馬可福音, 1章

^1:1 神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的起頭。 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (\f1 1:1 Some manuscripts do not have|i the Son of God|d.)
^1:2 正如先知以賽亞〔有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字〕書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。 It is written in Isaiah the prophet:<<I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way>> \f2 1:2 Mal. 3:1)--
^1:3 在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路。 <<a voice of one calling in the desert, <Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.> >> \f3 1:3 Isaiah 40:3)
^1:4 照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
^1:5 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裏，承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
^1:6 約翰穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。 John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
^1:7 他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他解鞋帶也是不配的。 And this was his message: <<After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
^1:8 我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」 I baptize you with (\f4 1:8 Or|i in|d)water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.>>
^1:9 那時，耶穌從加利利的拿撒勒來，在約旦河裏受了約翰的洗。 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
^1:10 他從水裏一上來，就看見天裂開了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
^1:11 又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」 And a voice came from heaven: <<You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.>>
^1:12 聖靈就把耶穌催到曠野裏去。 At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert,
^1:13 他在曠野四十天，受撒但的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來伺候他。 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
^1:14 約翰下監以後，耶穌來到加利利，宣傳　神的福音， After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.
^1:15 說：「日期滿了，　神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」 <<The time has come,>> he said. <<The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!>>
^1:16 耶穌順著加利利的海邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海邊撒網；他們本是打魚的。 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
^1:17 耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。」 <<Come, follow me,>> Jesus said, <<and I will make you fishers of men.>>
^1:18 他們就立刻捨了網，跟從了他。 At once they left their nets and followed him.
^1:19 耶穌稍往前走，又見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.
^1:20 耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和雇工人留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
^1:21 到了迦百農，耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人。 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
^1:22 眾人很希奇他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像文士。 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.
^1:23 在會堂裏，有一個人被污鬼附著。他喊叫說： Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil (\f5 1:23 Greek|i unclean|d; also in verses 26 and 27)spirit cried out,
^1:24 「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」 <<What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!>>
^1:25 耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」 <<Be quiet!>> said Jesus sternly. <<Come out of him!>>
^1:26 污鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋，大聲喊叫，就出來了。 The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
^1:27 眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個新道理啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, <<What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him.>>
^1:28 耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.
^1:29 他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
^1:30 西門的岳母正害熱病躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。 Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
^1:31 耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。 So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
^1:32 天晚日落的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
^1:33 合城的人都聚集在門前。 The whole town gathered at the door,
^1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
^1:35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裏禱告。 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
^1:36 西門和同伴追了他去， Simon and his companions went to look for him,
^1:37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 and when they found him, they exclaimed: <<Everyone is looking for you!>>
^1:38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裏傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 Jesus replied, <<Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.>>
^1:39 於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
^1:40 有一個長大痲瘋的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 A man with leprosy (\f6 1:40 The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.)came to him and begged him on his knees, <<If you are willing, you can make me clean.>>
^1:41 耶穌動了慈心，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. <<I am willing,>> he said. <<Be clean!>>
^1:42 大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
^1:43 耶穌嚴嚴的囑咐他，就打發他走， Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
^1:44 對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」 <<See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.>>
^1:45 那人出去，倒說了許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明的進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都就了他來。 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

九月十二日「那靠著良人從曠野上來的，是誰呢？」雅歌八章5節一次，我在一個祈禱會中，學到了一課有益的功課。有一位弟兄，起來禱告，求神賜各種祝福給我們——正如你我所求的；他也為著已經得到的感謝神——正如你我所感謝的；但是，在他結束的時候，他加上了一個奇異的請求。他說：「哦，主啊，撐住我們！是的，主啊，在我們所靠的每一邊撐住我們！」親愛的讀者，你有沒有可倚靠的呢？這位弟兄，用一個新的方法，把我們所倚靠的描寫清楚了；他對我們所倚靠的主，有了新的亮光，他也把這個亮光，介紹給我們了。讀者，主是時時在信徒旁邊的，祂隨都能張開祂仁愛的雙臂來撐住軟弱的信徒。　　　　　　　　　　─選當你依靠神的時候，祂會這樣對你說：「我親愛的子女，緊緊靠著我，　讓我感覺到壓迫你的憂患」。　孩子，我知道你的重負，這是我所給你的；　我曾用自己的手去試過它的重量，　如果沒有我的幫助，絕非你獨力所能承擋。　所以當我讓這重擔付託你時，我說：「我在你旁，你依靠我，重擔變成我負，而非你負；　我要把我的子女，安置在我慈愛的懷抱中」。　現在可以把這重負卸給我，不要怕我受不了，　我的肩頭可以支撐整個世界，你得靠近我，　靠得還不夠近，我要負荷你的憂患，　我覺得如我的子女安息在我的懷中。　那不用懷疑，我知道，你愛我，　只管愛我，緊緊靠著我。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（09月12日）

