馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

九月十五日「吹在我的園內，使其中的香氣發出來。」雅歌四章16節雅歌第四章所說的幾種香料都是含有深意的。沉香是一種苦味的香料，這是表明苦中有甜的意思。沒藥是用來保存屍身的，這是表明我們自己的剛愎、驕傲，等罪都當釘死；然後我們的心中纔會發出香氣來。哦，有幾個基督人真是可愛，他們的臉上佩戴著十字架的印痕，一看便知道他們以前的驕傲和剛愎都已經與基督同釘十字架了，永遠丟在主的腳前了——這是屬天的可愛。乳香是一種必須經火然後會發出香氣來的香料。它的香氣在猛烈的火焰中最為濃厚。這是表明我們的心被痛苦的火焰所紮的時候，會發出最濃厚的香氣來，直到我們的心充滿了讚美和禱告。親愛的，我們有沒有發出這樣的香氣來呢？　　　　　　　　　　─譯自主的愛情生活一個波斯寓言說：「一天，　有一位流浪者撿到一塊泥土，　散發出馨郁的芬芳，　香氣瀰漫了整個房屋」。　他立刻問道：「你是何物，　是撒馬爾罕的寶玉嗎？　是偽裝的哪噠香膏，　或是名貴的異香？」「都不是，我只是一塊泥土」「那麼，你從何得此香氣？」「朋友，假若要我說出秘密，　我告訴你，我曾與玫瑰花在一起。」　哦！可愛的寓言！那塊泥土雖是微賤，　但因和沙崙的玫瑰同在一起　它卻變成芬芳之香氣撲鼻！　親愛的主，和我們在一起，　讓我們從您吸取新鮮的香氣。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（09月15日）

September 15 "Blow upon my garden that the spices may flow out." (S. of Sol. 4:16.) 　ＳOME of the spices mentioned in this chapter are quite suggestive. The aloe was a bitter spice, and it tells of the sweetness of bitter things, the bitter-sweet, which has its own fine application that only those can understand who have felt it. The myrrh was used to embalm the dead, and it tells of death to something. It is the sweetness which comes to the heart after it has died to its self-will and pride and sin. 　Oh, the inexpressible charm, that hovers about some Christians simply because they bear upon the chastened countenance and mellow spirit the impress the impress of the cross, the holy evidence of having died to something that was once proud and strong, but is now forever at the feet of Jesus. It is the heavenly charm of a broken spirit and a contrite heart, the music that springs from the minor key, the sweetness that comes from the touch of the frost upon the ripened fruit. 　And then the frankincense was a fragrance that came from the touch of the fire. It was the burning powder that rose in clouds of sweetness from the bosom of the flames. It tells of the heart whose sweetness has been called forth, perhaps by the flames of affliction, until the holy place of the soul is filled with clouds of praise and prayer. Beloved, are we giving out the spices, the perfumes, the sweet odors of the heart? 　　　　　　　　　　─The Love-Life of Our Lord. "A Persian fable says: Onr day A wanderer found a lump of clay So redolent of sweet perfume Its odors scented all the room. `What are thou? was his quick demand, `Art thou some gem from Samarcand, Or spikenard in this rude disguise, Or other costly merchandise? `Nay: I am but a lump of clay.' "`Then whence this wondrous perfume─say!' `Friend, if the secret I disclose, I have been dwelling with the rose.' Sweet parable! and will not those Who love to dwell with Sharon's rose, Distil sweet odors all around, Though low and mean themselves are found? Dear Lord, abide with us that we May draw our perfume fresh from Thee."

