1:1 奉 神旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅和兄弟提摩太 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
1:2 寫信給歌羅西的聖徒，在基督裏有忠心的弟兄。願恩惠、平安從 神我們的父歸與你們！ To the holy and faithful(\f1 1:2 Or|i believing|d) brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.( \f2 1:2 Some manuscripts|i Father and the Lord Jesus Christ|d) 1:3 我們感謝 神、我們主耶穌基督的父，常常為你們禱告； We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 1:4 因聽見你們在基督耶穌裏的信心，並向眾聖徒的愛心， because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints-- 1:5 是為那給你們存在天上的盼望；這盼望就是你們從前在福音真理的道上所聽見的。 the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel 1:6 這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到普天之下，並且結果，增長，如同在你們中間，自從你們聽見福音，真知道 神恩惠的日子一樣。 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth. 1:7 正如你們從我們所親愛、一同作僕人的以巴弗所學的。他為我們〔有古卷：你們〕作了基督忠心的執事， You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our(\f3 1:7 Some manuscripts|i your|d) behalf, 1:8 也把你們因聖靈所存的愛心告訴了我們。 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit. 1:9 因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住地禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道 神的旨意； For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 1:10 好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸地多知道 神； 0 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 1:11 照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容； being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 1:12 又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you(\f4 1:12 Some manuscripts|i us|d) to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 1:13 他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷到他愛子的國裏； For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 1:14 我們在愛子裏得蒙救贖，罪過得以赦免。 in whom we have redemption,( \f5 1:14 A few late manuscripts|i redemption through his blood|d) the forgiveness of sins. 1:15 愛子是那不能看見之 神的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 1:16 因為萬有都是靠他造的，無論是天上的，地上的；能看見的，不能看見的；或是有位的，主治的，執政的，掌權的；一概都是藉著他造的，又是為他造的。 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 1:17 他在萬有之先；萬有也靠他而立。 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 1:18 他也是教會全體之首。他是元始，是從死裏首先復生的，使他可以在凡事上居首位。 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 1:19 因為父喜歡叫一切的豐盛在他裏面居住。 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 1:20 既然藉著他在十字加上所流的血成就了和平，便藉著他叫萬有─無論是地上的、天上的─都與自己和好了。 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 1:21 你們從前與 神隔絕，因著惡行，心裏與他為敵。 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of(\f6 1:21 Or|i minds, as shown by|d) your evil behavior. 1:22 但如今他藉著基督的肉身受死，叫你們與自己和好，都成了聖潔，沒有瑕疵，無可責備，把你們引到自己面前。 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-- 1:23 只要你們在所信的道上恆心，根基穩固，堅定不移，不至被引動失去〔原文是離開〕福音的盼望。這福音就是你們所聽過的，也是傳與普天下萬人聽的〔原文是凡受造的〕，我保羅也作了這福音的執事。 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. 1:24 現在我為你們受苦，倒覺歡樂；並且為基督的身體，就是為教會，要在我肉身上補滿基督患難的缺欠。 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. 1:25 我照 神為你們所賜我的職分作了教會的執事，要把 神的道理傳得全備， I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness-- 1:26 這道理就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕；但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. 1:27 神願意叫他們知道，這奧祕在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望。 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 1:28 我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全的引到 神面前。 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. 1:29 我也為此勞苦，照著他在我裏面運用的大能盡心竭力。 To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me. 二月五日 「你們出來必不至急忙。」以賽亞書五二章12節 我不相信，我們已經瞭解在安靜中的奇妙的能力了。我們常太急躁——我們自己一定要去作——不給神一個機會彰顯祂的榮耀。因此，神常對我們說，「站住」（出十四13），「安坐」（路三18），「住了罷！靜了罷！」（可四39），祂纔可以發揮祂的全能。 在我們基督徒的生活中，我們的失敗常是因為我們要自己工作來得勝；其實，我們需要讓神在我們裏面工作。當你請一個攝影師替你照相的時候，你必須安靜不動，完全讓他作。 神對於我們有一個永久的目的，就是要我們像祂的兒子；如果要達成這個目的，我們必須處在被動的地位，關於如何主動，我們聽得太多了，也許我們更需要瞭解安靜的意義。 ─碎錦 「女兒啊！你只管安坐靜待」， 別以為等候的日子對你有害， 最愛你的祂， 為你安排前程， 祂不會忘記你今日的迫切需要， 假若祂在等候， 祂的等待， 是為了證實祂對你的深愛。 「女兒啊！你只管安坐靜待」， 你渴望知道主的旨意！ 由於祂的緩慢 切莫讓焦躁侵蝕心懷， 你當一心堅信等待， 祂對你的愛，至善至美。 「女兒啊！你只管安坐靜待」， 一步亦不動， 直等到祂的路為你暢開， 那時你將多麼舒泰， 你的腳步將如何輕快， 你的靈魂將多麼堅強， 等候的日子並不長得不可忍耐。 「女兒啊！你只管安坐靜待」， 你還能為祂作什麼更大的奉獻？ 是的， 這是很難， 但好的東西， 代價亦貴， 為了吝嗇破費， 招來多少損害。 是的， 這很難， 但祂的恩典俱在， 你的等待， 換來了福如東海。 ─史密斯

