耶利米哀歌, 1章

^1:1 先前滿有人民的城，現在何竟獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦；先前在諸省中為王后的，現在成為進貢的。 How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave.
^1:2 她夜間痛哭，淚流滿；在一切所親愛的中間沒有一個安慰她的。她的朋友都以詭詐待她，成為她的仇敵。 Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are upon her cheeks. Among all her lovers there is none to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies.
^1:3 猶大因遭遇苦難，又因多服勞苦就遷到外邦。她住在列國中，尋不著安息；追逼她的都在狹窄之地將她追上。 After affliction and harsh labor, Judah has gone into exile. She dwells among the nations; she finds no resting place. All who pursue her have overtaken her in the midst of her distress.
^1:4 錫安的路徑因無人來守聖節就悲傷；她的城門淒涼；她的祭司歎息；她的處女受艱難，自己也愁苦。 The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed feasts. All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her maidens grieve, and she is in bitter anguish.
^1:5 她的敵人為首；她的仇敵亨通；因耶和華為她許多的罪過使她受苦；她的孩童被敵人擄去。 Her foes have become her masters; her enemies are at ease. The LORD has brought her grief because of her many sins. Her children have gone into exile, captive before the foe.
^1:6 錫安城〔原文是女子；下同〕的威榮全都失去。她的首領像找不著草場的鹿；在追趕的人前無力行走。 All the splendor has departed from the Daughter of Zion. Her princes are like deer that find no pasture; in weakness they have fled before the pursuer.
^1:7 耶路撒冷在困苦窘迫之時，就追想古時一切的樂境。她百姓落在敵人手中，無人救濟；敵人看見，就因她的荒涼嗤笑。 In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction.
^1:8 耶路撒冷大大犯罪，所以成為不潔之物；素來尊敬她的，見她赤露就都藐視她；她自己也歎息退後。 Jerusalem has sinned greatly and so has become unclean. All who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns away.
^1:9 她的污穢是在衣襟上；她不思想自己的結局，所以非常地敗落，無人安慰她。她說：耶和華啊，求你看我的苦難，因為仇敵誇大。 Her filthiness clung to her skirts; she did not consider her future. Her fall was astounding; there was none to comfort her. <<Look, O LORD, on my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed.>>
^1:10 敵人伸手，奪取她的美物；她眼見外邦人進入她的聖所─論這外邦人，你曾吩咐不可入你的會中。 The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary-- those you had forbidden to enter your assembly.
^1:11 她的民都歎息，尋求食物；他們用美物換糧食，要救性命。他們說：耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我甚是卑賤。 All her people groan as they search for bread; they barter their treasures for food to keep themselves alive. <<Look, O LORD, and consider, for I am despised.>>
^1:12 你們一切過路的人哪，這事你們不介意嗎？你們要觀看：有像這臨到我的痛苦沒有─就是耶和華在他發烈怒的日子使我所受的苦？ <<Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look around and see. Is any suffering like my suffering that was inflicted on me, that the LORD brought on me in the day of his fierce anger?
^1:13 他從高天使火進入我的骨頭，剋制了我；他鋪下網羅，絆我的腳，使我轉回；他使我終日淒涼發昏。 <<From on high he sent fire, sent it down into my bones. He spread a net for my feet and turned me back. He made me desolate, faint all the day long.
^1:14 我罪過的軛是他手所綁的，猶如軛繩縛在我頸項上；他使我的力量衰敗。主將我交在我所不能敵擋的人手中。 <<My sins have been bound into a yoke; 1:14 Most Hebrew manuscripts; Septuagint ((He kept watch over my sins)) by his hands they were woven together. They have come upon my neck and the Lord has sapped my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.
^1:15 主輕棄我中間的一切勇士，招聚多人〔原文是大會〕攻擊我，要壓碎我的少年人。主將猶大居民踹下，像在酒醡中一樣。 <<The Lord has rejected all the warriors in my midst; he has summoned an army against me to 1:15 Or ((has set a time for me / when he will)) crush my young men. In his winepress the Lord has trampled the Virgin Daughter of Judah.
^1:16 我因這些事哭泣；我眼淚汪汪；因為那當安慰我、救我性命的，離我甚遠。我的兒女孤苦，因為仇敵得了勝。 <<This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My children are destitute because the enemy has prevailed.>>
^1:17 錫安舉手，無人安慰。耶和華論雅各已經出令，使四圍的人作他仇敵；耶路撒冷在他們中間像不潔之物。 Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comfort her. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them.
^1:18 耶和華是公義的！他這樣待我，是因我違背他的命令。眾民哪，請聽我的話，看我的痛苦；我的處女和少年人都被擄去。 <<The LORD is righteous, yet I rebelled against his command. Listen, all you peoples; look upon my suffering. My young men and maidens have gone into exile.
^1:19 我招呼我所親愛的，他們卻愚弄我。我的祭司和長老正尋求食物、救性命的時候，就在城中絕氣。 <<I called to my allies but they betrayed me. My priests and my elders perished in the city while they searched for food to keep themselves alive.
^1:20 耶和華啊，求你觀看，因為我在急難中。我心腸擾亂；我心在我裏面翻轉，因我大大悖逆。在外，刀劍使人喪子；在家，猶如死亡。 <<See, O LORD, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.
^1:21 聽見我歎息的有人；安慰我的卻無人！我的仇敵都聽見我所遭的患難；因你做這事，他們都喜樂。你必使你報告的日子來到，他們就像我一樣。 <<People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so they may become like me.
^1:22 願他們的惡行都呈在你面前；你怎樣因我的一切罪過待我，求你照樣待他們；因我歎息甚多，心中發昏。 <<Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint.>> 2:0 This chapter is an acrostic poem, the verses of which begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

