1:2 願憐恤、平安、慈愛多多的加給你們。 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. 1:3 親愛的弟兄啊，我想盡心寫信給你們，論我們同得救恩的時候，就不得不寫信勸你們，要為從前一次交付聖徒的真道竭力的爭辯。 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. 1:4 因為有些人偷著進來，就是自古被定受刑罰的，是不虔誠的，將我們 神的恩變作放縱情慾的機會，並且不認獨一的主宰─我們〔或譯和我們〕主耶穌基督。 For certain men whose condemnation was written about(\f2 4 Or|i men who were marked out for condemnation|d) long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. 1:5 從前主救了他的百姓出埃及地，後來就把那些不信的滅絕了。這一切的事，你們雖然都知道，我卻仍要提醒你們。 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord(\f3 5 Some early manuscripts|i Jesus|d) delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. 1:6 又有不守本位、離開自己住處的天使，主用鎖鍊把他們永遠拘留在黑暗裏，等候大日的審判。 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home--these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 1:7 又如所多瑪、蛾摩拉和周圍城邑的人，也照他們一味地行淫，隨從逆性的情慾，就受永火的刑罰，作為鑑戒。 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted--twice dead. 1:13 是海裏的狂浪，湧出自己可恥的沫子來；是流蕩的星，有墨黑的幽暗為他們永遠存留。 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. 1:14 亞當的七世孫以諾，曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶著他的千萬聖者降臨， Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: <<See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 1:15 要在眾人身上行審判，證實那一切不敬虔的人，所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又證實不敬虔之罪人所說頂撞他的剛愎話。」 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.>> 1:16 這些人是私下議論，常發怨言的，隨從自己的情慾而行，口中說誇大的話，為得便宜諂媚人。 These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. 1:17 親愛的弟兄啊，你們要記念我們主耶穌基督之使徒從前所說的話。 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 1:18 他們曾對你們說過，末世必有好譏誚的人隨從自己不敬虔的私慾而行。 They said to you, <<In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.>> 1:19 這就是那些引人結黨、屬乎血氣、沒有聖靈的人。 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 1:20 親愛的弟兄啊，你們卻要在至聖的真道上造就自己，在聖靈裏禱告， But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 1:21 保守自己常在 神的愛中，仰望我們主耶穌基督的憐憫，直到永生。 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. 1:22 有些人存疑心，你們要憐憫他們； Be merciful to those who doubt; 1:23 有些人你們要從火中搶出來，搭救他們；有些人你們要存懼怕的心憐憫他們，連那被情慾沾染的衣服也當厭惡。 snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. 1:24 那能保守你們不失腳、叫你們無瑕無疵、歡歡喜喜站在他榮耀之前的我們的救主─獨一的 神， To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-- 1:25 願榮耀、威嚴、能力、權柄，因我們的主耶穌基督歸與他，從萬古以前並現今，直到永永遠遠。阿們。 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! 十二月七日 「你們雖不見風、不見雨，這谷必滿了水，使你和牲畜有水喝。」列王紀下三章17節 照人看來，這是絕對不可能的事，但是在神沒有難事。沒有風、沒有雨、沒有響聲、沒有徵兆；但是次日早晨，有水從以東而來，溝中就滿了澄清的水。 我們常喜歡憑徵兆、憑感覺；沒有表顯，我們的心不會滿足，但是最大的信心的勝利乃是在安靜中知道祂是神。 最大的信心的勝利乃是站在不能通行的紅海面前，聽耶和華說：「只管站住，看耶和華……的救恩。」（出十四13）和「往前走。」（15節）我們舉步的時候，沒有聲響，也沒有徵兆，第一步跨下去的時候，腳還沿著水，但若勇往直前走去，海分開了，水裏展開了一條通道。 質問不是信心的事。服從纔是信心的事。他們必須先挖溝，然後纔有水來。他們必須先服從，然後纔有祝福臨到。這是我們信心的功課！ 信徒啊，你是不是在渴望屬靈的祝福呢？挖開你的溝來，神會用想不到的方法來填滿它們的。 哦，巴不得我們行事只憑信心，不憑眼見；我們雖不見風、不見雨，仍當仰望神來工作！ ─宣信
■ 英文荒漠甘泉（12月07日）
December 7 "Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hands." (2 Kings 3:17-18) ＴO human thinking it was simply impossible, but nothing is hard for God. Without a sound or sign, from sources invisible and apparently impossible, the floods came stealing in all night long; and when the morning dawned, those ditches were flooded with the crystal waters, and reflecting the rays of the morning sun from the red hills of Edom. Our unbelief is always wanting some outward sign. The religion of many is largely sensational, and they are not satisfied of its genuineness without manifestations, ect.; but the greatest triumph of faith is to be still and know that He is God. The great victory of faith is to stand before some impassable Red Sea, and hear the Master say, "Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord," and "Go forward!" As we step out without any sign or sound-not a wave- splash-and wetting our very feet as we take the first step into its waters, still marching on we shall see the sea divide and the pathway open through the very midst of the water. If we have seen the miraculous workings of God in some marvelous case of healing or some extraordinary providential deliverance, I am sure the thing that has impressed us most has been the quietness with which it was all done, the absence of everything spectacular and sensational, and the utter sense of nothingness which came to us as we stood in the presence of this mighty God and felt how easy it was for Him to do it all without the faintest effort on His part or the slightest help on ours. It is not the part of faith to question, but to obey. The ditches were made, and the water came pouring in from some supernatural source. What a lesson for our faith! Are you craving a spiritual blessing? Open the trenches, and God will fill them. And this too, in the most unexpected places and in the most unexpected ways. Oh, for that faith that can act by faith and not by sight, and expect God to work although we see no wind or rain. －A. B. Simpson.