February 5 "Ye shall not go out with haste." (Isa. 52:12.) Ｉ DO not believe that we have begun to understand the marvelous power there is in stillness. we are in such a hurry─we must be doing─so that we are in danger of not giving God a chance to work. You may depend upon it, God never says to us, "Stand still," or "Sit still," or "Be still," unless He is going to do something. This is our trouble in regard to our Christian life; we want to do something to be Christians when we need to let Him work in us. Do you know how still you have to be when your likeness is being taken? Now God has one eternal purpose concerning us, and that is that we should be like His Son; and in order that this may be so, we must be passive. We hear so much about activity, may be we need to know what it is to be quiet. ─Crumbs. Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still! Nor deem these days─these waiting days─as ill! The One who loves thee best, who plans thy way, Hath not forfgotten thy great need today! And, if He waits, 'tis sure He waits to prove To thee, His tender child, His heart's deep love. Sit still, my daughter! Just sit calmly still! Thou longest much to know thy dear Lord's will! While anxious thoughts would almost steal their way Corrodingly within, because of His delay─ Persuade thyself in simple faith to rest That He, who knows and loves, will do the best. 二月五日 靜默的敬拜 「我的心默默無聲，專等候神。」「我的心哪，你當默默無聲，專等候神，因為我的盼望是從祂而來。」詩篇六十二篇1、5節 當人在他的微小裡，與神在祂的榮耀裡相逢的時候，我們都知道神所說的話其價值是遠超過人所說的。但是在我們的禱告裡，卻時常發表許多自己的思想，只是關乎我們的需要，應當好好學習安靜默然的在神面前，這才是真實敬拜的秘訣。讓我們記得這一個應許：「你們得力在乎平靜安穩（信靠）」「我的心哪，你當專心等候神，因為我的盼望是從祂而來。」「我要等候主，我的心等候，我的盼望也在乎祂的話語。」 當人的心俯伏在祂的面前，想念祂的偉大、祂的聖潔、祂的能力和祂的愛，並將祂的名所該得的榮耀、尊貴和敬拜，歸給祂的時候，人的心就敞開來接受神的親密，和祂能力的工作。 哦！基督徒啊，相信這樣的敬拜神——在你的無有裡俯伏下拜，並提起你的思想來領會神的同在，好像在基督耶穌裡，將自己賜給你，才是惟一的路，將神所當得的榮耀歸給祂，並且能帶到那禱告最高的祝福裡。 不要想這是虛擲光陰，如果在起頭的時候覺得困難，沒有果效，不要放棄它。相信它能帶你到與神正當的關係裡。它為你開一條與父神交通的道路。它也帶進一個蒙福的保證，就是神用慈愛看顧你，又用秘密而聖潔的能力工作在你裡面。當你這樣成為習慣的時候，你就要覺得祂的同在是整天不離開你。這一個能使你剛強的為主作見證。有人說：「除了神在人裡面之外，沒有一個人能影響別人叫他良善與聖潔。」人會覺得你是與神同在的。「惟耶和華在祂的聖殿中，全地的人，都當在祂面前肅敬靜默」（哈二20） 「凡有血氣的，都當在耶和華面前，靜默無聲，因為祂興起，從聖所出來了。」（亞二13）

二月五日 你準備獻上麼？ 「我以你們的信心為供獻的祭物，我若被澆奠在其上，也是喜樂，並且與你們眾人一同喜樂。」腓立比書二章17節 你願意獻上自己，替信的人工作──傾出你生命的血，作為一種奠祭，加到別人信心的祭品上麼？或說：我此刻還不要把自己獻上，我也不要神替我揀選工作，我要揀選我自己犧牲的環境，我希望有人注視著，誇我「做得好！」 抱著光榮的英勇，獨斷獨行，是一件事。如果神命定你作蹋腳的毯子，擺在門口，任人踐踏，那又是一件事。或許神要教訓你說：「我知道怎樣的自卑」──你準備像那樣獻上麼？你準備像一滴之水，在水桶中麼？──你願意無聲無臭的消滅在人類的記念中麼？你願意耗費自己，同時也願被別人耗費麼？不求受人的服事，卻求服事人麼？有的「聖者」不肯從事僕役的工作，是因為僕役的工作有損他們的尊嚴。

二月五日 「在主裡休息」詩篇卅八篇 當神創造萬物時，祂以工作開始一個星期，以休息作為結束。然而耶穌在主日復活之後，一個星期的第一天卻以休息為開始，之後才工作。 因此我們必須像神一樣先停止工作，進入祂裡面休息。然後帶著安靜的心，我們才會滿有能力地作祂的事工。 我們為什麼得努力進入祂裡面休息呢？讓我們來瞧瞧開帆船的技術：當帆船乘風前進時，它能毫不費力、平靜地在水面上滑行。但是掌舵的人必須穩穩地握住船舵，使帆能順風、使船能平衡。假使掌舵的人稍微一鬆手，帆立刻會沒精打采地倒下來。不僅所有的帆會倒下來，而且海浪會無情地使帆船翻騰不已，使一切的寧靜、能力消失淨盡。換言之，有了穩妥的舵，才會有載風而行的帆。以賽亞書廿六章3節說：「堅心倚賴您的，您必保守他十分平安，因為他倚靠您。」意志堅定、心裡平靜乃在乎我們，然而保守我們的是主。所以讓我們努力進入祂裡面休息，由祂來掌舵。
