耶利米哀歌, 1章

^1:1 先前滿有人民的城，現在何竟獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦；先前在諸省中為王后的，現在成為進貢的。 How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave.
^1:2 她夜間痛哭，淚流滿；在一切所親愛的中間沒有一個安慰她的。她的朋友都以詭詐待她，成為她的仇敵。 Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are upon her cheeks. Among all her lovers there is none to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies.
^1:3 猶大因遭遇苦難，又因多服勞苦就遷到外邦。她住在列國中，尋不著安息；追逼她的都在狹窄之地將她追上。 After affliction and harsh labor, Judah has gone into exile. She dwells among the nations; she finds no resting place. All who pursue her have overtaken her in the midst of her distress.
^1:4 錫安的路徑因無人來守聖節就悲傷；她的城門淒涼；她的祭司歎息；她的處女受艱難，自己也愁苦。 The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed feasts. All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her maidens grieve, and she is in bitter anguish.
^1:5 她的敵人為首；她的仇敵亨通；因耶和華為她許多的罪過使她受苦；她的孩童被敵人擄去。 Her foes have become her masters; her enemies are at ease. The LORD has brought her grief because of her many sins. Her children have gone into exile, captive before the foe.
^1:6 錫安城〔原文是女子；下同〕的威榮全都失去。她的首領像找不著草場的鹿；在追趕的人前無力行走。 All the splendor has departed from the Daughter of Zion. Her princes are like deer that find no pasture; in weakness they have fled before the pursuer.
^1:7 耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之時，就追想古時一切的樂境。她百姓落在敵人手中，無人救濟；敵人看見，就因她的荒涼嗤笑。 In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction.
^1:8 耶路撒冷大大犯罪，所以成為不潔之物；素來尊敬她的，見她赤露就都藐視她；她自己也歎息退後。 Jerusalem has sinned greatly and so has become unclean. All who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns away.
^1:9 她的污穢是在衣襟上；她不思想自己的結局，所以非常地敗落，無人安慰她。她說：耶和華啊，求你看我的苦難，因為仇敵誇大。 Her filthiness clung to her skirts; she did not consider her future. Her fall was astounding; there was none to comfort her. <<Look, O LORD, on my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed.>>
^1:10 敵人伸手，奪取她的美物；她眼見外邦人進入她的聖所─論這外邦人，你曾吩咐不可入你的會中。 The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary-- those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.
^1:11 她的民都歎息，尋求食物；他們用美物換糧食，要救性命。他們說：耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我甚是卑賤。 All her people groan as they search for bread; they barter their treasures for food to keep themselves alive. <<Look, O LORD, and consider, for I am despised.>>
^1:12 你們一切過路的人哪，這事你們不介意嗎？你們要觀看：有像這臨到我的痛苦沒有─就是耶和華在他發烈怒的日子使我所受的苦？ <<Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look around and see. Is any suffering like my suffering that was inflicted on me, that the LORD brought on me in the day of his fierce anger?
^1:13 他從高天使火進入我的骨頭，剋制了我；他鋪下網羅，絆我的腳，使我轉回；他使我終日淒涼發昏。 <<From on high he sent fire, sent it down into my bones. He spread a net for my feet and turned me back. He made me desolate, faint all the day long.
^1:14 我罪過的軛是他手所綁的，猶如軛繩縛在我頸項上；他使我的力量衰敗。主將我交在我所不能敵擋的人手中。 <<My sins have been bound into a yoke; 1:14 Most Hebrew manuscripts; Septuagint ((He kept watch over my sins)) by his hands they were woven together. They have come upon my neck and the Lord has sapped my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.
^1:15 主輕棄我中間的一切勇士，招聚多人〔原文是大會〕攻擊我，要壓碎我的少年人。主將猶大居民踹下，像在酒醡中一樣。 <<The Lord has rejected all the warriors in my midst; he has summoned an army against me to 1:15 Or ((has set a time for me / when he will)) crush my young men. In his winepress the Lord has trampled the Virgin Daughter of Judah.
^1:16 我因這些事哭泣；我眼淚汪汪；因為那當安慰我、救我性命的，離我甚遠。我的兒女孤苦，因為仇敵得了勝。 <<This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My children are destitute because the enemy has prevailed.>>
^1:17 錫安舉手，無人安慰。耶和華論雅各已經出令，使四圍的人作他仇敵；耶路撒冷在他們中間像不潔之物。 Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comfort her. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them.
^1:18 耶和華是公義的！他這樣待我，是因我違背他的命令。眾民哪，請聽我的話，看我的痛苦；我的處女和少年人都被擄去。 <<The LORD is righteous, yet I rebelled against his command. Listen, all you peoples; look upon my suffering. My young men and maidens have gone into exile.
^1:19 我招呼我所親愛的，他們卻愚弄我。我的祭司和長老正尋求食物、救性命的時候，就在城中絕氣。 <<I called to my allies but they betrayed me. My priests and my elders perished in the city while they searched for food to keep themselves alive.
^1:20 耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我在急難中。我心腸擾亂；我心在我裏面翻轉，因我大大悖逆。在外，刀劍使人喪子；在家，猶如死亡。 <<See, O LORD, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.
^1:21 聽見我歎息的有人；安慰我的卻無人！我的仇敵都聽見我所遭的患難；因你做這事，他們都喜樂。你必使你報告的日子來到，他們就像我一樣。 <<People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so they may become like me.
^1:22 願他們的惡行都呈在你面前；你怎樣因我的一切罪過待我，求你照樣待他們；因我歎息甚多，心中發昏。 <<Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.>> 2:0 This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（05月19日）

