1:1 當猶大王約坦、亞哈斯、希西家在位的時候，摩利沙人彌迦得耶和華的默示，論撒馬利亞和耶路撒冷。 The word of the LORD that came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah--the vision he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
1:2 萬民哪，你們都要聽！地和其上所有的，也都要側耳而聽！主耶和華從他的聖殿要見證你們的不是。 Hear, O peoples, all of you, listen, O earth and all who are in it, that the Sovereign LORD may witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 1:3 看哪，耶和華出了他的居所，降臨步行地的高處。 Look! I will pour her stones into the valley and lay bare her foundations. 1:7 她一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎；她所得的財物必被火燒；所有的偶像我必毀滅；因為是從妓女雇價所聚來的，後必歸為妓女的雇價。 All her idols will be broken to pieces; all her temple gifts will be burned with fire; I will destroy all her images. Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes, as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used.>> 1:8 先知說：因此我必大聲哀號，赤腳露體而行；又要呼號如野狗，哀鳴如鴕鳥。 Because of this I will weep and wail; I will go about barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal and moan like an owl. 1:9 因為撒馬利亞的傷痕無法醫治，延及猶大和耶路撒冷我民的城門。 For her wound is incurable; it has come to Judah. It 1:9 Or ((He)) has reached the very gate of my people, even to Jerusalem itself. 1:10 不要在迦特報告這事，總不要哭泣；我在伯‧亞弗拉滾於灰塵之中。 Tell it not in Gath; 1:10 ((Gath)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((tell.)) weep not at all. 1:10 Hebrew; Septuagint may suggest ((not in Acco.)) The Hebrew for ((in Acco)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((weep.)) In Beth Ophrah 1:10 ((Beth Ophrah)) means ((house of dust.)) roll in the dust. 1:11 沙斐的居民哪，你們要赤身蒙羞過去。撒南的居民不敢出來。伯‧以薛人的哀哭使你們無處可站。 Pass on in nakedness and shame, you who live in Shaphir. 1:11 ((Shaphir)) means ((pleasant.)) Those who live in Zaanan 1:11 ((Zaanan)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((come out.)) will not come out. Beth Ezel is in mourning; its protection is taken from you. 1:12 瑪律的居民心甚憂急，切望得好處，因為災禍從耶和華那裏臨到耶路撒冷的城門。 Those who live in Maroth 1:12 ((Maroth)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((bitter.)) writhe in pain, waiting for relief, because disaster has come from the LORD, even to the gate of Jerusalem. 1:13 拉吉的居民哪，要用快馬套車；錫安民〔原文是女子〕的罪由你而起；以色列人的罪過在你那裏顯出。 You who live in Lachish, 1:13 ((Lachish)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((team.)) harness the team to the chariot. You were the beginning of sin to the Daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you. 1:14 猶大啊，你要將禮物送給摩利設‧迦特。亞革悉的眾族必用詭詐待以色列諸王。 Therefore you will give parting gifts to Moresheth Gath. The town of Aczib 1:14 ((Aczib)) means ((deception.)) will prove deceptive to the kings of Israel. 1:15 瑪利沙的居民哪，我必使那奪取你的來到你這裏；以色列的尊貴人〔原文是榮耀〕必到亞杜蘭。 I will bring a conqueror against you who live in Mareshah. 1:15 ((Mareshah)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((conqueror.)) He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam. 1:16 猶大啊，要為你所喜愛的兒女剪除你的頭髮，使頭光禿，要大大地光禿，如同禿鷹，因為他們都被擄去離開你。 Shave your heads in mourning for the children in whom you delight; make yourselves as bald as the vulture, for they will go from you into exile. 三月十五日 「你這蟲雅各……不要害怕……我要使你成為有快齒打糧的新器具。」以賽亞書四一章14、15節（直譯） 蟲與快齒的器具怎樣可以相比呢？蟲是多麼軟弱，給我們石頭或車輪一壓，就會壓得稀爛；快齒的器具是多麼堅強；甚至能「把山嶺打得粉碎，使岡陵如同糠秕。」（賽四一15）但是全能的神能使蟲成為有快齒的器具。神能使個人或民族，藉著祂的靈，從蟲的軟弱到快齒器具的剛強，在歷史上留著很深的痕跡。 所以我們這些蟲不要喪膽。全能的神能使我們在四圍患難的環境中變成剛強。靠著祂的力量，我們能叫我們的環境向我們屈服，向我們進貢。我們甚至能隨便抓住一個黑色的失望，把牠劈開來，從其中抽出恩典的寶石來。神也能給我們像鐵那般的意志，所有的難處都能迎刃而解，猶如堅土遇到鐵犁那樣鬆散。神既說：「我要使你……」祂豈會不如此行呢？ ─喬懷德 基督建造祂的國度，都是用地上破碎的東西建造的。人們所要的是強健的、成功的、勝利的、不碎的；但是神所要的乃是在地上不成功的、失敗的、傷心的、軟弱的。天上充滿著地上破碎的生命，沒有一根壓傷的蘆葦是基督所不能恢復的。祂能使一個被痛苦、憂愁所壓傷的生命，變成一架彈出讚美的音樂來的古琴。祂能把地上的失敗變成天上的榮耀。 ─密勒 跟從我，我要範鑄你們， 有力地傳佈我的福音， 成為流出慈恩的溝洫， 使你們成為有用之人。 跟從我， 我要範鑄你們， 脫胎換骨， 重新做人， 有信， 有愛， 忠實虔誠， 不愧為神的子民。

