以弗所書, 1章

^1:1 奉　神旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，寫信給在以弗所的聖徒，就是在基督耶穌裏有忠心的人。 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, (\f1 1:1 Some early manuscripts do not have|i in Ephesus|d.)the faithful(\f2 1:1 Or|i believers who are|d )in Christ Jesus:
^1:2 願恩惠、平安從　神我們的父和主耶穌基督歸與你們！ Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
^1:3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父　神！他在基督裏曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣： Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
^1:4 就如　神從創立世界以前，在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵； For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
^1:5 又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分， he(\f3 1:5 Or|i sight in love. \V 5 |iHe|d) predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--
^1:6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裏所賜給我們的。 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
^1:7 我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，乃是照他豐富的恩典。 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
^1:8 這恩典是　神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的； that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
^1:9 都是照他自己所預定的美意，叫我們知道他旨意的奧祕， And he(\f4 1:9 Or|i us. With all wisdom and understanding, \V 9 |ihe|d) made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,
^1:10 要照所安排的，在日期滿足的時候，使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督裏面同歸於一。 0 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
^1:11 我們也在他裏面得〔得：或譚成〕了基業；這原是那位隨己意行、做萬事的，照著他旨意所預定的， In him we were also chosen, (\f5 1:11 Or|i were made heirs|d) having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
^1:12 叫他的榮耀從我們這首先在基督裏有盼望的人可以得著稱讚。 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
^1:13 你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
^1:14 這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據〔原文是質〕，直等到　神之民〔民：原文是產業〕被贖，使他的榮耀得著稱讚。 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
^1:15 因此，我既聽見你們信從主耶穌，親愛眾聖徒， For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
^1:16 就為你們不住地感謝　神。禱告的時候，常提到你們， I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
^1:17 求我們主耶穌基督的　神，榮耀的父，將那賜人智慧和啟示的靈賞給你們，使你們真知道他， I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit(\f6 1:17 Or|i a spirit|d) of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
^1:18 並且照明你們心中的眼睛，使你們知道他的恩召有何等指望，他在聖徒中得的基業有何等豐盛的榮耀； I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
^1:19 並知道他向我們這信的人所顯的能力是何等浩大， and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
^1:20 就是照他在基督身上所運行的大能大力，使他從死裏復活，叫他在天上坐在自己的右邊， which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,
^1:21 遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、主治的，和一切有名的；不但是今世的，連來世的也都超過了。 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
^1:22 又將萬有服在他的腳下，使他為教會作萬有之首。 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,
^1:23 教會是他的身體，是那充滿萬有者所充滿的。 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月13日）

十月十三日「應當一無罣慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求、和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡，保守你們的心懷意念。」腓立比書四章6節、7節一個信徒不該有絲毫罣慮。無論我們的試煉多大，痛苦多深，困難多雜，總不能叫我們有罣慮的理由，因為我們有一位父在天上，祂是全能的，祂愛我們，正如愛祂的獨生子一般，祂樂意隨時隨地救濟我們、幫助我們。所以讓我們聽祂對我們所說的話：「應當一無罣慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡，保守你們的心懷意念。」「凡事」，不只是房屋著火，不只是所愛的病危，「凡事」包括日常生活中一切大大小小的事情；我們應當將「凡事」帶到神面前去！當我們夜半醒來，輾轉不能成眠的時候，就該頂自然地傾向神去，與祂談話，將我們種種瑣碎的事情帶到祂面前去——將一切家庭方面、職業方面的困難全告訴祂。「藉著禱告祈求」，站在乞丐的地位上，用誠懇和堅忍來等候祂。「和感謝」，我們應當隨時存感謝的心。如果我們以為沒有甚麼可叫我們感謝的話，至少有一件事是值得我們感謝的——祂救我們脫離死亡。祂給我們祂的道─—祂的兒子—─和聖靈。哦，這就彀叫我們大聲感謝讚美了。「神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡，保守你們的心懷意念。」這是一個何等大、何等真、何等寶貴的祝福！但是這個祝福必須親身經歷過纔會知道，因為這是出人意外的。哦，讓我們把這些話放在心上。如果我們能一直照著行的話，結果定會叫神得到更大的榮耀。　　　　　　　　　　─慕勒我們應當時時察看自己有沒有甚麼叫我的心得不到安息？如果有的話，就當立刻到神前去對付，直到恢復了內心的鎮靜。　　　　　　　　　　─撒勒

