歌羅西書, 1章

^1:1 奉　神旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅和兄弟提摩太 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
^1:2 寫信給歌羅西的聖徒，在基督裏有忠心的弟兄。願恩惠、平安從　神我們的父歸與你們！ To the holy and faithful(\f1 1:2 Or|i believing|d) brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.( \f2 1:2 Some manuscripts|i Father and the Lord Jesus Christ|d)
^1:3 我們感謝　神、我們主耶穌基督的父，常常為你們禱告； We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
^1:4 因聽見你們在基督耶穌裏的信心，並向眾聖徒的愛心， because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints--
^1:5 是為那給你們存在天上的盼望；這盼望就是你們從前在福音真理的道上所聽見的。 the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel
^1:6 這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到普天之下，並且結果，增長，如同在你們中間，自從你們聽見福音，真知道　神恩惠的日子一樣。 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.
^1:7 正如你們從我們所親愛、一同作僕人的以巴弗所學的。他為我們〔有古卷：你們〕作了基督忠心的執事， You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our(\f3 1:7 Some manuscripts|i your|d) behalf,
^1:8 也把你們因聖靈所存的愛心告訴了我們。 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.
^1:9 因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住地禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道　神的旨意； For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
^1:10 好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸地多知道　神； 0 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
^1:11 照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容； being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully
^1:12 又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you(\f4 1:12 Some manuscripts|i us|d) to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
^1:13 他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷到他愛子的國裏； For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
^1:14 我們在愛子裏得蒙救贖，罪過得以赦免。 in whom we have redemption,( \f5 1:14 A few late manuscripts|i redemption through his blood|d) the forgiveness of sins.
^1:15 愛子是那不能看見之　神的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
^1:16 因為萬有都是靠他造的，無論是天上的，地上的；能看見的，不能看見的；或是有位的，主治的，執政的，掌權的；一概都是藉著他造的，又是為他造的。 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
^1:17 他在萬有之先；萬有也靠他而立。 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
^1:18 他也是教會全體之首。他是元始，是從死裏首先復生的，使他可以在凡事上居首位。 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
^1:19 因為父喜歡叫一切的豐盛在他裏面居住。 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
^1:20 既然藉著他在十字加上所流的血成就了和平，便藉著他叫萬有─無論是地上的、天上的─都與自己和好了。 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
^1:21 你們從前與　神隔絕，因著惡行，心裏與他為敵。 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of(\f6 1:21 Or|i minds, as shown by|d) your evil behavior.
^1:22 但如今他藉著基督的肉身受死，叫你們與自己和好，都成了聖潔，沒有瑕疵，無可責備，把你們引到自己面前。 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation--
^1:23 只要你們在所信的道上恆心，根基穩固，堅定不移，不至被引動失去〔原文是離開〕福音的盼望。這福音就是你們所聽過的，也是傳與普天下萬人聽的〔原文是凡受造的〕，我保羅也作了這福音的執事。 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
^1:24 現在我為你們受苦，倒覺歡樂；並且為基督的身體，就是為教會，要在我肉身上補滿基督患難的缺欠。 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
^1:25 我照　神為你們所賜我的職分作了教會的執事，要把　神的道理傳得全備， I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness--
^1:26 這道理就是歷世歷代所隱藏的奧祕；但如今向他的聖徒顯明了。 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints.
^1:27 　神願意叫他們知道，這奧祕在外邦人中有何等豐盛的榮耀，就是基督在你們心裏成了有榮耀的盼望。 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
^1:28 我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全的引到　神面前。 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
^1:29 我也為此勞苦，照著他在我裏面運用的大能盡心竭力。 To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

