創世紀, 1章

^1:1 起初，神創造天地。 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
^1:2 地是空虛混沌，淵面黑暗；神的靈運行在水面上。 Now the earth was 1:2 Or possibly ((became)) formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
^1:3 神說：要有光，就有了光。 And God said, <<Let there be light,>> and there was light.
^1:4 神看光是好的，就把光暗分開了。 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
^1:5 神稱光為晝，稱暗為夜。有晚上，有早晨，這是頭一日。 God called the light <<day,>> and the darkness he called <<night.>> And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.
^1:6 神說：諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。 And God said, <<Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.>>
^1:7 神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
^1:8 神稱空氣為天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。 God called the expanse <<sky.>> And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day.
^1:9 神說：天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來。事就這樣成了。 And God said, <<Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.>> And it was so.
^1:10 神稱旱地為地，稱水的聚處為海。神看著是好的。 God called the dry ground <<land,>> and the gathered waters he called <<seas.>> And God saw that it was good.
^1:11 神說：地要發生青草和結種子的菜蔬，並結果子的樹木，各從其類，果子都包著核。事就這樣成了。 Then God said, <<Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.>> And it was so.
^1:12 於是地發生了青草和結種子的菜蔬，各從其類；並結果子的樹木，各從其類；果子都包著核。神看著是好的。 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
^1:13 有晚上，有早晨，是第三日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day.
^1:14 神說：天上要有光體，可以分晝夜，作記號，定節令、日子、年歲， And God said, <<Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
^1:15 並要發光在天空，普照在地上。事就這樣成了。 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.>> And it was so.
^1:16 於是神造了兩個大光，大的管晝，小的管夜，又造眾星， God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
^1:17 就把這些光擺列在天空，普照在地上， God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,
^1:18 管理晝夜，分別明暗。神看著是好的。 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
^1:19 有晚上，有早晨，是第四日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.
^1:20 神說：水要多多滋生有生命的物；要有雀鳥飛在地面以上，天空之中。 And God said, <<Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.>>
^1:21 神就造出大魚和水中所滋生各樣有生命的動物，各從其類；又造出各樣飛鳥，各從其類。神看著是好的。 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
^1:22 神就賜福給這一切，說：滋生繁多，充滿海中的水；雀鳥也要多生在地上。 God blessed them and said, <<Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.>>
^1:23 有晚上，有早晨，是第五日。 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day.
^1:24 神說：地要生出活物來，各從其類；牲畜、昆蟲、野獸，各從其類。事就這樣成了。 And God said, <<Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.>> And it was so.
^1:25 於是神造出野獸，各從其類；牲畜，各從其類；地上一切昆蟲，各從其類。神看著是好的。 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
^1:26 神說：我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式造人，使他們管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜，和全地，地上所爬的一切昆蟲。 Then God said, <<Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, 1:26 Hebrew; Syriac ((all the wild animals)) and over all the creatures that move along the ground.>>
^1:27 神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女。 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
^1:28 神就賜福給他們，又對他們說：要生養眾多，遍滿地面，治理這地，也要管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥，和地上各樣動的活物。 God blessed them and said to them, <<Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.>>
^1:29 神說：看那，我將遍地上一切結種子的菜蔬和一切樹上所結有核的果子全賜給你們作食物。 Then God said, <<I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
^1:30 至於地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥，並各樣爬在地上有生命的物，我將青草賜給他們作食物。事就這樣成了。 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food.>> And it was so.
^1:31 神看著一切所造的都甚好。有晚上，有早晨，是第六日。 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月03日）

