耶利米書, 1章

^1:1 便雅憫地亞拿突城的祭司中，希勒家的兒子耶利米的話記在下面。 The words of Jeremiah son of Hilkiah, one of the priests at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin.
^1:2 猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞在位十三年，耶和華的話臨到耶利米。 The word of the LORD came to him in the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah,
^1:3 從猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬在位的時候，直到猶大王約西亞的兒子西底家在位的末年，就是十一年五月間耶路撒冷人被擄的時候，耶和華的話也常臨到耶利米。 and through the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, down to the fifth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.
^1:4 耶利米說，耶和華的話臨到我說： The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
^1:5 我未將你造在腹中，我已曉得你；你未出母胎，我已分別你為聖；我已派你作列國的先知。 <<Before I formed you in the womb I knew 1:5 Or ((chose)) you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.>>
^1:6 我就說：主耶和華啊，我不知怎樣說，因為我是年幼的。 <<Ah, Sovereign LORD,>> I said, <<I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.>>
^1:7 耶和華對我說：你不要說我是年幼的，因為我差遣你到誰那裏去，你都要去；我吩咐你說甚麼話，你都要說。 But the LORD said to me, <<Do not say, <I am only a child.> You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.
^1:8 你不要懼怕他們，因為我與你同在，要拯救你。這是耶和華說的。 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,>> declares the LORD.
^1:9 於是耶和華伸手按我的口，對我說：我已將當說的話傳給你。 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, <<Now, I have put my words in your mouth.
^1:10 看哪，我今日立你在列邦列國之上，為要施行拔出、拆毀、毀壞、傾覆，又要建立、栽植。 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.>>
^1:11 耶和華的話又臨到我說：「耶利米，你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見一根杏樹枝。」 The word of the LORD came to me: <<What do you see, Jeremiah?>> <<I see the branch of an almond tree,>> I replied.
^1:12 耶和華對我說：「你看得不錯；因為我留意保守我的話，使得成就。」 The LORD said to me, <<You have seen correctly, for I am watching 1:12 The Hebrew for ((watching)) sounds like the Hebrew for ((almond tree.)) to see that my word is fulfilled.>>
^1:13 耶和華的話第二次臨到我說：「你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見一個燒開的鍋，從北而傾。」 The word of the LORD came to me again: <<What do you see?>> <<I see a boiling pot, tilting away from the north,>> I answered.
^1:14 耶和華對我說：「必有災禍從北方發出，臨到這地的一切居民。」 The LORD said to me, <<From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.
^1:15 耶和華說：「看哪，我要召北方列國的眾族；他們要來，各安座位在耶路撒冷的城門口，周圍攻擊城牆，又要攻擊猶大的一切城邑。 I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,>> declares the LORD. <<Their kings will come and set up their thrones in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem; they will come against all her surrounding walls and against all the towns of Judah.
^1:16 至於這民的一切惡，就是離棄我、向別神燒香、跪拜自己手所造的，我要發出我的判語，攻擊他們。 I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made.
^1:17 所以你當束腰，起來將我所吩咐你的一切話告訴他們；不要因他們驚惶，免得我使你在他們面前驚惶。 <<Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.
^1:18 看哪，我今日使你成為堅城、鐵柱、銅牆，與全地和猶大的君王、首領、祭司，並地上的眾民反對。 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land--against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land.
^1:19 他們要攻擊你，卻不能勝你；因為我與你同在，要拯救你。這是耶和華說的。」 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,>> declares the LORD.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

十月十八日「你要的確知道，你的後裔必寄居別人的地……那地的人要苦待他們四百年……後來他們必帶著許多財物，從那裡出來。」創世記十五章13、14節神給我們的祝福中間，有兩個是我們所最不歡迎的：一個是遲延，一個是苦難。神給亞伯蘭本身的一個誓約尚未實現，現在又給他的後裔一個同樣彷彿不可忍耐的誓約。但是無論如何，這些誓約雖然遲延，至終都得到了實現：以色列人出埃及的時候，果然「把埃及人的財物奪去了。」（出十二36）神常用遲延和苦難來試驗我們；但是在這一切中間卻站著神的誓約─—祂在基督裡與我們所立的新約。所以讓我們為著遲延和苦難來讚美祂罷，因為這是祂給我們的祝福。　　　　　　　　　　─崔倫保多年來你從苦痛中發生的禱告，　是不是至今還沒有得到回音？信心在消沈，希望在幻滅嗎？　你可是灰心得淚下沿襟？莫說天父未曾聽到你的祈禱，　總有一天，你期望的音信必然降臨。還沒有回音？莫說未蒙接受；　也許你的事還沒有全部完工。在你首次祈禱時就動手，　神作諸事向來有始有終。只要你繼續虔誠崇拜，　某時某地你必見祂榮光。還沒有回音？信心決不會徒勞，　它堅定安穩，如在磐石植根；在最響的霹靂之下不喪膽，　在狂風暴雨裏顯出堅貞，它知道萬能的神已聽見它祈禱，　高喊道：某時某地，這事必成。　　　　　　　　　　─布朗妮

