耶利米哀歌, 1章

^1:1 先前滿有人民的城，現在何竟獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦；先前在諸省中為王后的，現在成為進貢的。 How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave.
^1:2 她夜間痛哭，淚流滿；在一切所親愛的中間沒有一個安慰她的。她的朋友都以詭詐待她，成為她的仇敵。 Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are upon her cheeks. Among all her lovers there is none to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies.
^1:3 猶大因遭遇苦難，又因多服勞苦就遷到外邦。她住在列國中，尋不著安息；追逼她的都在狹窄之地將她追上。 After affliction and harsh labor, Judah has gone into exile. She dwells among the nations; she finds no resting place. All who pursue her have overtaken her in the midst of her distress.
^1:4 錫安的路徑因無人來守聖節就悲傷；她的城門淒涼；她的祭司歎息；她的處女受艱難，自己也愁苦。 The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed feasts. All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her maidens grieve, and she is in bitter anguish.
^1:5 她的敵人為首；她的仇敵亨通；因耶和華為她許多的罪過使她受苦；她的孩童被敵人擄去。 Her foes have become her masters; her enemies are at ease. The LORD has brought her grief because of her many sins. Her children have gone into exile, captive before the foe.
^1:6 錫安城〔原文是女子；下同〕的威榮全都失去。她的首領像找不著草場的鹿；在追趕的人前無力行走。 All the splendor has departed from the Daughter of Zion. Her princes are like deer that find no pasture; in weakness they have fled before the pursuer.
^1:7 耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之時，就追想古時一切的樂境。她百姓落在敵人手中，無人救濟；敵人看見，就因她的荒涼嗤笑。 In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction.
^1:8 耶路撒冷大大犯罪，所以成為不潔之物；素來尊敬她的，見她赤露就都藐視她；她自己也歎息退後。 Jerusalem has sinned greatly and so has become unclean. All who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns away.
^1:9 她的污穢是在衣襟上；她不思想自己的結局，所以非常地敗落，無人安慰她。她說：耶和華啊，求你看我的苦難，因為仇敵誇大。 Her filthiness clung to her skirts; she did not consider her future. Her fall was astounding; there was none to comfort her. <<Look, O LORD, on my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed.>>
^1:10 敵人伸手，奪取她的美物；她眼見外邦人進入她的聖所─論這外邦人，你曾吩咐不可入你的會中。 The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary-- those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.
^1:11 她的民都歎息，尋求食物；他們用美物換糧食，要救性命。他們說：耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我甚是卑賤。 All her people groan as they search for bread; they barter their treasures for food to keep themselves alive. <<Look, O LORD, and consider, for I am despised.>>
^1:12 你們一切過路的人哪，這事你們不介意嗎？你們要觀看：有像這臨到我的痛苦沒有─就是耶和華在他發烈怒的日子使我所受的苦？ <<Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look around and see. Is any suffering like my suffering that was inflicted on me, that the LORD brought on me in the day of his fierce anger?
^1:13 他從高天使火進入我的骨頭，剋制了我；他鋪下網羅，絆我的腳，使我轉回；他使我終日淒涼發昏。 <<From on high he sent fire, sent it down into my bones. He spread a net for my feet and turned me back. He made me desolate, faint all the day long.
^1:14 我罪過的軛是他手所綁的，猶如軛繩縛在我頸項上；他使我的力量衰敗。主將我交在我所不能敵擋的人手中。 <<My sins have been bound into a yoke; 1:14 Most Hebrew manuscripts; Septuagint ((He kept watch over my sins)) by his hands they were woven together. They have come upon my neck and the Lord has sapped my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.
^1:15 主輕棄我中間的一切勇士，招聚多人〔原文是大會〕攻擊我，要壓碎我的少年人。主將猶大居民踹下，像在酒醡中一樣。 <<The Lord has rejected all the warriors in my midst; he has summoned an army against me to 1:15 Or ((has set a time for me / when he will)) crush my young men. In his winepress the Lord has trampled the Virgin Daughter of Judah.
^1:16 我因這些事哭泣；我眼淚汪汪；因為那當安慰我、救我性命的，離我甚遠。我的兒女孤苦，因為仇敵得了勝。 <<This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My children are destitute because the enemy has prevailed.>>
^1:17 錫安舉手，無人安慰。耶和華論雅各已經出令，使四圍的人作他仇敵；耶路撒冷在他們中間像不潔之物。 Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comfort her. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them.
^1:18 耶和華是公義的！他這樣待我，是因我違背他的命令。眾民哪，請聽我的話，看我的痛苦；我的處女和少年人都被擄去。 <<The LORD is righteous, yet I rebelled against his command. Listen, all you peoples; look upon my suffering. My young men and maidens have gone into exile.
^1:19 我招呼我所親愛的，他們卻愚弄我。我的祭司和長老正尋求食物、救性命的時候，就在城中絕氣。 <<I called to my allies but they betrayed me. My priests and my elders perished in the city while they searched for food to keep themselves alive.
^1:20 耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我在急難中。我心腸擾亂；我心在我裏面翻轉，因我大大悖逆。在外，刀劍使人喪子；在家，猶如死亡。 <<See, O LORD, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.
^1:21 聽見我歎息的有人；安慰我的卻無人！我的仇敵都聽見我所遭的患難；因你做這事，他們都喜樂。你必使你報告的日子來到，他們就像我一樣。 <<People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so they may become like me.
^1:22 願他們的惡行都呈在你面前；你怎樣因我的一切罪過待我，求你照樣待他們；因我歎息甚多，心中發昏。 <<Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.>> 2:0 This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（07月22日）

