創世紀, 1章

^1:1 起初，神創造天地。 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
^1:2 地是空虛混沌，淵面黑暗；神的靈運行在水面上。 Now the earth was 1:2 Or possibly ((became)) formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
^1:3 神說：要有光，就有了光。 And God said, <<Let there be light,>> and there was light.
^1:4 神看光是好的，就把光暗分開了。 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
^1:5 神稱光為晝，稱暗為夜。有晚上，有早晨，這是頭一日。 God called the light <<day,>> and the darkness he called <<night.>> And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.
^1:6 神說：諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。 And God said, <<Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.>>
^1:7 神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
^1:8 神稱空氣為天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。 God called the expanse <<sky.>> And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day.
^1:9 神說：天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來。事就這樣成了。 And God said, <<Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.>> And it was so.
^1:10 神稱旱地為地，稱水的聚處為海。神看著是好的。 God called the dry ground <<land,>> and the gathered waters he called <<seas.>> And God saw that it was good.
^1:11 神說：地要發生青草和結種子的菜蔬，並結果子的樹木，各從其類，果子都包著核。事就這樣成了。 Then God said, <<Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.>> And it was so.
^1:12 於是地發生了青草和結種子的菜蔬，各從其類；並結果子的樹木，各從其類；果子都包著核。神看著是好的。 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
^1:13 有晚上，有早晨，是第三日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day.
^1:14 神說：天上要有光體，可以分晝夜，作記號，定節令、日子、年歲， And God said, <<Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
^1:15 並要發光在天空，普照在地上。事就這樣成了。 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.>> And it was so.
^1:16 於是神造了兩個大光，大的管晝，小的管夜，又造眾星， God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
^1:17 就把這些光擺列在天空，普照在地上， God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,
^1:18 管理晝夜，分別明暗。神看著是好的。 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
^1:19 有晚上，有早晨，是第四日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.
^1:20 神說：水要多多滋生有生命的物；要有雀鳥飛在地面以上，天空之中。 And God said, <<Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.>>
^1:21 神就造出大魚和水中所滋生各樣有生命的動物，各從其類；又造出各樣飛鳥，各從其類。神看著是好的。 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
^1:22 神就賜福給這一切，說：滋生繁多，充滿海中的水；雀鳥也要多生在地上。 God blessed them and said, <<Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.>>
^1:23 有晚上，有早晨，是第五日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day.
^1:24 神說：地要生出活物來，各從其類；牲畜、昆蟲、野獸，各從其類。事就這樣成了。 And God said, <<Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.>> And it was so.
^1:25 於是神造出野獸，各從其類；牲畜，各從其類；地上一切昆蟲，各從其類。神看著是好的。 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
^1:26 神說：我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式造人，使他們管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜，和全地，地上所爬的一切昆蟲。 Then God said, <<Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, 1:26 Hebrew; Syriac ((all the wild animals)) and over all the creatures that move along the ground.>>
^1:27 神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女。 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
^1:28 神就賜福給他們，又對他們說：要生養眾多，遍滿地面，治理這地，也要管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥，和地上各樣動的活物。 God blessed them and said to them, <<Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.>>
^1:29 神說：看那，我將遍地上一切結種子的菜蔬和一切樹上所結有核的果子全賜給你們作食物。 Then God said, <<I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
^1:30 至於地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥，並各樣爬在地上有生命的物，我將青草賜給他們作食物。事就這樣成了。 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food.>> And it was so.
^1:31 神看著一切所造的都甚好。有晚上，有早晨，是第六日。 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（09月22日）

九月廿二日「主又說……撒但想要得著你們，好篩你們，像篩麥子一樣。但我已經為你祈求，叫你不至於失了信心。」路加福音廿二章31節、32節神試驗我們的時候，把我們的信心當作射擊的箭靶；如果別的可以免去試驗的話，信心是定規免不了試驗的。信心最大的試煉乃是被世人遺棄。許多時候神把我們喜樂的甲冑剝去，讓我們遭遇一些恐懼戰兢的經歷，要看我們的信心在試煉中受不受到傷損。真實的信心能絲毫受不到傷損。　　　　　　　　　　─司布真保羅說：「所信的道我已經守住了。」（提後四7）雖然他的頭他沒有守住。人們雖能把他的頭斬去，卻不能把他的信心斬去。這位外邦人的大使徒自以為樂的有三件事——「那美好的仗我已經打過了。當跑的路我已經跑盡了。所信的道我已經守住了。」其餘的一切算甚麼呢？他獲得了勝利；他贏得了獎賞；他不但在地上得到欽仰，並且在天上得到稱讚。為甚麼我們不能像他那樣將萬事當作有損的為要得著基督呢？為甚麼我們不能像他那樣忠於真理呢？啊，這是因為我們沒有他的算學。他和我們算得不同；我們算為得著的，他算作有損的。但是如果我們要像他那樣得戴冠冕，就必須有他那樣的信心，並且像他那樣守住信心。

