1:2 直到他藉著聖靈吩咐所揀選的使徒,以後被接上升的日子為止。 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 1:3 他受害之後,用許多的憑據將自己活活地顯給使徒看,四十天之久向他們顯現,講說 神國的事。 After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 1:4 耶穌和他們聚集的時候,囑咐他們說:「不要離開耶路撒冷,要等候父所應許的,就是你們聽見我說過的。 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: <<Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 1:5 約翰是用水施洗,但不多幾日,你們要受聖靈的洗。」 For John baptized with(\f1 1:5 Or|i in|d) water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.>> 1:6 他們聚集的時候,問耶穌說:「主啊,你復興以色列國就在這時候嗎?」 So when they met together, they asked him, <<Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?>> 1:7 耶穌對他們說:「父憑著自己的權柄所定時候、日期,不是你們可以知道的。 He said to them: <<It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 1:8 但聖靈降臨在你們身上,你們就必得著能力,並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地,和撒瑪利亞,直到地極,作我的見證。」 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.>> 1:9 說了這話,他們正看的時候,他就被取上升,有一朵雲彩把他接去,便看不見他了。 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 1:10 當他往上去,他們定睛望天的時候,忽然有兩個人身穿白衣,站在旁邊,說: 0 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 1:11 「加利利人哪,你們為甚麼站著望天呢?這離開你們被接升天的耶穌,你們見他怎樣往天上去,他還要怎樣來。」 <<Men of Galilee,>> they said, <<why do you stand here looking into the sky? Show us which of these two you have chosen 1:25 眾人就禱告說:「主阿,你知道萬人的心,求你從這兩個人中,指明你所揀選的是誰,叫他得這使徒的位分。這位分猶大已經丟棄,往自己的地方去了。」 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.>> 1:26 於是眾人為他們搖籤,搖出馬提亞來;他就和十一個使徒同列。 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles. 十二月十八日 「靠著愛我們的主,在這一切事上,已經得勝有餘了。」羅馬書八章37節 福音這樣指示我們,攻擊我們的仇敵,反對我們的勢力,是我們進到神前的梯階。 正如鷲鷹坐在峭壁上,守望黑雲密佈的天空;雖然叉狀的閃電穿上穿下,牠仍頂安靜的坐著,期待那將來的風雨。牠從不肯早一刻飛行的;牠必須覺到風雨已經爆發了,已經打到身上了;然後尖叫一聲,就衝入風雨之中,借風之勢向天飛去。 這正是神要祂每一個孩子作的事─把黑雲當作火車,藉此得勝有餘。「得勝有餘」不單是把對方驅逐出去,並且還掠得對方一切的軍火、糧食……。 親愛的,你有沒有得到戰利品呢?當你進入苦難谷的時候,你有沒有帶著掠物出來呢?當毀滅臨到你的時候,你有沒有信靠神:祂必叫你出來的時候,比進去的時候更豐富呢?「得勝有餘」就是從仇敵那裏把掠物奪來,撥作己用。 英國孟博士(Dr. Moon)瞎眼的時候,說,「主啊,我從你手裏接受這盲目的恩典。求你叫我用它鑄造你的榮耀,好使你來的時候,得著滿足。」神果然藉他發明盲人所用的凸版文字,千萬盲人得讀神的話語;有許多竟因此蒙了救贖。 ─選 神並不挪去保羅的刺;神作的比「挪去」更好——神利用那刺。刺的用處比寶座的用處更大。 ─選

December 18 "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." (Rom. 8:37) THE Gospel is so arranged and the gift of God so great that you may take the very enemies that fight you and the forces that are arrayed against you and make them steps up to the very gates of heaven and into the presence of God. Like the eagle, who sits on a crag and watches the sky as it is filling with blackness, and the forked lightnings are playing up and down, and he is sitting perfectly still, turning one eye and then the other toward the storm. But he never moves until he begins to feel the burst of the breeze and knows that the hurricane has struck him; with a scream, he swings his breast to the storm, and uses the storm to go up to the sky; away he goes, borne upward upon it. That is what God wants of every on of His children, to be more than conqueror, turning the storm-cloud into a chariot. You know when one army is more than conqueror it is likly to drive the other from the field, to get all the ammunition, the food and supplies, and to take possession of the whole. That is just what our text means. There are spoils to be taken! Beloved, have you got them? When you went into that terrible valley of suffering did you come out of it with spoils? When that injury struck you and you thought everything was gone, did you so trust in God that you came out richer than you went in? To be more than conqueror is to take the spoils from the enemy and appropriate them to yourself. What he had arranged for your overthrow, take and appropriate for yourself. When Dr. Moon, of Brighton, England, was stricken with blindness, he said: "Lord, I accept this talent of blindness from Thee. Help me to use it for Thy glory that at Thy coming Thou mayest receive Thine own with usury." Then God enabled him to invent the Moon Alphabet for the blind, by which thousands of blind people were enabled to read the word of God, and many of them were gloriously saved. -Selected. God did not take away Paul's thorn; He did better-He mastered that thorn, and made it Paul's servant. The ministry of thorns has often been a greater ministry to man than the ministry of thrones. -Selected.