七月廿二日「耶和華必然等候，要施恩給你們……凡等候祂的，都是有福的。」以賽亞書卅章18節我們不該單想到我們在等候神，也應該想到更奇異的─神在等候我們。我們若看見祂在等候我們，這會給我們新的鼓舞、新的激勵，來等候祂；這也會給我們極大的平安—─知道我們的等候不是徒然的。也許你要問：「既然祂在等候施恩，為甚麼我來等候祂的時候，祂仍不給我所尋找的幫助，而繼續等候著呢？」親愛的讀者，神是一位聰明的農夫，祂「忍耐等候地裡寶貴的出產。」（雅五7）如果出產尚未成熟，祂就不能收割。祂知道甚麼時候我們的靈可以接受祝福來榮耀祂。在祂愛的陽光下等候會叫我們漸漸成熟，在試煉的黑雲下等候也是如此。神在差遣祂兒子到世上來以前，自己曾等候了四千年，為的是要等候最適當的時期。親愛的讀者，祂替祂選民復仇的日子快到了，祂就要起來幫助我們了，祂決不會耽延太久，叫我們多等一刻的。　　　　　　　　　　─慕安得烈

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（07月22日）

July 22 "And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you...blessed are all they that wait for him." (Isa. 30:18.) 　ＷE must not only think of our waiting upon God, but also of what is more wonderful still, of God's waiting upon us. The vision of Him waiting on us, will give new impulse and inspiration to our waiting upon Him. It will give us unspeakable confidence the our waiting cannot be in vain. Let us seek even now, at this moment, in the spirit of waiting on God, to find out something of what it means. He has inconceivably glorious purposes concerning every one of His children. And you ask, "How is it, if He waits to be gracious, that even after I come and wait upon Him, He does not give the help I seek, but waits on longer and longer?" 　God is a wise husbandman, "who waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it." He cannot gather the fruit till it is ripe. He knows when we are spiritually ready to receive the blessing to our profit and His glory. Waiting in the sunshine of His love in what will ripen the soul for His blessing. Waiting under the cloud of trial, that breaks in showers of blessings, is as needful. Be assured that if God waits longer than you could wish, it is only to make the blessing doubly precious. God waited four thousand years, till the fullness of time, ere He sent His Son. Our times are in His hands; He will avenge His elect speedily; He will make haste for our help, and not delay one hour too long. 　　　　　　　　　　─Andrew Murray.