五月十九日「話還沒有說完……說，耶和華……是應當稱頌的，因祂不斷的以慈愛誠實待我……。」創世記廿四章15、27節每一個正當的禱告，都是「話還沒有說完」，神就答應的。這是因為神已經給了我們祂的應許─凡奉主的名（就是與主並祂旨意合一）無論求甚麼，只要信，就必得著。神不能扺賴祂所應許的，當我們履行了這些簡單的禱告的條件，祂不能不答應我們所求的。我們禱告的「話還沒有說完」，在天上寶座前已經成全了；雖然在地上不一定就能看見。所以禱告之後，最好用讚美來作結束─讚美神已經聽了我們的禱告，讚美神不斷的以慈愛誠實待我們。（參但九20—27，十12）　　　　　　　　　　─譯自晨更信息當我們相信一件事的時候，我們就應該有相信的行為——我們的動作，我們的禱告，都當和我們的信心相符。我們應該算神已經給了我們所求的，這纔是信心的態度。一個婦人結婚之後，她當進入一種的生活態度，一切行動都要以這個結婚的事實為依歸。我們既尊基督是我們的救主，我們成聖稱義的引導，診治我們疾病的醫生，拯救我們的恩主，祂就希望我們亦採取一種新的態度，一切以承認祂是我們的救主，導師，醫生，恩人的事實為依歸，並且盼望的祂確是我們所希望的一樣完全來成全我們。　　　　　　　　　　─選「遵照神的命令禱告，我所祈求的，　在開始的時候，已在向我降臨了」。

May 19 　"And it came to pass, before he had done speaking...and he said, Blessed be Jehovah...who hath not forsaken his lovingkindness and his truth." (Gen. 24:15, 27.) 　ＥVERY right prayer is answered before the prayer itself is finished─before we have "done speaking." This is because God has pledged His Word to us that whatsoever we ask in Christ's name (that is, in oneness with Christ and His will) and in faith, shall be done. 　As God's Word cannot fail, whenever we meet those simple conditions in prayer, the answer to our prayer has been granted and completed in heaven as we pray, even though its showing forth on earth may not occur until long afterward. 　So it is well to close every prayer with praise to God for the answer that He has already granted; He who never forsakes His loving-kindness and his truth. (See Daniel 9:20-27 and 10:12.) 　　　　　　　　　　─Messages for the Morning Watch. 　When we believe for a blessing, we must take the attitude of faith; and begin to act and pray as if we had the blessing. We must treat God as if He hand given us our request. We must lean our weight over upon Him for the thing that we have claimed, and just take it for granted that He gives it, and is going to continue to give it. This is the attitude of trust. 　When the wife is married, she at once falls into a new attitude, and acts in accordance with the fact; and so when we take Christ as our Savior, as our Sanctifier, as our Healer, or as our Deliverer, He expects us to fall into the attitude of recognizing Him in the capacity that we have claimed, and expect Him to be to us all that we have trusted Him for. 　　　　　　　　　　─Selected. ■ 永活之泉（05月19日）

