遠地活在祂的愛中,相信祂會一直愛我們,並且捉住祂的應許、享受祂的關心。這才真正是愛的生活。