September 12 "Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leanihg upon her beloved?" (S. of Sol. 8:5.) 　ＳOME one gained a good lesson from a Southern prayer meeting. A colored brother asked the Lord for various blessing─as you and I do, and thanked the Lord for many already received─as you and I do; but he closed with this unusual petition: "And, O Lord, support us! Yes support us Lord on every leanin' side!" Have you any leaning sides? This humble man's prayer pictures them in a new way and shows the Great Supporter in a new light also. He is always walking by the Christian, ready to extend His mighty arm and steady the weak one on "every leanin' side." "Child of My love, lean hard, And let Me feel the pressure of thy care; I know thy burden, child. I shaped it; Poised it in Mine Own hand; made no proportion In its weight to thine unaided strength, For even as I laid it on, I said, I shall be near, and while she leans on Me, This burden shall be Mine, not hers; So shall I keep My child within the circling arms Of My Own love! Here lay it down, nor fear To impose it on a shoulder which upholds The government of worlds. Yet closer come: Thou art not near enough. I would embrace thy care; So I might feel My child reposing on My breast. Thou lovest Me? I knew it. Doubt not then; But loving Me, lean hard."

■ 永活之泉（09月12日）

九月十二日　多馬：蒙福的信心「耶穌對他說：『你因看見了我才信，那沒有看見就信的有福了。』」約翰廿章29節我們總是數算多馬所得奇妙的福份，基督親自向祂顯現，並許可他摸祂的手，探祂的肋旁；對於這種奇妙的福氣是無法用言語形容的，只有深深的敬拜說：「我的主！我的神！」誰有比此更高而窘迫的經驗，得以親近榮耀的神？基督同時也說：「你因看見了我才信，那沒有看見就信的有福了。」因為真實而活潑的信心能與基督親近，並有比多馬更多喜樂的心。在此幾世紀以後，我們能有比多馬與主更親近的經驗，那些沒有看見卻單純、實在、真正而完全的在每時刻相信祂，祂也照應許向他們顯現，與父神內住在他們裏面。我們是否時常思想這種完全相信的生命是我們可及的，而且這是思想信心的能力；讓我們轉到基督的話：「那不看見就信的有福了。」這的確將屬天的福份傾倒至我們內心深處和生命裏，信心可以接受這位活著的主愛心和同在。你也許問，如何有赤子般的信心，答案很簡單，只要耶穌基督是我們渴慕並信靠的對象，祂就會以神聖的能力向我們顯現。多馬的獻身已在他說：「我們也和祂同死吧！」這一句話中得到應證，有如此的愛，即使是疑惑不信，主仍向他顯現，主將說：「我永遠與您同在。」神答應這在我們身上實現，讓我們將信心建立在祂的話語、能力和神聖的內住之上，讓祂作我們一切事的主——基督就願意親自向我們顯現，以我們的心為祂內住的居所。

九月十二日　靈性上的困惑「你們不知道所求的是甚麼？」馬太福音廿章22節靈性生活有時發生困惑，我們以這種困惑為不應有，並沒有解決困惑。這不是是非問題，卻是神領導你的時候，你未瞭解祂的方法的問題，只有經過困惑，你才知道神意義何在。掩蔽祂的友誼——耶穌在路加福音十一章5—8節所提出的那人，好像一點不顧他朋友的事。同時祂還是說，我們的天父有時也好像這樣。你們以為祂不像好朋友，但祂並不是這樣，時候將到，甚麼事都必顯明。有時你的心裡也浮起一層薄雲，愛主的人也須經過痛苦與眼淚，然後才能達到完滿契合的祝福。當神完全掩蔽的時候，你仍然繼續的信賴祂麼？掩蔽天父的陰影——路加福音十一章11—13節，耶穌說，你們的天父有時好像沒有心肝，無情，漠不關心的樣子，實則祂並不是這樣。我已告訴你們──「凡祈求的，就得著。」如果此刻天父的面上有陰影，不要走開，祂終必明明白白的顯示，在祂許可的一切上，將自己證明出來。罕見的忠誠——路加福音十八章1—8節，「人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德的人麼？」雖然有困惑，祂尚能遇見有信德的人順服祂麼？雖然同時你不瞭解神所行的事，你當相信耶穌所說的，定是真實不妄，因為祂有更急切的事，比你們所求的還要重大。

九月十二日「鼎為煉銀，爐為煉金；惟有耶和華熬煉人心。」箴言十七章3節記住，如果我們不是蓄意做壞事，那麼受引誘並不是罪。或許我們似乎有點受試探的傾向，但因為我們的心毫不動搖地抵制罪，神祇會視這種情況為一種誘惑。而且由於引誘的力量很大，當我們願意在這種情況下順服神時，祂會更加喜樂。我們對邪惡如何進入到心中，如何與我們的思想、感覺結合，可能瞭解的很有限。然而只要我們抵擋誘惑，就可以像海鳥一樣純潔。當牠們從水面上浮出來時，光滑的羽毛上卻滴水不沾。如果一個野蠻、笨拙的人彈豎琴，琴聲會極為不合諧，這不是因為琴不好，乃是因為彈琴的人手不靈巧。然而，當耶穌的手輕輕撥弄那些弦時，琴就會發出高尚優美的樂音。所以，我們應該「凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沈淪，你們得救都是出於神。」(腓一28)