十月三日「地震後有火……火後有微小的聲音。」列王紀上十九章12節有一位姊妹，在明白神旨這件事上，進步得非常之快；有一次，有人問到她容易進步的祕訣。她簡潔地回答道：「注意裡面的禁止。」真的，我們中間許多人不明白神旨的緣故，就是因為不注意裡面聖靈的禁止。聖靈的聲音是微小的。一個微小的聲音是不容易聽見的，但是卻能叫你覺得——叫你心中覺得一種平穩微小的壓力，好像早晨的微風吹在你臉上那樣覺得。這種微小的聲音，如果你好好注意它，會一次比一次更清楚，一次比一次更容易聽的。當我們全心專注在愛人身上的時候，愛人一句頂輕細的耳語，我們很快地就領會了；聖靈的聲音就是愛人耳語的聲音。但是如果我們不回答他、不理會他、不相信他，愛人也就會不再說甚麼的。神是愛，我們要認識祂和祂的聲音，必須時常留心注意。當你與人談話，正要發言的時候，如果裡面有禁止的話，就該立即閉口不言。當你正要進行某種事業——正當的事業——的時候，如果你靈裡覺得不平安的話，就該立即改變計劃，雖然按照人的智慧來看，這也許是一個頂大的愚昧。在注意裡面的禁止以外，我們還該學習等候神披露祂的旨意。在一切事上讓神替你計劃、替你執行。不要倚靠你自己的聰明。許多時候神的執行和神的計劃似乎相反——祂似乎在反對自己；但是你只要聽從、順服、信靠，雖然看上去這似乎是頂愚昧的事。至終，祂必使「萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處。」（羅八28）所以，如果你要認識神的聲音，你必須先有一個絕對順服的存心——不顧結果，不顧成敗。就是神要你在暗中前進，你也願意順服；因為神自己是你裡面榮耀的光輝。這樣，你就會更認識神、更親近神；甚至在最猛烈的試煉下、最可怕的壓力下，你也會感到神的同在。　　　　　　　　　　─譯自信心的方法

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月03日）

October 3 "And after the earthquake a fire; and after the fire a sound of gentle stillness."(1 Kings 19:12, R.V.,margin.) 　ＳOUL, who made rapid progress in her understanding of the Lord, was once asked the secret of her easy advancement, She repiled tersely, "Mind the checks." And the reason that many of us do not know and better understand Him is, we do not give heed to His gentle checks, His delicate restraints and constraints. His is a still, small voice. A still voice can hardly be heard. It must be felt. A steady, gentle pressure upon the heart and mind like the touch of a morning zephyr to your face. A small voice, quietly, almost timidly spoken in your heart, but if heeded growing noiselessly clearer to your inner ear. His voice is for the ear of love, and love is intent upon hearing even faintest whispers. There comes a time also when love ceases to speak if not responded to, or believed in. He is love, and if you would know Him and His voice, give constant ear to His gentle touches. In conversation, when about to utter some word, give heed to that gentle voice, mind the check and refrain from speech. When about to pursue some course that seems all clear and right and there comes quietly to your spirit a suggestion that has in it the force almost of a conviction, give heed, even if changed plans seem highest folly from standpoint of human wisdom. Learn also to wait on God for the unfolding of His will. Let God form your plans about everything in your mind and heart and then let Hims execute them. Do not possess any wisdom of your own. For many times His execution will seem so contradictory to the plan He gave. He will seem to work against Himself. Simply listen, obey and trust God even when it seems highest folly so to do. He will in the end make "all things work together", but so many times in the first appearance of the outworking of His plans. 　So if you would know His voice, never consider results or possible effects. Obey even when he asks you to move in the dark. He Himself will be gloriously light in you. And there will spring up rapidly in your heart an acquaintanceship and a fellowship with God which will be overpowering in itself to hold you and Him together, even in severest testings and under most terrible pressure. 　　　　　　　　　　─Way of Faith.