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月13日）

October 13 "In nothing be anxious." (Phil. 4:6.) 　ＮO anxiety ought to be found in a believer. Great, many and varied may be our trials, our afflictions, our difficulties, and yet there should be no anxiety under any circumstances, because we have a Father in Heaven who is almighty, who loves His children as He loves His only-begotten Son, and whose very joy and delight it is to succor and help them at all times and under all circumstances. We should attend to the Word, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." 　"In everything," that is not merely when the house is on fire, not merely when the beloved wife and children are on the brink of the grave, but in the smallest matters of life, bring everyghing before God, the little things, the very little things, what the world calls trifling things- everything-living in holy communion with our Heavenly Father, and with our precious Lord Jesus all day long. And when we awake at night, by a kind of spiritual instinct again turning to Him, and speaking to Him, bringing our various little matters before Him in the sleepless night, the difficulties in connection with the family, our trade, our profession. Whatever tries us in any way, speak to the Lord about it. 　"By prayer and supplication," taking the place of beggars, with earnestness, with perseverance, going on and waiting, waiting, waiting on God. 　"With thanksgiving." We should at all times lay a good foundation with thanksgiving. If everything else were wanting, this is always present, that, He has saved us from hell. Then, that He has given us His Holy Word-His Son, His choicest gift-and the Holy spirit. Therefore we have abundant reason for thanksgiving. O let us aim at this! 　"And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." And this is so great a blessing, so real a blessing, so precious a blessing, that it must be known experimentally to be entered into, for it passeth understanding. ■ 永活之泉（10月13日）

十月十三日　永久的代禱「稱長久為人代禱的人是宗教狂熱者是何等毫無理由。至少在單單真實的從神獲得啟示的生命，是無法得到良善和喜樂，那就不可能同意此說，因為良善無法與神分離而單獨存在，除非藉祂自己所變成有福而聖潔的人，否則沒人能有此種生命；惟有直接從內住的神得到啟示，否則沒有高級受造之物，可從其他地方找到良善和喜樂。根據永遠的啟示：動物怎樣需要空氣，高級受造物也怎樣需要有良善、聖潔和喜樂的本性。」「認為啟示和引導止於先知和使徒的時代而不會臨到現在的基督徒，乃是何等錯誤的說法，因為他們雖不是先知或使徒，但亦稱為聖徒。像天父般的完全，有基督的心志，單單遵行神的旨意，彰顯祂的榮耀，棄絕屬世的靈，盡心、盡性、盡意愛神，並愛鄰居如同自己。」「注意這偉大、神聖和超自然的力量，如何在先知和使徒身上工作，你就會發現聖潔不限於某一場合和時間，而是永遠存在我們的思想、意志、渴望、情感之中，那麼我們可知這內在的聖潔和良善是永遠存在，當我們迫切需要時就會藉神的靈啟示我們；如我們的思想和情感永遠保持聖潔和良善，則聖善神的靈就會永遠住在我們裏面，作啟示的工作。」賜福的父神，我們求您用天上的啟示，就是有福的真理，我們有信心的祈求您的聖靈直接永遠引導我們，運行在我們身上。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月13日）

十月十三日　個人的失望與各自的發展「摩西長大，出去到他弟兄那裡，看他們的重擔。」出埃及記二章11節摩西看見他百姓受壓迫，自覺是拯救他們的一位，受著義憤的催逼，便開始替他們伸冤，為正義，為神走了第一步以後，神就讓摩西陷於完全失望中，打發他到曠野牧羊四十年。時候到了，神向摩西顯現，吩咐他去領祂的百姓出來。而摩西說：「我是甚麼人，竟能去見法老呢？」開始，摩西以為他是拯救百姓的人，可惜的是他先未受到神的訓練。在個人方面他是對的，但他是不習於與神契合，而作此事的人。我們也許有神的異象，能瞭解神所要的是甚麼，也像摩西一樣開始工作起來；後來，同樣的在曠野四十年，好像神忽略了所有的事，但在我們完全失望的時候，神轉回頭來，恢復從前的選召，我們反戰慄著說：「啊，我是甚麼！」我們要學知神動腳的那一大步：「我是自有永有的打發你。」我們要曉得我們個人替神努力是不甚適當的；個人只能藉著神的關係白熱化起來（參太三11）。我們只注意事物的一方面，我們也得著了異象──「這是神一要我做的事，」但是沒有與神齊一步伐。如果你經過一種失望，就有一種大的發展在你面前等待你。

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月13日）

十月十三日「原來體貼肉體的，就是與神為仇……」羅馬書八章7節我們的肉體可說是無可救藥的敗壞，它「……不服神的律法，也是不能服。」(羅八7)因為肉體永遠也無法變好，所以試著改進肉體是無用的。不管我們受多少教育，用什麼好的方法來制約我們的行為，有最好的模範做我們的例子與否，或是用哀痛、勇氣、嚴肅的態度來對付肉體，但是我們最後會發現：肉體的敗壞依然是積習難改。一個小孩子所養大的野禿鷹，雖然從雛鳥時就接受家鴿般的訓練，但是長大時仍然會以其尖利的嘴啄痛撫養牠長大的人，可見得教育並不能改變禿鷹的殘暴，而其自然的天性也永遠不會與鴿子一樣。無怪乎保羅會說：「原來體貼肉體的，就是與神為仇；因為不服神的律法，也是不能服。」惟一能補救人天性的辦法，乃是毀滅老我，接受屬天的性格。神的目的不在改進人，乃是要藉著基督釘死我們的肉體，然後在基督耶穌裡使我們成為新造的人。