十二月十八日 愛心和禱告 「儆醒禱告,最要緊的是彼此切實相愛。」彼得前書四章7、8節 在上述經文中,把儆醒禱告和切實相愛聯合在一起;屬靈生命也確實如此,如果一個人單為自己禱告,是難以正確地向著神;反之,如心裏充滿切實相愛的心,為那些可愛或意見不合的人代求,那就可以經常與神保持正常的關係。 如果我們在愛的生活中,忽略禱告方面的重要,那弟兄相愛的訣要也就有了缺點。這兩種聖靈的果子是無法分開的,假如你希望你的愛心能增長昇華,那就得捨己,為神的兒女及教會恆切代禱告。這也能使你的禱告生活增長,獻上自己,切實地愛並服務周圍的人,解決他們的難題。 恆切而有能力的代禱是何等大的需要!但願那些抱怨基督徒的愛是何等少的人,能承認他們才最缺少愛的記號——他們沒有經常多方地為弟兄代禱。我深信神渴望祂的子民能合為一體,每天在施恩寶座前為每位肢體祈求聖靈的能力。團結就有力量,這才是真正地關切天國的降臨;真正屬靈的合一能幫助我們過著忘我無私的生活,使一切都是為神和肢體,並把「儆醒禱告——切實相愛」應用在生活上。 愛心增長最好的方法,莫過於每天在一起向施恩座求取喜樂和合一的靈,在我們個人和全部基督的身體(教會)彰顯出來。這不僅提到愛,也提到禱告。當我們思想愛弟兄時,我們不得不與神交通,我們要達到目的,不僅要讀要想,更要藉著聖靈與父神和基督切實來往;愛能促使禱告,而相信禱告能使我們穩妥地擁有神的愛。

十二月十八日 忠實的測驗 「我們曉得萬事都互相效力,叫愛神的人得益處。」羅馬書八章28節 只有忠實的人相信神是製造環境的。我們自由選擇我們的環境,不相信是神製造的;雖然我們口說我們相信,然於我們處理所發生的事情,把它當為人所製造的一般。遇事忠實,意思是我們只有一種忠心,那就是對於我們的主的忠心。假使神忽然破壞我們的環境,也許我們覺悟在某件事上未忠於祂,但未必覺得這種破壞是祂所安排的,也不覺得是祂的旨意,這種事在我們生活歲月中,是絕不會再現的。我們忠實與否是應在此測驗的。如果我們在艱難情形中,習於崇拜神,祂會隨意的,在兩秒鐘以內改變它們。 忠於耶穌基督是我們今日不容易做的事。我們常是忠於工作,忠於服務,忠於任何事,但未忠於耶穌基督。有許多基督徒,談到忠於耶穌,便極不耐煩。我們的主被基督工人推下寶座,比世人還推得厲害。神是祝福人的一架機器,而耶穌基督是工人中的一個工人。 我們替神工作的這種觀念,有些錯誤,應當說我們忠於祂,叫祂藉著我們做祂的工作──「我以為你是誠懇服務的,在你方面沒有怨言,在我方面無須解釋。」神將用我們,像用祂自己的兒子一樣。

十二月十八日 「……是因信神的兒子而活。」加拉太書二章20節 信心所受到最大的阻礙,乃是我們所謂的「我們的信心」。這種信心可謂是沒有果效、掙扎出來的假產品。雖然我們嘗試倚靠神,卻不可避免地虧缺了神的標準,以及祂榮耀的應許。 惟一能與偉大應許相配合,以及能幫助我們得到生活中無數需要的信心,乃是神兒子耶穌的信心。而只要我們聰明地接受耶穌,祂就會賜給我們能力去信靠、愛人、順服,以及在新生命所有應當去做的事。 讚美主耶穌的名,祂以一條看不見的繩索把我們無助的心和祂連繫起來;這繩索並且也與屬天的應許連結在一起。耶穌曾說:「你們當信服神。」(可十一22)這是祂的命令。再說,「是因信神的兒子而活」,已經是許多聖徒得勝的見證。 主啊!教導我擁有耶穌基督有的信心。