■ 永活之泉（10月03日）

十月三日　無所不在的基督「我必與你同在。」出埃及記三章12節人類起初對於神的能力只有何等狹窄的觀念，神首先表示祂的無所不能，就是：「我是全能的神。」在聖經中接踵而來的是祂對其僕人的應許：「我必與你同在。」以表示祂的無所不在；他們應有信心的，以「您與我同在」對答之。當基督對門徒說：「天上、地下所有的權柄都賜給我了。」接著就應許：「我要永遠與你們同在。」這充分顯示祂是無所不在的。詩篇一三九篇的作者，從其經驗讚嘆神的無所不在：「這樣的知識奇妙是我不能測的！至高是我不能及的！」神無所不在的啟示在基督耶穌道成肉身裏是比較深的，這也是一種恩典，使我們在神無限的賜福中得到力量和喜樂，當基督應許賜下時，有何其多的神僕仍難以明白，更談不上每天實際的經驗。這兒屬靈生命和其他每一件事，都要以信心接受屬靈真實，信靠聖靈，使其一步步成全在我們身上；當主基督說到「永遠」（也就是「每時刻」），也就是證明我們一生中每一天都有福與我們同在，現在任何一刻沒有不經驗此事；這不是說靠自己我們能做什麼，而是靠祂的幫助我們才能做。無所不能的基督就是無所不在的基督，祂自有、永有，並且不改變；祂的同在，祂無窮生命的大能實在永不改變，因此每位主僕可放心信靠祂。我們必須要安靜以永不止住的信心，謙卑地倚靠祂的應許：「安息在主裏面，忍耐等候祂。」「我永遠與你同在」，讓我們相信無所不在的基督，安靜的相信祂會在每天、每時刻以其眼目看顧我們，使我們有完全的平安，體驗事奉所需要的亮光和力量。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月03日）

十月三日　事工的境地「非用禱告，這一類的鬼，總不能出來。」馬可福音九章29節「我們為甚麼不能趕出他去呢？」（可九28）那答案是以我們與耶穌基督關係為轉移。這一類的鬼，非再三聚精會神在耶穌的身上，是不能趕牠出來的。我們處於門徒的地位，如果我們作神的工，不集中在祂的權能，只集中在我們本性的觀念，決然是沒有力量的，我們只竭力替神工作，而不認識祂，那是羞辱祂。你遇著難的問題，外面似乎不能解決，然而你心裡知道是必能解決的，因為你已集中在耶穌基督的身上。這就是你對付問題的方法──要使耶穌和你自己之間沒有甚麼阻隔。有沒有呢？如果有，你當穿過去，不要因惱怒而忽略，也不要跳過去，卻是對抗它，穿過去，穿到耶穌基督的面前。就是你所穿過的那些事，穿過去，穿到耶穌基督的面前。就是你所穿過的那些事，將要榮耀耶穌基督。不到你與耶穌面對面，你絕不會知道的。我們必得像鷹一樣飛騰，但我們也必得知道怎樣飛下來。聖者的能力是在能下來，能住在下面。保羅說：「我靠著那加給我力量的，凡事都能作」，而他所提到的事，都是最卑屈的事。拒絕卑屈，那是我們的自由，而且也可以說：「謝謝你，我不能，我寧可在山巔上與神同在」。我能藉著耶穌基督的指示，去對付實際的事麼？或是我之行事，好像失掉了信靠祂的心，如墜入恐慌之中呢？

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月03日）

十月三日「要給我們擒拿狐狸，就是毀壞葡萄園的小狐狸。」雅歌二章15節有些事雖然不完滿，但仍然無傷大雅。正如你只需要用一個小鬧鐘就可以叫醒你，所以你用不著有一大隊人馬在窗外吹奏起床號。屬靈的事情則不然，比方說只要撒但使你在一件小事上掛心，即使你不為其他事煩惱，這點小事也能使你完全失去平安。這情形就像一個精緻的桌面，只需一些些的刮痕，就能使整個表面損傷；而且越精美的桌面，越容易被越小的刮痕毀壞。同樣道理，我們的信心也可能被芝麻綠豆般的事給搞砸。或許你已經把將來的救恩交託神，但是你是否把你的生意、屬世的需要、財富、家庭等等，都交託給祂了呢？腓立比書四章7節說：「神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。」這節經文到底是什麼意思？這不是說有一種平安是沒有人能瞭解的，乃表示有一種平安是任何理智能力所不能有的。我們不可能藉著仔細思考、默想而得著這樣的平安。有了如此的平安，儘管我們周圍充滿了混亂和困惑的事，心中仍有安全感，因為我們知道神瞭解一切的情況，祂愛我們，而且會信實地引領我們。
