馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

五月三日「到那時候，凡求告耶和華名的就必得救。」約珥書二章32節為甚麼我不求告耶和華的名呢？為甚麼我還要跑東跑西去請教我的親朋鄰舍呢？神不是就在這裡麼？神不是聽禱告的神麼？為甚麼我呆坐著設計籌劃呢？為甚麼不立刻把自己和重擔一起交給主呢？直跑，是頂近頂快的一條路。為甚麼我不立刻跑到活的神那裡去呢？除了主以外，在天下人間，別無拯救。我不必先考慮我有否資格去求告祂，因為那「凡」字已經足彀包括我在內了。「凡」字指著我，也指著任何人，每一個人。所以我要憑著經上的話，立刻去求告那賜應許的主。我的事情非常緊急，我不知道怎樣纔能得著拯救；但是這不是我的事，乃是主的事。祂既應許了，必會設法遵守祂的應許。順服祂的命令是我的事；替祂設計不是我的事。我是祂的奴隸，不是祂的參謀。我只消求告祂的名，祂必施行拯救。　　　　　　　　　　─司布真

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（05月03日）

May 3 　"And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered."(Joel 2:32.) 　ＷHY do not I call on His name? Why do I run to this neighbor and that when God is so near and will hear my faintest call? Why do I sit down and devise schemes and invent plans? Why not at once roll Myself and my burden upon the Lord? 　Straightforward is the best runner─why do not I run at once to the living God? In vain shall I look for deliverance anywhere else; but with God I shall find it; for here I have His royal shall to make it sure. 　I need not ask whether I may call on Him or not, for that word "Whosoever; is a very wide and comprehensive one. Whosoever means me, for it means anybody and everybody who calls upon God. I will therefore follow the leading of the text, and at once call upon the glorious Lord who has made so large a promise. 　My case is urgent, and I do not see how I am to be delivered; but this is no business of mine. He who makes the promise will find ways and means of keeping it. It is mine to obey His commands; it is not mine to direct His counsels. I am His servant, not His solicitor. ■ 永活之泉（05月03日）

五月三日　聖靈的引導「凡被聖靈引導的，都是神的兒子。」羅馬書八章14節現在讓我們來思想另外四種聖靈的果子：忍耐、恩慈、良善、溫柔，這四種德行都是神的性情，是祈求聖靈作工才能結出。現在要一一分別思想。忍耐——在舊約摩西時代，神的忍耐常為人所讚美，所有的經文都見證神對罪人有奇妙的耐心，正如彼得後書三章9節說道：「主是忍耐，因祂不願一人沈淪，乃願人人悔改。」這種屬靈的神性能成為我們生活的楷模，我們也能經驗對所有的罪惡和過犯產生神聖的耐心，而那人也能得救。恩慈——何等奇妙！我們能從詩篇中讀到有關神的恩慈和良善，這是神永存的性格，「天離地有多高，祂的慈愛對敬畏祂的人也有多高。」神在我們心中也是如此良善和恩慈，來對待我們的過犯和軟弱。良善——「除了神一位以外，再沒有良善的」祂是所有善事的源頭，祂必應允祂兒女從心底發出的祈求和願望，良善就是對需要的人顯出同情和愛心。溫柔——詩篇十八篇35節我們可以讀道：「您的溫和使我為大。」這可從神的兒子神聖的溫柔上看出來，耶穌說：「要學我的樣式，我心柔和謙卑。」保羅曾提醒讀者說：「要有基督的恩慈和溫柔。」聖靈也以溫良的鴿子為象徵，祂希望我們也能從心結出溫柔成熟的果子。這些不僅是四種神奇妙對待罪人的德行，我們也能藉聖靈的運行從心中結成這些果子，我們的言行舉止是否有溫柔和謙卑的樣子？

五月三日　有效的代求「靠著聖靈，隨時多方禱告祈求。」以弗所書六章18節我們進行代求之時，或許我們覺得，我們順服神反要累及別人，而且出乎我們意料之外。到這個時候我們有表同情於需要代求的人的危險，就是那因我們的代求被神升到一種完全不同的地位的人。無論何時，我們不與神興趣步趨一致，去表同情於人，便失去了與神的重要的關係；我們表同情於他們，顧慮他們，是阻止他們，不啻是斥責神。除非我們完全知道神的意志，就不能作有效的代求，而我們與神關係的最大消散，就是私人的同情和偏見。和神合而為一，是代求的關鍵，無論何時，我們不與神合而為一，倒是因為同情，不是因為罪惡。我們大概不會犯罪去阻止我們與神的關係，可是同情倒要阻止我們。同情於我們自己，或同情於人，必然使我們說：「我絕不使那件事發生」。我們就立刻與神脫離了生命的連繫。你把時間用在為別人代求的事上，也不為你的「苦甜」祈求。為己的思想是用不著趕走的，因為你已經沒有自己，沒有甚麼可以趕走的。你是絕對在別人的生活上，完全與神的興趣一致。明察是神對於代求的召喚，絕不是叫你吹毛求疵。

五月三日「……我將我的平安賜給你們……」約翰福音十四章27節這節經文提供平安的真正秘訣：就是擁有神的平安。只要我們將自己交給神，聖靈就會住在我們心中，賜給我們平安。但是撒但也會在我們擁有平安的同時打擾我們，藉著我們的思想，根據不同環境的情況，轉移我們的注意力，引致我們困惑不安。這個時刻應該是我們證明有聖潔平安，以及赤誠忠心的時刻。如果我們真是盼望有祂的同在勝過一切，那麼我們會排斥一切衝突的思想，專心定睛在耶穌身上。反之，假使我們想藉著感情的衝動得到滿足，勝過有祂的同在，那麼我們會自然地愛聽、愛看關於情慾的事。雖然我們可能回頭，但或許會找不到我們的好牧人，然後覺得為什麼我們失去了平安。失敗的發生，常常是由一些不重要的事導致而成。有時是一個錯誤的思想，有時則是一句話說溜了口；一個不怕爬高山峻嶺的人，卻常會被一根草絆倒。擁有完全安息的真正秘訣，乃在於僅僅讓耶穌長久地住在我們心中。
