1:1 奉 神旨意,作基督耶穌使徒的保羅,寫信給在以弗所的聖徒,就是在基督耶穌裏有忠心的人。 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, (\f1 1:1 Some early manuscripts do not have|i in Ephesus|d.)the faithful(\f2 1:1 Or|i believers who are|d )in Christ Jesus:
1:2 願恩惠、平安從 神我們的父和主耶穌基督歸與你們! Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1:3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父 神!他在基督裏曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 1:4 就如 神從創立世界以前,在基督裏揀選了我們,使我們在他面前成為聖潔,無有瑕疵; For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 1:5 又因愛我們,就按著自己意旨所喜悅的,預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分, he(\f3 1:5 Or|i sight in love. \V 5 |iHe|d) predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- 1:6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚;這恩典是他在愛子裏所賜給我們的。 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 1:7 我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖,過犯得以赦免,乃是照他豐富的恩典。 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace 1:8 這恩典是 神用諸般智慧聰明,充充足足賞給我們的; that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. 1:9 都是照他自己所預定的美意,叫我們知道他旨意的奧祕, And he(\f4 1:9 Or|i us. With all wisdom and understanding, \V 9 |ihe|d) made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 1:10 要照所安排的,在日期滿足的時候,使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督裏面同歸於一。 0 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. 1:11 我們也在他裏面得〔得:或譚成〕了基業;這原是那位隨己意行、做萬事的,照著他旨意所預定的, In him we were also chosen, (\f5 1:11 Or|i were made heirs|d) having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 1:12 叫他的榮耀從我們這首先在基督裏有盼望的人可以得著稱讚。 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 1:13 你們既聽見真理的道,就是那叫你們得救的福音,也信了基督,既然信他,就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 1:14 這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據〔原文是質〕,直等到 神之民〔民:原文是產業〕被贖,使他的榮耀得著稱讚。 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory. 1:15 因此,我既聽見你們信從主耶穌,親愛眾聖徒, For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 1:16 就為你們不住地感謝 神。禱告的時候,常提到你們, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 1:17 求我們主耶穌基督的 神,榮耀的父,將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們,使你們真知道他, I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit(\f6 1:17 Or|i a spirit|d) of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 1:18 並且照明你們心中的眼睛,使你們知道他的恩召有何等指望,他在聖徒中得的基業有何等豐盛的榮耀; I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 1:19 並知道他向我們這信的人所顯的能力是何等浩大, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 1:20 就是照他在基督身上所運行的大能大力,使他從死裏復活,叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 1:21 遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、主治的,和一切有名的;不但是今世的,連來世的也都超過了。 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 1:22 又將萬有服在他的腳下,使他為教會作萬有之首。 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 1:23 教會是他的身體,是那充滿萬有者所充滿的。 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. 三月卅日 「凡你們點火用火把圍繞自己的,可以行在你們的火焰裏,並你們所點的火把中。這是我手所定的;你們必躺在悲慘之中。」以賽亞書五十章11節 這是一個嚴重的警告,對付那行在黑暗中而想設法自救的人們的。神說他們好像自己點火,用火把圍繞自己。這是甚麼意思呢? 這意思說:當我們在黑暗中遭遇試煉的時候,我們總想自謀出路,不肯信神靠神。我們本該讓祂施行拯救,可是我們頂喜歡自己籌畫。我們尋求理由的結論,親友的勸告。結果,就會採納一個不出於神的方法。這些都是我們自己點的火焰和火把,凡匆促的引導,必定會把我們導入錯誤的歧途,若向這種光亮前進,結果卻是悲慘。 所以,親愛的,不要想用自己的謀算逃出黑暗,我們該等候神的時間和神的方法。受試煉是學習我們所需的功課。 不成熟的拯救會阻撓神在我們身上的工作。我們應該把一切的難處交給神。只要有祂的同在,就該甘心等在黑暗中。請記得在黑暗中與神同行,強如在光明中單獨行走。─譯自微小的聲音 我們不該干預神的計畫和旨意。甚麼時候我們摸一摸祂的事情,我們立刻會弄壞祂的工作。我們儘可以把鐘撥到我們所要的時間,但是我們不能改變實在的時間;我們儘可以擘開玫瑰的花蕾,可是我們擘壞了那花。照樣,我們儘可以自己謀算來躲避神所要我們經過的遭遇,但是於事無補。所以我們該將一切完全交給祂。讓我們住手罷。讓我們對神說:「只要照你的旨意,不要照我的旨意。」 ─麥力德 祂的道路 出林裏寒冷陰冥, 我想停步, 神卻要我前行, 我不明白為了什麼原因, 忽在意欲停步的地方, 傳出岩石崩塌的巨聲。 我要前進, 神吩咐我停止, 我說:「遵照您的意旨」。 一大清晨有人發現, 在我要去的路上, 躺著斫死的毒蟒。 我或許不明究竟, 但我不再計問, 什麼緣故, 祂指點我的路徑, 我就走去, 我雖無知, 卻有數, 總為我…選擇全安道路。