■ 永活之泉（12月07日）
十二月七日 真教會的記號 「你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」約翰福音十三章35節 我們大多數人在學習教義時，認為理想的教會是合適地傳揚信息，儘量避免一些聖禮，像基督教學校一樣；但基督卻有較寬廣的看法，教會教導的責任不僅在區分信徒的特徵，而是要培養信徒愛弟兄的生活。 最要緊的是我們要明瞭，在神來看「愛」是最崇高的、是祂榮耀的終極；道成肉身的基督耶穌在十字架上把愛表現得淋漓盡致，我們也因此在這愛的每件事上受恩惠。在愛裏，基督甘願為我們而死，而神也將祂升到主和基督的地位。愛的能力打碎我心，亦能醫治我們；愛的能力藉著基督的內住而在我們裏面運行，改變我們天然的個性，使我們完全降服在神面前，也賜給我們一個聖潔而喜樂的生命，完全祝福別人，使每位基督徒能像面鏡子般地返射神的愛。 唉！這些事基督徒實行的何其少，他們企圖尋找人間愛的方法去愛基督和弟兄，卻告失敗；他們也確知世間的情愛不可能讓我們有如此生命，以致沒有迫切地為此禱告。但他們卻不知道神的愛能藉著聖靈來澆灌我們而產生愛的能力。 哦！這個至大的真理能支持我們。神的愛藉著聖靈澆灌到我們心中，假如我們相信聖靈繼續住在我們心中，那我們就能不斷支取屬天的愛；而我們也瞭解基督所說：「我所做的事，信我的人也要做。」我們也因此可以去愛神和弟兄，甚至仇敵，並且「藉著聖靈」，也有愛的泉源在我們心中。

十二月七日 悔改 「因為依著神的意思憂愁，就生出沒有後悔的懊悔來，以致得救。」哥林多後書七章10節 下面的話，是罪之自責的一段最好的描寫： 「我的罪，我的罪，我的救主它們是怎樣的落在您身上。」 罪之自責，是人很少注意的事，可是是瞭解神的途徑。耶穌基督說，當聖靈來的時候，必指責人的罪惡，激發人的良心，把人領到神的面前。祂與人的關係不是叫人煩悶，卻是叫人與神發生關係──「我向您犯罪，惟獨得罪了您，在您面前行了這惡。」罪之自責，赦罪的奇妙和聖潔織成一片，因此只有蒙赦的人，是聖潔的。他在做人上與以前不同，在神的恩典上表示他是蒙救的人。悔改乃是使人達到這一點：「我犯了罪。」當一個人說這一句話，而且是心口如一的時候，便是神正在工作最確切的表示。不然悔改錯行，不過是厭惡自己的反射動作，是沒有意思的。 藉著悔改的慘痛，扎入人的善性裡，便是進入天國；產生痛苦的聖靈，然後將神的兒子，造在我的生命裡面。這新生命所表現的是覺醒的悔改，和不知不覺的成聖，絕不會有與這相反的表現。基督教的基石是悔改。嚴格的說來，一個人不能自選悔改的時候，悔改是神的恩賜。從前的清教徒常禱求「眼淚的恩賜。」如果你不欲悔改，你便在黑暗裡了。省察自己，看看你是否遺失了痛悔憂傷的心靈。

十二月七日 「……日頭已經平西了，請你同我們住下吧！」路加福音廿四章29節 在主耶穌給門徒的最後信息中，也就是在約翰福音十四及十五章中的教導，主耶穌強調最高聖潔的精神，乃在於常在主裡；因為離了主，我們就不能做甚麼(約十五4、5)。 主耶穌之所以應許聖靈，其目的乃是為了顯現主。正如主自己所說的話：「到那日，你們就知道我在父裡面。你們在我裡面，我也在你們裡面。」約翰福音十七章26節是主耶穌離別時所作禱告的最後幾個字。祂說：「……我也在他們裡面。」可見這幾個字是多麼深具意義呀！ 藉著主的力量， 我能從罪的污染中得到潔淨。 靠著祂住在我裡面， 我能時刻行在您旨意中。 主的應許既豐富且不需我們付上任何代價。 奇妙的救主， 這等潔淨、赦免的恩典， 您竟全然白白地賜給了我。