五月十九日　賜人智慧的靈「求榮耀的父，將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們，使你們真知道祂，並照明你們心中的眼睛。」以弗所書一章17、18節從神的話中，我們可看出神和人是如何奇妙的聯合在一起！文字是人類文化的精華，只要有受好教育的人，就明白字句中所含的真理，這就是人可以認識神的能力。在屬靈方面，神將最深的思想銘刻在我們心中；屬肉體的人是無法得到或領會，唯有屬靈的人才能辨明。只有藉著聖靈，基督徒才能應用聖經中的屬靈真理。所以保羅迫切地為眾聖徒禱告，使他們藉著聖靈，眼睛得開啟，明白他所寫的，並且知道祂格外大的能力，要在信徒裏面運行。很多時候，信仰不能落實的原因，乃是我們以智力去接受神的話為真理，並用自己的力量努力去實行。但只有聖靈可將屬靈的真理向我們啟示。一個青年學生可在神學院把神的話當作知識去接受，聖經就有點能力將主耶穌的喜樂和平安帶到他的生命之中。當我讀神的話，保羅教我們要思想並禱告：「父神啊！求您讓聖靈賜下智慧和啟示的靈！」這樣，我們每天就能把神的話看作活潑而有功效，它也會使我們體驗將神的命令變成應許。祂的命令不再是難以遵守；聖靈也會指教我們以活潑而喜樂的態度，去成全祂一切的命令。

五月十九日　脫離敗壞的轄制「誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？」羅馬書八章35節神不使一個人脫離艱苦；祂說：「我與他同受艱苦」。無論實際的艱苦如何嚴重，如何抓住一個人的生命，但沒有一種能使他與神脫離關係的能力。我們「在這一切的事上，已經得勝有餘了」。保羅不是談到幻想的事，卻是談到極實在的事；他說，我們是這些事的絕對勝利者，不是靠我們的才能，也不是靠我們的勇敢，卻是靠那任何東西不能影響我們在耶穌基督裡與神發生關係的事實。無論如何，我們還是在這裡，正在我們現在那種情形之下。在他的環境中沒有甚麼事叫他看見他所不願有的基督徒，我倒替他耽憂。「是患難麼？」患難絕不是一件高尚的事；讓它去好了──疲勞，煩擾，困乏，不能使我們與神的愛隔絕，從不要讓掛慮或患難使你與神的愛分開。「是困苦麼？」如果樣樣事證明神的愛是謊言，也沒有公義那麼一回事，神的愛還能存在麼？「是飢餓麼」？我們不僅在神的愛裡相信，還有勝於此者，甚至於在飢餓的時候，我們還能信麼？一個人的環境否定神的愛的時候，這個人還能相信神是愛，這是表明神的意外的作用。不然耶穌基督是騙者，保羅是被騙者，在這樣的事上，理性是無話可講的了。只有一事能叫我們做到這地步，就是神在基督耶穌裡的愛，每每使「我脫離敗壞的轄制」。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（05月19日）

五月十九日「……凡結果子的，祂就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。」約翰福音十五章2節最近我經過一個園子，那個園子的園丁不久前才結束修剪的工作，所以枝葉中經刀子和鋸齒接觸的地方，正慢慢地痊癒。四月暖和的陽光，正溫柔地賜給受傷的植物新的生命和活力。當我注視著某些樹時，心中不自覺地想：如果那園主從下個星期起，把它們都砍掉的話，那將是多麼殘忍的事啊！還好園丁的責任是使那些樹起死回生，且更茂盛。畢竟樹乃是為活下去而存在，不是為等死而生長在園子裡。這個道理正如我們的靈魂接受訓練一樣。自我也有死去的時刻，但是我們不能總是像死了一般。相反的，我們對罪該認為自己是死的，對神該藉著耶穌基督——我們的主而活。死亡不過是片刻瞬間的事，所以我們必須像復活的子民，越來越靠祂榮耀的生命而活。當我們的生命豐富時，我們就能阻止自我和罪的侵入，以善勝惡。而我們的存在則不再是自我掙扎的壓制，卻會像基督得勝永恆生命的泉水一樣地自然流露。
