馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（09月04日）

九月四日「你們聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必塌陷。各人都要往前直上。」約書亞記六章5節信心的呼喊不是躊躇的呻吟，也不是失望的哀泣。在許多「耶和華的奧祕」中，我不知道有甚麼比信心的呼喊更其寶貴。耶和華曉諭約書亞說：「看哪，我已經把耶利哥，和耶利哥的王，並大能的勇士，都交在你手中。」（2節）祂不是說：「我將要把……」祂乃是說：「我已經把……。」耶利哥城已經屬於以色列人了；現在只叫他們去佔領好了。但是問題是：如何佔領呢？在人看來，這是不可能的事；於是神又詳細說明了祂的計畫。沒有一個人想到呼喊會使城牆倒塌。可是他們得勝的祕訣，卻正在呼喊之中，因為這是一個信心的呼喊——一個敢在毫無勝利徵兆的時候，單獨憑神的話，向神索取所應許的勝利的信心！於是神照他們的信心給他們成全；當他們呼喊的時候，城牆果然倒塌了。神說祂已經把耶利哥城交在他們手中了，信心就這樣相信。數世紀後，聖靈還將這次信心的勝利記載在希伯來書上面：「因著信，圍繞耶利哥城，七日城牆就倒塌了。」（來十一30）　　　　　　　　　　─司密斯信心從未能達到完全地步，　直等到我們得勝感謝之聲頌揚，在這榮耀救贖之城中，　把已告訴我們每座門都當讚揚。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（09月04日）

September 4 "And when you hear the sound of trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall dowm flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him." (Joshua 6:5.) 　ＴHE shout of steadfast faith is in direct contrast to the moans of wavering faith, and to the wails of discouraged hearts. Among the many "secrets of the Lord," I do not know of any that is more valuable than the secret of this shout of faith. The Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king therof, and the mighty men of valour." He had not siad, "I will give," but "I have given." It belonged to them already; and now they were called to take possession of it. But the great question was, How? It looked impossible, but the Lord declared His plan. 　Now, no one can suppose for a moment that this shout caused the walls to fall. And yet the sert of their victory lay in just this shout, for it was the shout of a faith which dared, on the authority of God's Word alone, to claim a promised victory, while as yet there were no signs of this victory being accomplished. And according to their faith God did unto them; so that, when they shouted, He made the walls to fall. 　God had declared that He had given them the city, and faith reckoned this to be true. And long centuries afterwards the Holy Ghost recorded this triumph of faith in Hebrews: "By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days." 　　　　　　　　　　─Hannah Whitall Smith. ■ 永活之泉（09月04日）

九月四日　在亞當裏神的靈「屬靈的啟示是以人的創造為其前題，三一神的靈，單單把氣吹入人裏面，照祂形像和樣式而創造成的傑作。在人尚未墮落之前，神住在他裏面，他在神裏面；這是聖靈所成就的，神的靈與尚未墮落的人有直接的交往，並向他啟示。」「如果事情如此繼續的發展，救恩就不是神最後的啟示，人類也不需要救贖，人們可以藉聖靈的運行在這種情形下進到真正的享受。但事實卻不是這樣，神所造第一個生命，人類的祖先亞當，因悖逆神而不得不死，只有聖靈直接工作才能使人恢復原來的樣子，因而直接的啟示要以墮落的人恢復原先神的形像和樣式為其前題。「繼續的啟示必須是人們經常在被贖的情況中。首先，需要賜予生命保守使其繼續活著，除非因聖靈能力使生命被贖到先前的狀況，否則無法具有先前的善良；因為非有基督，我們就一事無成，所以我們必須在每件我們要做的事上不斷直接相信、期待、等候，並依靠祂藉著住在我們裏面聖靈的啟示。」讓我們停下來想想；神的兒女何等稀少的相信，或接受這種不斷而繼續的啟示；讓我們把從信息所領受，變成我們所渴望和禱告的主題一但願我們完全體驗聖靈這樣的工作在我們身上。

■ 中文屬天日子（09月04日）

九月四日　祂的！「他們本是您的，您將他們賜給我。」約翰福音十七章6節聖靈在宣教師裡鑄成了這種認識──「你不是你自己的」。能說「我不是我自己的」，是達到了靈性最高點。生命的本性，在賡續的事實中，自願的為那具有優先權的一位捨去，就是為耶穌基督捨去。聖靈把耶穌本性向我解明，為的是叫我與主合而為一，並不是要我像排列在櫥窗裡的陳列品。我們的主從不因為祂替門徒做了甚麼，而差遣門徒出去。不到復活以後，不到門徒因著聖靈能力而知道祂是誰的時候，祂不差遣他們出去。「人到我這裡來，若不愛我勝過愛……就不能作我的門徒，」並不是說──他不能作正直的人，卻是說──不是屬於耶穌的人。不應讓耶穌所謂「若不愛我勝過愛」的那些事件，與我們同神的關係競爭，我們也許寧願屬於我的母親，或我的妻子，或我自己；但是耶穌說，你不配作我的門徒。這並不是說，我不能得救，卻是說我不是屬「祂的」。我們的主要使門徒們做祂自己的所有物，所以祂就對於他們負責。「你們就是這些事的見證。」聖靈之來到，並不是來替耶穌作甚麼，卻是來給祂一種完全的滿意。宣教師的祕訣是──我是屬於祂的，祂藉著我實現祂的企圖。應當完全屬祂！

■ 中文上海嗎哪（09月04日）

九月四日「你們來，同我暗暗地到曠野地方去歇一歇……」馬可福音六章31節屬靈的最大障礙之一，就是缺乏安靜地親近神。我們無法只用早上喝咖啡時，所吸進去的空氣來渡過一整天。我們必須時時生活在大氣中，而且不斷地呼吸。有些基督徒並不用足夠的時間親近神，其結局是顯然的。如果要使我們屬靈的生命健康豐富，那麼就得天天花許多時間與聖靈交通。每一個時刻我們都需要將老我釘死，並且清新地吸進祂的生命。神等候將聖靈賜給我們，並渴望祝福我們。祂的目的是要藉著祂無限的泉源來甦醒、餵養我們屬靈的生命。讓我們接受祂，住在祂裡面，叫神知道祂豐富的恩典並沒有白費，讓我們感謝且善用祂所賜予的祝福。主啊！請今天幫助我，讓我住在您裡面，如同在陽光下的花朵、海中的魚。讓我生活在您的愛中，因您的愛就是我生命所需的空氣及要素。