荒漠甘泉五合一

■ 中文荒漠甘泉（10月15日）

十月十五日「心裏慌亂，便都昏迷、」約伯記四一章25節神為了祂的榮耀而常常使用一切的人事物來達成祂的計劃，那些人事物則必需先行徹底地破碎。祂接納凡是痛悔與破碎的心為祭，正如當初神在雅博渡口打垮了雅各的天然力量，然後神給雅各祝福。在何烈山摩西用他的杖擊打磐石，而泉水流出為渴民之需。基甸所選出的三百勇士，當他們攻入米甸人營中的時候，打破了手中的瓶子，亮出了火把，向驚慌恐懼的敵人直衝。又如那一位窮寡婦她打碎瓶而流出的油，神卻大大的以祝福補償給她。那王后以斯帖，她不惜生命的危險，她堅定不移的心去朝見異邦的王，而拯救以色列民於死亡之邊緣。更如主耶穌剝開五餅二魚分飼五千之眾。再看馬利亞打破了玉瓶，那真哪噠香膏之馨香充滿了屋宇，主耶穌亦是如此，祂被荊棘刺傷、被鞭打，被釘十字架、被槍刺肋旁，終於祂在木頭上身體裂開，祂的寶血如生命流出，使罪人得以蒙恩。一粒麥子若不落在地裏死了，就不會結出子粒來，如此推想，在歷世歷代，在傳記中，在各種成長中的一切生命，神必須先使它破碎。假使有人在財富上被破碎，或在個性上被破碎，或在雄心大志上被破碎，或在情感上被破碎，這一切的一切破碎的工作，乃是聖靈在作，我們遭遇到這些，似乎是全然無助了，無望了，因為我們的無助無望，纔顯明瞭神的榮耀。先知以賽亞說：「羔羊被獻於祭壇上」。

■ 英文荒漠甘泉（10月15日）

October 15 " By reason of breakings they purify themselves."(Job 41:25.) ＧOD uses most for His glory those people and things which are most perfectly broken. The sacrifices He accepts are broken and contrite hearts. It was the breaking down of Jacob's natural strength at peniel that got him where God could clothe him with spiritual power. It was breaking the surface of the rock at Horeb, by the stroke of Moses' rod, that let out the cool waters to thirsty people. 　It was when the 300 elect soldiers under Gideon broke their pitchers, a type of breaking themselves, that the hidden lights shone forth to the consternation of their adversaries. It was when the poor widow broke the seal of the little pot of oil, and poured it forth, that God multiplied it to pay her debts and supply means of support. 　It was when Esther risked her life and broke through the rigid etiquette of a heathen court, that she obtained favor to rescue her people from death. It was when Jesus took the five loaves and broke them, that the bread was multiplied in the very act of breaking, sufficient to feed five thousand. It was when Mary broke her beautiful alabaster box, rendering it henceforth useless, that the pent-up perfume filled the house. It was when Jesus allowed His precious body to be broken to pieces by thorns and nails and spear, that His inner life was poured out, like a crystal ocean, for thirsty sinners to drink and live. 　It is when a beautiful grain of corn is broken up in the earth by DEATH, that its inner heart sprouts forth and bears hundreds of other grains, And thus, on and on, through all history, and all biography, and all vegetation, and all spiritual life, God must have BROKEN THINGS. 　Those who are broken in wealth, and broken in self-will, and broken in their ambitions, and broken in their beautiful ideals, and broken in worldly reputation, and broken in their affections, and broken ofttimes in health; those who are despised and seem utterly forlorn and helpless, the Holy Ghost is seizing upon, and using for God's glory. "The lame take the prev," Issiah tells us.

