馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

五月廿三日「他們的智慧無法可施。於是他們在苦難中哀求耶和華，祂從他們的禍患中領出他們來。」詩一○七篇27、28節基督徒哪！你的愁眉緊鎖，你是到了才窮智竭的地步，你是不是在想面前的遭遇，以及承擔著種種重負？全世界都像與你相忤，你在戰場上孤獨無助？要記得到了才窮智竭的地步，神的豐滿和能力才會顯露。你四周的苦痛，使你眼花撩亂，你是否到了才窮智竭的地步，你覺得力不能支持否！這種緊張的局面無法應付？不斷的苦難，使你帶著種種傷痕，昏暈，麻木，如生疾痼。要記著：到了才窮智竭的地步，就會得著耶穌的愛護。環境在你的面前展開，你是否到了才窮智竭的地步，這正在開始，尚待結束，它們侵擾你的心，如蝕如磨。渴望有能力去處理，伸出的手卻顫抖無措。要記得：到了才窮智竭的地步，耶穌就會卸下你的重負。你是否到了才窮智竭的地步，那麼你所站立之處，正可認識從不失誤的，神所有的神奇財富，你的腳步即將移向更光明的道路。唯有到了才窮智竭的地步，才能證實萬能的天父。　　　　　　　　　　─威爾遜你不要失望；也許最後一把鑰匙，它纔是替你開了門。　　　　　　　　　　─司單雪弗

May 23 　"At their wit's end, they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out."(Psalm 107:27, 28.) Are you standing at "Wit's End Corner," 　Christian, with troubled brow? Are you thinking of what is before you, 　And all you are bearing now? Does all the world seem against you, 　And you in the battle alone? Remember─at "Wit's End Corner" 　Is just where God's power is shown. Are you standing at "Wit's End Corner," 　Blinded with wearying pain, Feeling you cannot endure it, 　You cannot bear the strain, Bruised through the constant suffering, 　Dizzy, and dazed, and numb? Remember─at "Wit's End Corner" 　Is where Jesus loves to come. Are you standing at "Wit's End Corner"? 　Your work before you spread, All lying begun, unfinished, 　And pressing on heart and head, Longing for strength to do it, 　Stretching out trembling hands? Remember─at "Wit's End Corner" 　The Buraen-beerer stands. ■ 永活之泉（05月23日）

五月廿三日　整天─每天「我要天天稱頌您。」詩篇一四五篇2節立志每天在神的話語中與神交通，是基督徒前進的動力，他熱誠堅毅地實行，會給他帶來成功的冠冕，他的經驗有幾分是這樣：早晨醒來他首先想到神，他必須花點兒時間禱告，也給神時間成全他的祈求並啟示祂自己，並且把自己的要求呈明在神面前，期望祂的回答。在一天當中，他隨時抽出幾分鐘保持與神交通；到了晚上安靜的時間，他反省一天的工作，憑著神赦罪的應許，承認他所犯的過錯，並重新將自己獻給神和祂的事工。這樣，他漸漸就明白他的生命到底缺少什麼，並且也說：不單「每天」而且「整天」，他要求聖靈如呼吸般不停地運行；在內室中，他的目標是整天憑信心支取聖靈，及主耶穌和父神的同在，並幫助他所做的一切。一整天！基督徒，聖靈要求：「今天」「現在是接受的時間！」如果一位接受很痛苦手術的病人問醫生說：「我何時可以起床？」回答是：「某日某時。」這是基督徒生活的律，神每天賜下嗎哪，在早晚獻祭——藉此神使祂的兒女渡過一天的生活。今天尋求聖靈引導你一天的生活，不需要為明天憂慮；但你可確信聖靈明天亦可帶領你渡過，正如今天一樣。

■ 中文屬天日子（05月23日）

五月廿三日　沒有信心的憂慮「不要為生命憂慮，吃甚麼，喝甚麼，為身體憂慮，穿甚麼。」馬太福音六章25節一個門徒憑著常識去憂慮，耶穌把它看為不信的表現。如果我們領受了神的靈，祂必上前來，說：「神對於這種關係，這種劃定的假期，這些新書，有甚麼關係呢」？不到我們學會了先求祂的旨意，祂總得注意這一點。無論何時我們把別的事情放在最前面，那就免不了混亂的狀況。「不要憂慮……」──不要靠自己的憂慮。憂慮，不但是不對，而且是不信，因為憂慮是表示我們不以神能看顧我們生活的實際需要；叫我們憂慮的，也就是這，絕不是別的事。你曾留心耶穌說，把道擠住的是甚麼？是惡魔麼？不是，是世上的憂慮。而且總是小小的憂慮。我不能見到的，我不信，那就是不信的起點。不信的唯一救法，就是順服聖靈的引導。耶穌向門徒所說的最重要的話，是放棄一切，順從祂。

五月廿三日「我也曉得去的時候，必帶著基督豐盛的恩典去。」羅馬書十五章29節許多基督徒想得到一切的祝福，卻不以基督為中心。他們想得到救恩的祝福，但那並非基督本身；他們想得到祂恩典的幫助，然而基督的恩典也不是基督；他們甚至為了要能事奉祂，而盼望禱告有答覆。可是他們就算擁有那一切，也可能沒有基督本身這個祝福。還有不少人想得到喜樂的祝福，這仍然不是得著基督的祝福；也有人與教會、牧師或弟兄姊妹非常親近，但內心也未必擁有基督。在一切事情都失敗時，真正能填滿我們裡面的，乃是與我們合而為一的耶穌的愛。當一切都凋萎、耗盡之後，耶穌基督自己仍然是我們全部祝福的來源，祂不僅是忠實的，而且是永恆的。
