馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

五月八日「在火中遊行。」但以理書三章25節火並沒有制服他們；他們倒在火中遊行。那裡他們看見了神大能的異蹟。神的拯救，不是免去患難的拯救，乃是經過患難的拯救。哦，我的神啊！當黑暗罩住我的時候，求教導我知道：我不過是暫時在燧道中，不久就會重見天日的。他們告訴我：有一天我將站在橄欖山頂享受復活的榮耀。但是，父啊，我還要向你討一件東西─我要十字架一步一步領我上去。我要知道這世界的患難是一條進路─一條進入父家的路。求你叫我知道爬山的一段力氣是必須花的，因為的家是在山上！我既能在火中遊行，患難怎能傷害我呢？　　　　　　　　　　─馬得勝我說這山路崎嶇嵯峨，　一直要攀登上坡，只有荊刺，沒有花朵，　陰雲如晦，晴少雨多，但有一位握住我的手，　和祂同行輕快猶如投梭。我說這十字架太大，　我的背脊承受不起，這麼長，這麼寬，又這麼重，　沒有人關心我的苦楚。祂悄悄地屈身對我說；　我關心你，我完全明鑒。背十字架的人們一同前往，　我們何必悲歎忿恨，不久到了最嚮往的所在，　艱苦的路終於走完，要知道旅程中的每一步，　都有主在旁指引向前。

May 8 　"Walking in the midst of the fire." (Daniel 3:25.) 　ＴHE fire did not arrest their motion; they walked in the midst of it. It was one of the streets through which they moved to their destiny. The comfort of Christ's revelation is not that it teaches emancipation from sorrow, but emancipation through sorrow. 　O my God, teach me, when the shadows have gathered, that I am only in a tunnel. It is enough for me to know that it will be all right some day. 　They tell me that I shall stand upon the peaks of Olivet, the heights of resurrection glory. But I want more, O my Father; I want Calvary to lead up to it. I want to know that the shadows of this world are the shades of an avenue─the avenue to the house of my Father. Tell me I am only forced to climb because Thy house is on the hill! I shall receive no hurt from sorrow if I shall walk in the midst of the fire. 　　　　　　　　　　─George Matheson. But One took my hand at the entrance dim, And sweet is the road that I walk with Him. "`The cross is too great,' I cried─ 　`More than the back can bear, So rough and heavy and wide, 　And nobody by to care.' And One stooped softly and touched my hand: `I know. I care. and I understand.' "Then why do we fret and sigh; 　Cross-bearers all we go: But the road ends by-and-by 　In the dearest place we know, And every step in the journey we May take in the Lord's own company."

■ 永活之泉（05月08日）

五月八日　神的道「神的道是活潑的，是有功效的」希伯來書四章12節在禱告之中常常使用聖經的話是有極大的幫助，假如聖靈將一段確定的經文銘刻在我的心中，我就將它帶到施恩寶座前祈求應允，這種習慣會增強我們的信心，向我們提醒神的應許，更使我們與神的旨意和諧一致。我們要學習照神的旨意祈求，並且曉得唯有如此祈求才會蒙神垂聽（參約壹五14）禱告猶如火，只要有足夠的燃料，火就能產生光明；這個燃料就是神的道，必須以謹慎的心和禱告的心去研究，並要存記在心，活於生活之中。只有聖靈的默示和能力，才能完成這種果效。經過這種經歷，我們才能敬悉神道的價值和能力，就好像一顆永生的種籽，我們所有日常生活就好像種籽的特性——一顆很小種籽的生命——包括整個樹的能力都儲藏在其中，只要將種籽種在土壤中，就能長成大樹。每段神的道或應許，是一粒包含屬靈生命種籽，假如我以信心接受到心中，喜愛它，思想它，無疑的這將結出仁義的果子，思想這件事，直到你有把握得住，即使我的心是冰冷並死亡的，神的道仍可在其中照它的應許運行。聖靈同時運用道和禱告，禱告是表達人們的需要和願望，聖靈藉著神的道教導我們，神在我們身上的旨意，藉著聖靈在我們心中運行，是神成全其旨意的訣要；沒有聖靈幫助我們，就得不到神的應許。

五月八日　信仰的忍耐「你既遵守我忍耐的道，……」啟示錄三章10節忍耐不僅是忍受，一位聖徒的生命是在神的手中，就如弓箭在射箭的人的手中一樣。神目標的所在，是聖徒所不能見到的。祂拉著弓張到很緊，有時使聖徒說：「我再受不住了。」神好似沒有聽見，還是繼續張著，直到祂對準了祂的目標，才放射出去。將你自己託付神吧！你此刻為著甚麼需要忍耐呢？藉著信仰的忍耐，保持你與耶穌基督的關係。「就是祂殺我，我還是要等待祂。」信仰不是一種易於感傷的情緒，卻是建築在神聖潔之愛上面一種嚴肅而壯健的信心。你此刻不能看見祂，也不能瞭解祂正在作甚麼，你卻知道祂。船所觸礁的地方，不能保持永久真理──神是聖潔的愛──上面所建立的心理平衡。信仰是你生平英勇的努力，你放棄一切將你自己委託於神。神曾不顧一切，藉著耶穌基督來拯救我們，祂現在也要我們不顧一切，來絕對信靠祂。在我們裡面有信仰還未起作用的地方，就是神的生命所沒有接觸的地方。耶穌基督的生命裡沒有這些地方，我們裡面也不應該有這些地方，「認識您，這就是永生。」永遠的生命，就是註定祂所註定的事物，而不偏移的生命。如果我們得著這種見解，生命就變成了一種偉大的奇遇，隨時可以遇著光榮的機會，看見奇妙的事物。神訓練我們，使我們達到這種能力的中心點。

五月八日「……一粒麥子……若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。」約翰福音十二章24節死與復活不僅是大自然的規律，更是基督教的中心思想。從繭的變形，埋在土裡的種籽在春天發芽開花，以及原本籠罩著冬之死寂的大地變成穿上五彩繽紛的春衣……，從這些自然情況中，我們可以看到生與死的規律；從整本聖經裡，我們也能看出許多生與死的預表及情形。例如：割包皮象徵由死復活，跨越紅海、約但河水斷開、基督被釘死在髑髏地的十字架上、以及復活節清晨主的墳開了，也都像徵著死與復活。事實上，在每一個有靈命的基督徒身上，我們都能看到死與復活的狀況。每一個生命皆由死而得生，而且死得越透徹，活得就越真實。毫無疑問的，我們能從過去的歲月中，得知有那些方面我們應該掘個墳墓，把老我的惡習、罪性完全埋到無底的墳中。願神幫助我們把那些完全治死，藉著聖靈已埋葬的成為過去。惟有如此，我們的生命才能繼續發芽、開花、散放出基督的芳香。
