馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（08月10日）

八月十日「聽見拉撒路病了，就在所居之地，仍住了兩天。」約翰福音十一章6節在前一節聖經裏，我們明明看見：「耶穌素來愛馬大和她妹子，並拉撒路。」（5節）怎麼祂所愛的人病了，還不立即前去呢？這就是告訴我們：神對付我們的方法，無論怎樣嚴厲、怎樣神祕，我們仍可相信並斷言神的愛是無限的、豐裕的、不變的。按照馬大和馬利亞姊妹兩人的心理想來，耶穌一聽到拉撒路生病的消息，一定會立即不顧一切地趕去醫治她們的兄弟，但是，耶穌怎樣呢？「聽見拉撒路病了，就在所居之地，仍住了兩天。」祂不立即前去，並不是因為不愛她們，乃是因為愛她們。惟有祂的愛能保持祂不立即趕往祂所親愛的那個憂傷的家庭裏去。主若沒有無限的愛，就會立即跑去安慰那些所愛的困惱的心，止住他們的憂愁，揩乾她們的眼淚，消解她們的悲哀和嘆息。只有神的愛能不急躁─能任天使作完祂要作的工。在許多事情，我們不能不歸功於患難和痛苦。基督人生活上有許多美德，都是由患難和痛苦來的；因為沒有試煉，就沒有信心；沒有需要容忍的事情，就沒有忍耐；沒有艱難，就沒有經歷。　　　　　　　　　　─選我們認識的那一位，即在近旁。　被祂所愛，前途必定安泰，我們心中得到明確的證實，　我們被祂所愛。被祂所愛，烏雲雖把天空掩蓋，　悲痛雖把我們苦苦迫害，我們仍舊信靠祂，始終如一，　因為我們被祂所愛。天下萬物都被時間淘汰，　但時間不能改變祂的愛，基督心中洋溢著無限的慈悲，　我們被祂所愛。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（08月10日）

August 10 "When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was." (John 11:6.) 　ＩN forefront of this marvelous chapter stands the affirmation, "Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus," as if to teach us that at the very heart and foundation of all God's dealings with us, however dark and mysterious they may be, we must dare to believe in and assert the infinite, unmerited, and unchanging love of God. Love permits pain. The sisters never doubted that He would speed at all hazards and stay their brother from death, but, "When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was." 　What a startling "therefore"! He abstained from going, not because He did not love them, but because He did love them. His love alone kept Him back from hasting at once to the dear and stricken home. Anything less than infinite love must have rushed instantly to the relief of those loved and troubled hearts, to stay their grief and to have the luxury of wiping and stanching their tears and causing sorrow and sighing to flee away. Divine love could alone hold back the impetuosity of the Savior's tender-heartedness until the Angel of Pain had done her work. 　Who can estimate how much we owe to suffering and pain? But for them we should have little scope for many of the chief virtues of the Christian life. Where were faith, without trial to test it; or patience, with nothing to bear; or experience, without tribulation to develop it? 　　　　　　　　　　─Selected. "Loved! then the way will not be drear; For One we know is ever near, Proving it to our hearts so clear That we are loved. "Loved when our sky is clouded o'er, And days of sorrow press us sore; Still we will trust Him evermore, For we are loved. "Time, that affects all things below, Can never change the love He'll show; The heart of Christ with love will flow, And we are loved."

■ 永活之泉（08月10日）

八月十日　一粒麥子「我實實在在地告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地裏死了，仍舊是一粒；若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命，在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。」約翰福音十二章24、25節在這比喻中說到捨棄生命，無疑是獲得另外更進入真實而高尚的生命。在這不屬世界的教訓中，每粒麥子種在地下，是導致更美麗而充實生命的途徑。神的兒女是最合適的例子。在祂尚未升天、救贖百姓之前，受了不少苦楚和鞭傷，以致於死；這兒離釘十字架的時候很近，所以祂呼召門徒說：「若有人要服事我，就當跟從我」，「在世上恨自己生命的，就要保守生命直到永生。」即使再能復活，因為基督本來可以不需要犧牲生命，但為了順服神在我們身上的要求，並降服「死能產生生命的果實」之不變定律，才為我們而死。我們自然應該付出更多代價，以致治死亞當傳下的老我。惟有開放與基督並祂十字架的交通，才能確定治死老我！我們應聽從背十字架的呼召以捨棄老我，每天與基督同釘十字架。如我們樂於治死，並接受基督復活生命的大能，才能保證永生在我們裏面運行。唉！瞭解這層真理的人何其少！讓我們相信在人不能，在神凡事都能！讓我們相信復活的主基督耶穌的靈之律，能使我們每天體驗祂的死和生命。

八月十日　聖徒的奉獻「那照神旨意受苦的人，要一心為善，將自己靈魂交那信實的造化之主。」彼得前書四章19節選擇受苦是一件事，選擇神的旨意不怕受苦，是另一件事。從沒有健全的聖徒選擇受苦的；他要像耶穌一樣選擇神的旨意，無論受苦與否，在所不計。但是一個聖徒不應減免別的聖徒從痛苦中所受的訓練。那使耶穌心滿意足的聖徒，為神的緣故會叫別的聖徒剛強成熟起來。表同情於我們的不是有益於我們的，而是阻擋我們的，因為同情能叫人柔弱無能。除了與救主最接近的聖徒，沒有人瞭解聖徒，如果我們接受聖徒的同情，那反射的感覺是──「神正在同我為難」。那就是耶穌所以說自憐是屬於撒但的（參太十六23）。要顧惜神的名譽。神的性格是易於塗污的，因為神絕不表答，也不表白自己。不要以為耶穌在人世生活裡需要同情；祂拒絕從人來的同情，因為祂深知世上沒有人瞭解祂所追求的是甚麼。祂只接受從父而來的同情，從天上天使而來的同情（比較路十五10）。神對於聖徒不顧惜的差使，是當注意的。按照世人的眼光看，神常將祂的聖者樹立在最無用的地方。我們說：「神要我們在這裡，因為我非常有用」。神把祂的聖徒安排在足以榮耀祂的地方，就是我們所不能猜著的。

八月十日「我的佳偶，你全然美麗，毫無瑕疵！」雅歌四章7節祝福的聖靈在得著一些奉獻給神的心之後，對我們最高的生活方式非常關心，所以祂很敏感，甚至以嫉妒的愛看顧我們。正如雅各在經上所說：「……神所賜住在我們裡面的靈，是戀愛至於嫉妒……。」(雅四5) 聖靈非常小心地保守我們不受任何污穢、瑕疵所玷污。祂盼望能按著神的旨意，使我們發揮最高的潛能。屬天的新郎不僅要祂的教會無瑕疵，甚至要教會毫無玷污皺紋等類的病(弗五27)；因為污點是罪的記號，皺紋則是虛弱、老化以及敗壞的象徵。所以，耶穌不要這些傷毀外觀的事，發生在祂所心愛的肢體身上。也因此實行神旨意，為神大使的聖靈，被神差遣來呼召神的新婦，使她分別為聖，帶領她回到新郎的洞房。無怪乎！聖靈會甚至嫉妒的關心，巴望神所有的旨意都會實踐在我們身上。主啊！願您挪去我們肢體的每一個瑕疵，以及所有軟弱、敗壞的記號，使我們成為您毫無玷污的新婦。