■ 永活之泉（10月15日）

十月十五日　邪惡的己你無法得知神聖的愛在其本身內，直到你發現聖愛之靈已產生了。因愛是完全的平安和喜樂，從不安中釋放不僅有喜樂，而且無論遇到任何事都能保持喜樂。愛是神的自己，無論那裏有愛就為天然生命帶來福份和快樂，使其復得失去的完全，成為義人，得與神有未曾想過的和好。當較智慧的受造物從屬神墮落到自己，他便發現他的生命只有自我而沒有神，除了做各樣的惡事，沒有，也無法找到任何東西。貪婪、嫉妒、驕傲和忿怒是與自我不可分的本性，假如我們要做件實在是好或壞的事，就全怕這回因樂從中作祟；它們會隱藏而且活躍地在我們裏面，然後使我們到與神完全隔絕之地步或滿有毒蟲野獸的地牢；自我的怪獸善於偽裝成一個善良的外衣，能察顏觀色，作很美的禱告和極長的講道，並滿有生命的大能，以不變偽君子的外貌作稅吏和罪人之事。治死老我，使其無能為力，不是憑天然生命的能力可辦到的，只有一個簡易治死老我的方法，這是每個人都垂手可得，能以實行而永不失敗的方法。「如果你要問什麼是那個真實、簡易、直接而無誤的方法！那就是忍耐、溫柔、謙卑的與神和好，如此才可以完全治死肉體。」這有個基督徒生命中較難的功課，是有關老我的真理，它可怕的能力、訣要和宇宙的規律，並使我們固守於知識使我們傾向罪惡，從此很少人深信自己完全無能，並順服神相信祂的大愛，除非我們憑信心將老我釘死在耶穌基督裏面，否則我們無法對付它，只有靠聖靈而有的信心，以溫柔、溫和、謙卑地順服神，藉基督所作的大能，這在父神眼目中看為極美。

■ 中文屬天日子（10月15日）

十月十五日　宣教師使命的鎖鑰「祂為我們的罪作了挽回祭，不是單為我們的罪，也是為普天下的罪。」約翰一書二章2節宣教師使命的鎖鑰，是耶穌基督的挽回祭。拿基督教任何方面的工作──醫治方面，拯救與成聖方面……，是有限制的。「神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！」（約一29）那是無限制的。宣教師的使命，是以耶穌基督作我們罪的挽回祭，為無限制的特點，同時他是浸透在那種啟示裡的一個人。宣教師的鎖鑰是把基督的生命的特點，重行宣佈出來，不是宣佈祂的仁愛，祂的善德，祂的啟示的父道；是祂為我們的罪作了挽回祭。宣教師的使命，不是愛國，他是不問國籍，不問個人，而全世界的一個公民。當聖靈來到，祂不考慮我的夙好，而領我去與主耶穌聯合為一。一個宣教師，須與他的主夫子的憲章組織成一片；他不應宣傳他自己的見解，卻要宣傳神的羔羊。加入一個團體，傳說耶穌基督為我所作的是易事，要變成一個利用神力治病的人是易事，要變成一個特別成聖形式的人是易事，要變成專靠聖靈施洗的人也是易事。保羅並不說──「如果我不宣傳基督為我作的，我便有禍了，」但說──「我若不傳福音，我便有禍了！」「神的羔羊，背負世人罪孽的！」──就是福音！

■ 中文上海嗎哪（10月15日）

十月十五日「信就是……未見之事的確據。」希伯來書十一章1節真正的信心就像把信投入郵筒之後，就不再掛心郵件是否會寄到。但是信心不完全的人則既不敢放手寄信，又要問為什麼還沒有回信。在我桌上有些我幾個星期前所寫的信件，因為我不確定那些信封上的地址以及信的內容是否正確，所以我一直沒有寄出那些信。當然，那些信也就對我和他人沒有任何幫助；除非我放手把信都寄出去，並且信任郵局的服務，否則這些信永遠也無法成就任何事。信心也是如此，當我們一旦放手交給神，祂就能開始動工。在詩篇卅七篇5節說：「當將你的事交託耶和華，並倚靠祂，祂就必成全。」換言之，我們得先交託，祂才能成全。信心乃是接受神所賜禮物。我們可以僅只相信，來到主前交託、休息，但是惟有我們開始接受神所賜的一切，擁有讓祂內住管理我們的權利之後，我們方能完全得著這些祝福。