September 22 "And the Lord said...Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat; but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not." (Luke 22:31, 32.) 　ＯUR faith is the center of the target at which God doth shoot when He tries us; and if any other grace shall escape untried, certainly faith shall not. There is no way of piercing faith to its very marrow like the sticking of the arrow of desertion into it; this finds it out whether it be of the immortals or no. Strip it of its armor of conscious enjoyment, and suffer the terrors of the Lord to set themselves in array against it; and that is faith indeed which can escape unhurt from the midst of the attack. Faith must be tried, and seeming desertion is the furnace, heated seven times, into which it might be thrust. Blest the man who can endure the ordeal! 　　　　　　　　　　─C. H. Spurgeon. 　Paul said, "I have kept the faith," but he lost his head! They cut that off, but it didn't touch his faith. He rejoiced in three things─this great Apostle to the Gentiles; he had "fought a good fight," he had "finished his course," he had "kept the faith." What did all the rest amount to? St. Paul won the race; he gained the prize, and he has not only the admiration of earth today, but the admiration of Heaven. Why do we not act as if it paid to lose all to win Christ? Why are we not loyal to truch as he was? Ah, we haven't his arithmetic. He counted differently from us; we count the things gain that he connted loss. We must have his faith, and keep it if we would wear the same crown.

■ 永活之泉（09月22日）

九月廿二日　保羅的宣教信息「你們要恆切禱告……也要為我們禱告，求神給我們開傳道的門，能以講基督的奧秘……叫我按著所該說的話將這奧秘發明出來。」歌羅西書四章2－4節「（這奧秘）如今向祂的聖徒顯明瞭，神願意叫他們知道，這奧秘在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望。」歌羅西書一章26—27節保羅認為福音的中心和實質是內住的基督。他說到：「這福音有何等豐盛的榮耀——基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望」，想想保羅已傳了這麼多年的福音，他仍然要求別人為他代禱，使他能把福音的奧秘闡明得正確。當教會發現聖工沒有什麼成果，為耶穌基督做見證只有一點兒喜樂和能力，就開始發怨言；當有此問題時，教會中經歷過基督內住的傳道人，應將其訣要教導或傳遞給其他神的兒女。幾年前，我們有位傳道人代表其教會前往國外宣教地區，臨去前有個禱告聚會，他問該傳什麼信息，有人提議對基督徒要傳全備的福音，就是將救恩帶到各人家中，並且衷心相信接受基督的內住；講到這些極有興趣的真理時，很多人認為以前並沒有如此正確的認識。馬可林博士曾說，幾年前教會似乎失去基督內住的真理，我們談到保羅的方法，有位極力叫著：豈不更要保羅所傳「基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望」的信心？保羅感覺到需要教會的代禱，使他將信息闡明得正確，這豈不是提醒那些為宣教師代禱的人，注視他們的對象並自己體驗得能力的方法，正確領導基督徒享受之！「假如有人愛我，就必遵守我的命令，我父也必愛他，而我們會內住在他裏面」。家裏的教導也因「基督在你們裏面成了有榮耀的盼望」得以復興而蒙福。

■ 中文屬天日子（09月22日）

九月廿二日　宣教師的主人「你們稱呼我夫子，稱呼我主，你們說的不錯，我本來是。」約翰福音十三章13節有一個主人和被人所主不是一件事。有一個主人其意是有一個知道我的人，比我知道自己，還要清楚些。祂比朋友親密。祂能探到我的心底，使它滿足。祂是使我覺悟，解決我心中難題的一位。有一位主人，不是別的，就是這──「因為只有一位是你們的師尊，就是基督。」（太廿三10）我們的主從不強人服從，也不取擇方法叫我們做祂所要做的。有時，我們希望神管教，吩咐我們做這做那，但祂不這樣。有時，我們不希望祂管教，但是祂又不如此。「你們稱呼我夫子，稱呼我主」──但是祂是的麼？夫子和主，在我們的口裡是沒有地位的，我們寧願用「救我們的」，「使我們成聖的」「醫治我們的」等等名詞。在經驗中那描寫主人地位的字，是「愛」字，神在主人地位上所顯示的愛，我們知道的實在太少。從我們用「服從」這句話，就可以證明我們所知道的不多。在聖經裡，服從是以同類關係為根據的，例如子與父的關係。我們的主不是神的僕人，是祂的兒子。「祂雖然為兒子，還學了順從……」。如果我們以為是受他人的支配，那就證明我們沒有主人。如果那是我們對於耶穌的態度，那我們離祂想望我們的關係太遠。祂希望我們與祂的關係，是祂是和善的主人，我們一點不感覺祂是主人；我們只知道屬於祂，服從祂。

九月廿二日「……只是如今我們還不見萬物都服祂。惟見……耶穌。」希伯來書二章8—9節這兩節經節對我們而言，是何等真實啊！儘管有許多的事，似乎看起來比我們強壯。但是萬物一切都服在耶穌腳下，而且祂還得了尊貴榮耀為冠冕。耶穌是我們的頭、我們的代表，無論祂在那裡，我們也將在那裡。因此，當我們看不到神所應許的，也見不著自己曾經所要求的，讓我們仰望神，看著祂來實現祂的應許、賜給我們一切所需。我們只不過是半個圓，屬天的那方才是一個完整的圓；雖然我們看不見彩虹上端的半個天空，但是彩虹有一天將圍繞著神的寶座，甚至會圍繞另一個半球中，我們未結束的生活。靠著信心，讓我們進入我們的基業。讓我們放眼往北、往南、往東、往西觀望，並且聽祂說：「凡你所看見的一切地，我都要賜給你……。」(創十三15)讓我們記住：祂的圓是完全的，祂的基業是無限的，萬物一切都服在耶穌腳下。