■ 永活之泉（09月15日）

九月十五日　保羅：啟示基督在心中「神……樂意將祂兒子啟示在我心裏。」加拉太書一章15、16節在我們學習敬拜基督之時，就發現我們的思想可分成五點：一、道成肉身的基督，二、釘十字架的基督，三、尊榮的基督，四、內住的基督，五、榮耀再來的基督。假如首先是一粒種子，其次種在土中，然後長成屬天的樣式，最後結成聖靈的果子；基督先是內住在我們心中，然後結果，到主顯現就收在倉裏。保羅告訴我們，神樂意啟示其兒子在他心裏，然後見證說：「基督在我裏面活著！」（加二20），他所說的生命主要的特質，就是與基督同釘十字架，因此他能說：「現在活著不再是我」，即在基督裏治死老我，就如十字架是基督生命的特點——「在寶座中被殺的羔羊」——所以基督在保羅裏塑造一個與他犧牲的主不可分離的生命，所以末了他能說：「我斷不以別的誇口，只誇我們主耶穌基督的十字架，就世界而論我已經釘在十字架上。」假如你問保羅：基督既然活在你裏面，現在活著的不再是他，那他的責任是什麼，他必定回答道：「我如今在肉身活著是因信神兒子而活，祂是愛我，為我捨己。」他的生命時刻連繫著這位愛他，為他完全犧牲，並要求他一生任何時間作一個順命的門徒。這是保羅講道的總綱和要義，他要求人為他說明「基督的奧秘」代禱，「這奧秘在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了何等榮耀的盼望。」（西二2，一37）基督的內住成了他信心生活的訣要，也是他生活、工作的能力和目標，並且是榮耀的盼望；讓我們相信基督實在願意內住在每位完全依靠祂的人裏面。

九月十五日　棄絕甚麼「乃將那些暗昧可恥的事棄絕了。」哥林多後書四章2節你曾將那些暗昧可恥的事──就是那些尊榮所不許表現的事，你棄絕了麼？你是易於將它們隱藏起來。你心裡想到某人，有不肯表白出來的事麼？它馬上發生，就馬上棄絕；完全棄絕，直到你沒有暗昧可恥的事。猜忌，嫉妒，競爭──這些事不是一定由於罪的性質，卻是由於你肢體曾經作了這種事的用途（參羅六19，彼前四2）。你當常常儆醒，免得你的生活裡發生可恥的事。「不要在歪曲中行，」那是指著你用以求達目的底方法而言，這是人們的大陷阱。你知道神祇許你用那種方法，那麼，切不可用別的方法；如果你不如此，神的挫折必降在你的身上。別人做事，你以為行在歪曲中，也許他們不以為然；而你其所以有如此的感覺，乃是神給了你另一種觀點。切不要讓捨棄一切而為祂的感覺遲鈍了。你以為利用歪曲的方便，能達到崇高以外的一種結果，如果你是這樣，你已遲鈍了神所給你的動機。有許多人向後轉，開倒車，正是因為他們怕從神的觀點觀看事物。一個人要超過他所未達到的地步，則靈性的轉變就來到了。

九月十五日「因為這默示有一定的日期，快要應驗，並不虛謊。雖然遲延，還要等候！因為必然臨到，不再遲延。」哈巴谷書二章3節有些事情的週期是一個小時，有些卻是一個世紀。無論是長或短，神的計劃將使每個週期都完滿結束。例如有些花隨季節盛開、凋謝；美國龍舌蘭要一個世紀才能長得好，但每種有生命的東西都有其自然的法則。很多人寧願在六月間摘果子，也不肯等到十月才下手，結果果子當然是又酸又不成熟。雖然神的計劃成熟得較慢，但因為我們知道即使會遲延，卻必然會實現，所以我們會靠著信心等候。當我們完全學會，並且滿心地相信這個可稱頌的應許時，我們能毫無疑問地知道祂的計劃必然都會成真，而我們只需全然交託，謹慎地順服祂的每一次帶領。這樣的信心能使我們靈裡安靜、心中平衡；更能讓我們不致經常煩躁，或是靠著自己的力量行事。等待吧！因為神能使錯的變成對的，等待吧！因為神能使烏雲化作藍天。只要我們等待。