九月廿五日「我為何……時常哀痛呢？」詩篇四二篇9節信徒啊，你能不能回答這個問句呢？你有沒有甚麼理由叫你時常哀痛毫無喜樂呢？你為甚麼容讓未來的憂鬱這樣摧殘你呢？誰告訴你黑夜永不會變成白晝呢？誰告訴你冬日的霜雪冰雹永不會融解呢？誰告訴你今日的風雨會越下越大呢？誰告訴你的失望會變成絕望呢？豈不知黑夜一過就是白晝麼？豈不知嚴冬一過就是春夏麼？所以你當仰望神！　　　　　　　　　　─司布真祂比我的一切希望更好，　用不著過去那樣的憂心忡忡，祂補綴我破碎的工作，　把我眼淚造成彩虹，我在海上航行，雖四圍波浪出湧　但主坐在那些波浪的頂峰。當我在荒漠中前進的時候，我能靠著祂休息，舒泰從容。祂使我失去財寶，兩手空空，　然後顯示祂那聖約的愛護，我痛苦的心中不再有一點創傷，　祂的芬芳治癒了我的疾痼。祂的懲戒是多麼溫柔而真誠，　祂以智慧來教導和試煉，直到祂選中的靈魂信靠了祂。　對世俗的一切都不再留戀。祂在我看不見的陌生路上，　引導我向前邁進，我單獨跟隨著主的時候，　曲徑變直，山坡變為坦途。我讚美祂在沿路賜我泉水，　給我遮蔭的棕櫚樹林，在白天堆起掩護的雲，　夜間昇起光明的火柱。每當祂看到我力竭而停步，　祂的眼裏總含有愛的諾言，我回顧已往，知道未來，　遠比我擔憂的更為安全。像發過芽的杖，　像盛有嗎哪的金罐，照主的律法，安置在約櫃上，　都受到聖約的扶持。

Who told thee that the night would never end in day? Who told thee that the winter of thy discontent would proceed from frost to frost, from snow and ice, and hail, to deeper snow, and yet more heavy tempest of depair? ■ 永活之泉（09月25日）