■ 永活之泉（07月22日）

七月廿二日　祂兒子的靈「你們既為兒子，神就差祂兒子的靈，進入你們的心，呼叫阿爸，父。」加拉太書四章6節哦！神的兒女！聖靈內住在你裏面，這靈在基督裏，是神聖潔的靈，在客西馬尼園裏主耶穌禱告說：「父阿！願您的旨意成就。」祂教導我們明白天父的慈愛，並以兒女的愛和順服回報之，兒女的靈在我們裏面，正如在基督裏面一樣；祂在禱告生活中把自己彰顯出來，並賜下神的慈愛和聖潔。當神兒子的靈在我裏面啟示基督的時候，我要依靠使我裏面基督的生命能長遠活著，主耶穌曾說過，祂要住在我裏面，我住在祂裏面，祂的靈在我裏面運行。因著聖靈和基督的內住，使我確實經驗基督的心思和祂的性情成形在我心中，並且彰顯出來，我要確信聖靈必完成此工作。此外，聖靈也配合我們的光景，幫助我們去事奉神，向我們啟示基督，使我們成聖。聖靈使我能超越世界並其引誘，成為基督的見證人，就像祂的小孩一樣。祂充滿我，使我能愛弟兄，甚至愛仇敵和不相識的人，以及周圍未得救的人，為他們代禱，準備幫助他們；祂也使我愛全世界的人，熱心傳福音的事工，使人人有機會聽到福音。親愛的弟兄！每天花點時間與主同在，讓你的心對於聖靈要完成的事工充滿信心。

七月廿二日　成聖「神的旨意就是要你們成為聖潔。」帖撒羅尼迦前書四章3節在成聖的問題上，神不但對付生，也要對付死。我們有許多人為要脫去死，花太多的時光。在成聖以前內心的衝突是免不了的，至少是與那不肯順服耶穌基督的情感決鬥。神的靈一旦指示我們成聖的意義，奮鬥就開始了，「人到我這裡來，若不愛我勝過愛自己的……和自己的性命，就不能作我的門徒。」（路十四26）神的靈，在成聖的過程中要剝削我，直剝到除了「一己」──以外，一無所有，那就是所謂對於一切死去了。我願除了「一己」而外，甚麼都不要──不要朋友，不要父親，不要兄弟，不要自私，對這一切的都死了麼？這就是成聖的條件，「我來不是叫地上太平，乃是叫地上動刀兵」（太十35）。耶穌說這話不算甚麼希奇。這就是衝突的開始，在這裡，有許多人失敗了。我們在這點上不肯與耶穌同死。我們說──「這是太嚴厲了，祂不該希望我們做這個。」不錯，我們的主是嚴厲的，祂希望我做這個。我願把自己減而又減，減到一個「光我」，不顧我的朋友如何想我，我的名譽如何如何，只無牽無掛地把「我」交付神麼？我一肯，祂就馬上使我完全成聖，而我的生活，除了與神的關係以外，一切都無掛礙了。當我祈禱的時候說：「主啊，求您指示我成聖的意義，」祂必定指示我。那就是我與耶穌合而為一。成聖並不是耶穌基督灌輸甚麼到我裡面，卻是祂自己在我裡面。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（07月22日）

七月廿二日「或作執事，就當專一執事……」羅馬書十二章7節親愛的朋友，你正在事奉基督嗎？你是否以你的雙手、以你的身體，和你的恩賜事奉祂呢？你是否在你所擺設的筵席中得到最好的？當祂不能出席時，你是否餵養招待那些代表祂的窮人和謙卑的人？如果你不以實際行動表達出你的愛，那麼你的話語和諾言都是空頭支票。馬利亞尚且不敢只拿普通的香料來打發耶穌，她乃是把她最貴重的禮物抹在耶穌腳上。忙碌的人啊！你終日為孩子的衣食、為家中的裝飾勞力，你的手為主賺了些什麼呢？你為耶穌做了些什麼或是犧牲了些什麼呢？某個誠摯的婦人在保證要為主的工作奉獻一筆不少的款子時，有人問她：「妳付得起嗎？」她謙卑的說：「付不起，但是我願為主犧牲。」今天讓我們四處瞧瞧，看看我們在做什麼。然後把更多的愛獻給慈愛的救主，因為祂為我們甚至捨棄了生命。