March 30 "Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow."(Isa. 50:11.) WHAT a solemn warning to those who walks in darkness and yet who try to help themselves out into the light. They are represented as kindling a fire, and compassing themselves with sparks. What does this mean? Why, it means that when we are in darkness the temptation is to find a way without trusting in the Lord and relying upon Him. Instead of letting Him help us out, we try to help ourselves out. We seek the light of nature, and get the advice of our friends. We try the conclusions of our reason, and might almost be tempted to accept a way of deliverance which would not be of God at all. All these are fires of our own kindling; rushlights that will surely lead us onto the shoals. And God will let us walk in he light of those sparks, but the end will be sorrow. Beloved, do not try to get out of a dark place, except in God's time and in God's way. The time of trouble is meant to teach you lessons that you sorely need. Premature deliverance may frustrate God's work of grace in your life. Just commit the whole situation to Him. Be willing to abide in darkness so long as you have His presence. Remember that it is better to walk in the dark with God than to walk alone in the light. ─The Still small Voice. Cease meddling with God's plans and will. You touch anything of His, and you mar the work. You may move the hands of a clock to suit you, but you do not change the time; so you may hurry the unfolding of God's will, but you harm and do not help the work. 三月卅日 君尊榮司的職分 「你求告我,我就應允你,並將你所不知道,又大又難的事指示你。」耶利米書卅三章3節 當你向神祈求新約中更大的恩惠時,需具有以下四種思想: (一)神極其願意祝福人。祂的本性就是一個保證。祂樂於施憐憫,也等待施恩。祂的應許及聖徒的經歷也向我們證實這件事。 (二)那麼,為甚麼遲遲不祝福?當神照著祂自己的旨意造人,使人成為神的同伴,管理這地時,神限制了祂自己。祂使自己被人的作為所限制。而人又可以藉著祈求而使神不得不祝福。 (三)試想,神因著祂兒女不祈求或禱告太少是何等受阻、憂傷。教會光景下沉,生命顯得很弱,缺少使罪人悔改及教會成聖的聖靈大能,這一切都由於禱告的欠缺。但若神的兒女不止息地向神呼籲,教會的光景及外邦人的情形將是何等不同! (四)然而神仍然賜福,完全在於祂百姓的信心與熱心的程度。這並不是說人就可以滿足於此,以為神已祝福;而毋寧說:如果像我們這樣微弱的禱告,神尚且施恩,那麼我們若將全人投入代禱中,神將更施何等的恩呢! (五)我們當如何向神懊悔認罪,因著我們奉獻的不夠使神對世界的施恩受到攔阻!祂時刻等待施拯救,只是我們不願全心全意奉獻給主、服事祂。 神的兒女們哪!神指望你們在祂寶座前作代禱者。我求你們能醒悟過來,知道你們蒙神聖召乃是要作君尊的祭司。巴望你們重新有一個新的生活,真知道你們的代禱正如主耶穌在高天之上為我們代求一樣,乃是人類所指望的一種最高特權。帶著這樣的靈,在指望中抓住神的話:「你求告我,我就應允你,並將你所不知道,又大又難的事指示你。」 凡是讀到這裡的人,還能說不願意也不希望答應神這個蒙福的呼召——在主耶穌基督的大能裡,為著神對教會的施恩,為著這將滅亡的世界,把代禱當成生活唯一的目標嗎?難道這個要求太過嗎?為著那為我們捨命的主,我們獻身於此神聖的祭司職分,一生服事祂,會覺得太多嗎?

三月卅日 是崇拜呢?還是要挾呢? 「祂見無人代求,甚為詫異。」以賽亞書五九章16節 我們中有許多人,其所向神剛硬而不禱告的緣故,是因為我們在禱告方面,只有一種表面的情感和興趣。有人以為禱告,是體面的事,並且瀏覽指導禱告的書籍,以為禱告的時候我們的心可以安靜,我們的靈可以超昇;但是以賽亞謂神對於這種禱告,有詫異之感。 崇拜和代求是分不開的,沒有代求便不能有崇拜了。代求的意思,是激動我們自己得到基督的心,替人祈禱。我們太注意祈禱的措詞,而忽略了敬拜神的事實。我們是敬拜神,或是與神辯論呢?──「我不知道您是怎樣能如此做的。」這是我們不敬拜神的明證。當我們離開神的時候,我們便硬心,便武斷起來。我們將請求拋到神的寶座前,強迫祂替我們做所想望的事。我們不敬拜神,也不追求基督的旨意。如果我們對於神硬心,對於人也必硬心。 我們是激動自己去握住神,與祂心心相印,替別人禱告麼?是以這種方式去敬拜神麼?我們生活是與神有聖潔的關係呢?抑或是硬著心武斷起來呢? 「但是沒有一種正式的代求人」──你就做個正式的代求人吧!你就做個崇拜神,生活在祂聖潔關係中的人吧!努力代求的真實工作,不但是一種工作,而且是運用全力的工作,沒有陷阱的工作。傳福音也許有陷阱;代求的工作是絕然沒有的。

三月三十日 「……我願你凡事興盛,身體健壯,正如你的靈魂興盛一樣。」約翰三書2節 箴言十二章28節說:「在公義的道上有生命,其路之中,並無死亡。」這正是得到醫治的秘訣。與神和好,以祂為中心地活著,那麼你就可以免得任何傷害。當惡魔的箭碰到公義的盾牌時,箭會立刻落地,也因此信心在每一次強烈的攻擊之後,會變得更堅強。彼得前書三章13節所說:「你們若是熱心行善,有誰害你們呢?」是何等真實啊!提摩太前書一章19節說:「常存信心和無虧的良心,有人丟棄良心,就在真道上如同船破壞了一般。」也是真言。 出埃及記十五章26節則說:「……你若留意聽耶和華你神的話,又行我眼中看為正的事,留心聽我的誡命,守我一切的律例,我就不能將所加與埃及人的疾病加在你身上,因為我耶和華是醫治你的。」所以讓我們行神眼中看為正的事。 有一個問題是神逢人就問的, 祂要我們自省, 看看我們是否與神完全和好。