九月廿五日　被聖靈充滿「要被聖靈充滿，當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主，凡事……常常感謝父神。」以弗所書五章18—20節通常我們以為「被聖靈充滿」只是產生在五旬節史實之中，是特別的事件，並不會產生在如我平凡者的生命中；但今天的經文告訴我們，這是每位基督徒在每天生命之中都可經歷到的。這完全是真實的，想想聖靈在基督耶穌裏面，當祂在世為人之時就充滿祂。由於祂完全降服、犧牲成為人的樣式，與罪人一同受洗；當禱告之際就領受聖靈，而一旦被聖靈而滿，就順服聖靈的引導，到曠野禁食四十天，犧牲身體的需要，自由地與父神交通，戰勝了撒但。即使飢餓，祂仍拒絕那惡者引誘提示祂以自己的能力來以石變餅，滿足自己飢餓的需要；祂一生藉著永遠的靈的引導，使祂毫無瑕疵地奉獻給神。聖靈對於基督的意義是：禱告、順服和犧牲。至於我們若傚法耶穌，以祂的心為心，那我們也會天天被聖靈充滿，正如我們獲得日常必需品一樣；而我們也就有順服、喜樂、捨己和有事奉能力的生活。除非我們肯順服聖靈的引導，也就是每天在基督裏，靠著因禱告而得與神相同的生命，得以戰勝老我和世界，向肢體存謙卑、聖潔並結實纍纍的事奉，否則被聖靈充滿對我們而言，只是自我陶醉罷了。總而言之，只有藉著被聖靈充滿，才能完全明瞭並體驗基督所說：「我要永遠與你們同在」的應許。但願沒有人認為這對我而言是不可能，因為「在人不能，在神凡事都能」；當然這並非一蹴可幾，可是我們若有神聖的決心，以此為我們努力的標竿，不斷禱告及滿心期望。「我永遠與你們同在」是隨時可發生在我們日常生活之中，藉著聖靈的幫助，就能成就我們身上，也就是基督所說：「信我的人就有活水江河從他腹中流出來。」我們在基督裏的信心能使我們經驗聖靈充滿，而聖靈所帶來的能力能使我們經驗基督同在的應許。

九月廿五日　超越的關係「有人強逼你走一里，你就同他走二里。」馬太福音五章41節如果耶穌在我們裡面沒有作超然的工作，祂所要求我們的關係是不可能的。耶穌基督所要求於門徒的，是祂遇著強暴和不公道的時候，在祂心裡不存絲毫怨恨的痕跡。耶穌基督所給予祂工人的緊張不是狂熱所能勝過的，只有一件事可以勝過，那就是經過祂所洗淨的人格。這人格對於祂的關係只有一種目的──「我在這裡，請神隨意差遣我。別的事也許朦朧了，這種與耶穌基督的關係是絕不可朦朧的」。山上寶訓不是一種理想，是我內部情形的一種說明。如果耶穌基督改變我的性質，把祂同樣的性質賜給我，則山上寶訓，就要在我裡面發生。完成山上寶訓唯一的一位，就是耶穌基督。如果我們要作耶穌的門徒，我們必要靠著超越的能力；若是我們決志作門徒，就準定知道我們不是門徒，因為門徒不是自己揀選的。「是我揀選了你們，」這是神的恩典，同時也是我們不能擺脫的約束。我們能不服從這恩典，但不能產生它。吸引，是因神超然恩典的工作，但我們從不能追尋這工作開始的地方。我們的主是用超然的力量造就門徒。完全不用人的才能。神不求我們做容易做的事；祂只求我們，因祂的恩典，去做我們十分適宜的事，而十字架也將順著那條路線到來。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（09月25日）

九月廿五日「……我如今在肉身活著，是因信神的兒子而活……」加拉太書二章20節讓我們來學習信心的秘訣。信心的秘訣是讓基督的信心，從我們內心中發出來，並且在考驗中我們仍能倚靠主。這種信心必能使我們經常高唱「……我如今在肉身活著，是因信神的兒子而活，祂是愛我，為我捨己。」這樣的歌詞。而且我們若是真正仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌(來十二2)，我們會發現自己安靜地等候神的應許，而不再掙扎著強要神的應許成就，更能藉基督的信心忍受一切。每當我們有新的需要時，我們會再一次為著得著信心的恩典，以及克服困難的恩典來依靠祂。現在讓我們進一步看看禱告的真正精神，禱告是基督的靈在我們裡面，使我們能讚美祂。基督今天仍然在倚靠祂的人心中，唱著讚美詩。祂並且使我們的禱告提昇成為勝利的詩歌。這才是禱告的真正精神。保羅和西拉在腓立比的監獄中，就是轉禱告成為讚美、使黑暗變為白晝、夜間的悲哀變為清晨的喜樂。總之，耶穌以信心的靈住在我們裡面，祂亦是讚美的靈。