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月18日）

October 18 "Know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs;...they shall afflict them four hundred years;... and afterward they shall come out with great substance."(Gen. 15:13-14) 　ＡN assured part of God's pledged blessing to us in delay and suffering. A delay in Abram's own lifetime that seemed to put God's pledge beyond fulfillment was followed by seemingly unendurable delay of Abram's descendants. But it was only a delay: they "came out with great substance." The pledge was redeemed. 　God is going to test me with delays; and with the delays will come suffering, but through it all stands God's pledge: His new covenant with me in Christ, and His inviolable promise of every lesser blessing that I need. The delay and the suffering are part of the promised blessing; let me praise Him for them today; and let me wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen my Heart. 　　　　　　　　　　－G. G. ■ 永活之泉（10月18日）

十月十八日　神的羔羊「神的羔羊是以父神所賜永遠的慈愛和溫柔為其心志，而自己以復活將溫柔和慈愛賜給已墮落的人類；當我們思想到這位升到高天的羔羊，仍離我們如此的近，從天降在我們中間卻仍舊在天，是有何等的安慰。」哦！我能與神和好是何等的美！一旦治死老我是何其喜樂！聖化的生活，又是何其有福！唯有您能使我除掉罪惡，無論往何處去都帶領管理我；您能除去老我，領我歸向神，您有天地最大的權柄能力，除有您的啟示我無法放任我的思想，及其語文的能力，或其他為自己安排的事，而這種生活的記號就是心靈得安息。污穢而勞苦的老我得自由，自然的活出溫柔、謙卑、忍耐與神的靈和好，喜樂的等待新郎，除了參與羔羊娶妻的婚宴別無所盼。這個婚宴象徵神人有永遠的合一，換句話說就是愛的靈在我們心靈中產生，我們可得到神所賜的平安和喜樂，而吹滅未得平安喜樂前有的東西。使你持守具有溫柔、謙卑、忍耐和與神和好的方法，就是你必須讓自己的老我實在地治死，而得到更大的榮光，在每件事上都使自己完全的死，並降服在羔羊溫柔的靈之下。「神的羔羊有能力使我們脫離墮落的光，具有祂溫柔而謙卑的德性。」讓我們傾聽羔羊的呼喚：「你們要學我的樣式，我心柔和謙卑。」神是何等高舉祂的謙卑，讓我們脫去老舊的生活，傚法祂謙卑柔和的心，我們的心自然可得享安息。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月18日）

十月十八日　宣教師靈修的鎖鑰「因他們是為主的名出外。」約翰三書7節我們的主告訴我們對於祂的愛，將如何表現出來。「你愛我麼？」「你能餧養我的羊。」──把你自己與我在別人裡面的興趣同化起來，不是把我與你在別人裡面的興趣同化起來。哥林多前書十三章4—8節道出了這種愛的性質，這就是神的愛自身的表現。我愛耶穌的測驗，是實際的，其餘的都是情感的胡言。忠於耶穌基督，是聖靈在我裡面所作成的救贖工作。這聖靈將神的愛，散開在我心裡，而那愛藉著我與別人接贖時發生有效的工作。從理性方面看，雖然可以否認祂，說祂像朝霧一樣無力，然而我依舊忠於祂的名。宣教師靈修的鎖鑰，是除了我們的主以外，不與任何人發生連結。我們的主在外表上，雖是沒有離開事物，在平常事物中往往來來；祂的內心卻是朝向神。我們表面所離避的事，反而內部有很重要連的結。宣教師的忠誠，是保持他的心靈朝向主耶穌基督的本性。我們的主所差出從事祂的事業的男女，是平常的資材，不過加上從聖靈所得來的，對於祂的忠心。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月18日）

十月十八日「並且被造的，沒有一樣在祂面前不顯然的；原來萬物在那與我們有關係的主眼前，都是赤露敞開的。」希伯來書四章13節「赤露敞開」這幾個字，使我們很容易聯想到在競技場上的運動員。雖然他竭力爭戰，但最後卻敗在對手的腳下。他不僅手上失去了武器，更是處於完全無助的狀態下。他躺在地上，既不能再攻擊，甚至手都提不起來。他的情況真可謂赤露敞開，既無武器，又無能力。那時他只有在對手的腳下求情了。神要我們來到祂面前也是赤露敞開的，因為那時我們會停止自己的掙扎、奮鬥、改進，而完全無助地向神求恩典。這其實也是罪人惟一的希望，因為惟有在我們來到祂腳前求恩典時，耶穌才能舉起我們，賜給我們所期待的完備救恩。願意有更深更高屬靈生命的基督徒，必須得先承認自己是無價值、無助的。並且願意在耶穌腳前赤露敞開地躺下。