March 15 "Fear not, thou worm Jacob....I will make thee a threshing instrument with teeth." (Isa. 41:14, 15.) ＣOULD any two things be in greater contrast than a worm and an instrument with teeth? The worm is delicate, bruised by a stone, crushed beneath the passing wheel; an instrument with teeth can break and not be broken; it can grave its mark upon the rock. And the mighty God can convert the one into the other. He can take a man or a nation, who has all the impotence of the worm, and by the invigoration of His own Spirit, He can endow with strength by which a noble mark is left upon the history of the time. And so the "worm" may take heart. The mighty God can make us stronger than our circumstances. He can bend them all to our good. In God's strengthwe can make them all pay tribute to our souls. We can even take hold of a black disappointment, break it open, and extract some jewel of grace. When God gives us wills like iron, we can drive through difficulties as the iron share cuts through the toughest soil. "I will make thee," and shall He not do it? ─Dr. Jowett. Christ is building His kingdom with earth's broken things. Men want only the strong, the successful, the victorious, the unbroken, in building their kingdoms; but God is the God of the unsuccessful, of those who have failed. Heaven is filling with earth's broken lives, and there is no bruised reed that Christ cannot take and restore to glorious blessedness and beauty. He can take the life crushed by pain or sorrow and make it into a harp whose music shall be all praise. he can lift earth's saddest failure up to heaven's glory. ─J. R. Miller. 三月十五日 保羅為代禱者 「我在父面前屈膝，……藉著祂的靈，叫你們心裡的力量剛強起來。」以弗所書三章14—16節 我們每逢想到保羅，就說他是偉大的傳道人、佈道家、大作家，及「格外勞苦」的大使徒；然而，我們卻不夠認識他是一位代禱者。他藉著祈求、尋求，並得著生活的能力，且能為他所服事的教會代求，帶下祝福。 我們看他上面寫給以弗所人的話，再想想他寫給帖撒羅尼迦人的話：「我們晝夜切切地祈求，以……補滿你們信心的不足；好使你們……心裡堅固，成為聖潔，無可責備。」（帖三10—13）在他寫給羅馬人書中說：「我怎樣不住的題到你們，在禱告之間。」（羅一9）寫給腓立比人書中說：「每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，常是歡歡喜喜的祈求。」還有他寫給歌羅西人說：「我們為你們不住的禱告、祈求……」「我願意你們曉得，我為你們是何等盡心竭力。」（西一9；二1）保羅晝夜在神面前為他們呼籲，求聖靈的光與能力進入他們心內。他深信他的代求是大有功效的，照樣地，他也相信他們的代求會帶給他祝福。「我勸你們與我一同竭力，為我祈求神。」（羅十五30）「神現在仍要救我們……你們以祈禱幫助我們。」（林後一10—11）「也為我祈求，使我能放膽開口……」（弗六18—19；西四3；帖後三1）「藉著你們的禱告，終必叫我得救。」（腓一19） 神的僕人與百姓間的關係，完全基於同心合意恆切地禱告。他們之間的關係完全是屬天的、屬靈的、神聖的，只有靠恆切的禱告來維持。唯有當神的僕人與百姓能醒悟過來，知道聖靈的權能與祝福有賴於他們同心合意恆切的禱告時，教會才能真實地明白，甚麼是五旬節使徒時期的教會。 禱告： 永遠可稱頌的父啊，我們俯伏懇求您施恩，恢復教會懇求與代禱的靈——奉主的名。阿們。

三月十五日 膽怯的訓練 「跟從的人也害怕。」馬可福音十章32節 先時，我們雖然知道一些關於耶穌基督的事，樂於變賣一切所有，出於愛的去撇棄自己；但是現在卻有些恍惚。耶穌在前面，看來有些異樣。「耶穌在前頭走，門徒就希奇。」 耶穌的態度使門徒心冷，使全部靈性生活喘息不寧。祂的面容帶著鐵石的表情；而祂勇往直前的決心，尤令我感覺恐怖。祂不是導師，也不是同志；祂別有見解，我絕然不知道，徒增我的感慨與驚訝。先時我自信瞭解了祂，但是現在卻有不少的疑慮。我開始感覺耶穌基督和我之間有了阻隔，不像先前那麼熟識。祂在我前頭走，也不回頭；不知道往那裡去，祂奔赴的目標更是遙遠難知。 耶穌要探知人類所能經驗的一切罪惡與憂愁，那就是祂奇特的所在。當我們看見祂在這種情形中，不認知祂，也未瞭解祂生命的特點，更不知怎樣的追隨祂。祂在前面，像是一位奇特的領袖，與我們沒有同志的關係。 膽怯的訓練，在作門徒的訓練中，有根本的必要。最危險的是轉身依靠我們自己的小火（參賽五十10─11）。當喪膽的黑暗臨到時，耐心等待其過去，因為經過以後，我們就會覺 得追隨耶穌，有說不出的快樂。

三月十五日 「……你們要常在我的愛裡。」約翰福音十五章9節 我們能生活在很多不同的氣氛之下，有些人終日若有所思，他們的臉像個哲學家，他們也很有智慧。這些人生活在自己的感覺當中；他們對真理有主見、更有欣賞能力和審美觀念。有些人則活得像禽獸，他們生活在肉慾、眼睛的情慾之中；他們處在粗俗、下流、感官享受的氣氛之下。還有些人則生活在盡責任的壓力下，終日受良心斥責，使他們總是在恐懼的陰影之下，剝奪他們生命中的自由和生活裡的樂趣。不可否認的，這最後一種人的目的仍是誠實、正直、嚴謹的，他們的行為既不可忽視更不容置疑。 然而主基督要我們生活在愛的氣氛中。祂曾說：我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣，你們也要常在我的愛裡。在原文的版本中，祂的意思是要我們住或是生活在祂的愛裡。換言之，祂要我們永遠地活在祂的愛中，相信祂會一直愛我們，並且捉住祂的應許、享受祂的關心。這才真正是愛的生活。
